Doing impossible moves since 3000 BC.

I think it’s genetic. In New Orleans none of us had any idea these African dances existed. Deep rooted. Including our music. You hear the imprint in our bounce beats to the jazz & brass band music. (Btw, New Orleans did it the best out of all other U.S Black cultures 💯😂😂😂)

The soul of a people can never be maliciously extinguished.

Black people are indigenous to THE WORLD! We are everywhere because we were here, on earth, all over the earth, first! That's why we look alike, dance similar, have similar styles/sounds of music. The Indigenous People of Earth!

Ryan Coogler putting this in Sinners. >>>>

I feel that a double dutch montage would be a closer fit to the African dance though

FYI the first part is the Zaouli / Zawli dance of the Guro people in the Côte d'Ivoire

That dance is sure worth not having real homes or running water.

Chicago footwork was right there.

We did not get these moves from Africans 🙄 God, people are so stupid and believe anything. Also, Africans need to stop making videos pretending to be Black American

This made me shed a tear from this for some reason❤️

I say this all the time . We are extraordinary! The dances we do are apart of our akaska records. Once the light or beat hits just sit back and watch. What we did in Atl (the ragtop) looks similar to this . Never knew we were just doing ancestral moves. I love US ✊🏿!!

Blud you in Canada tf do you know

Please dont insult our sacred mask !

Monkey dancing is your culture

In Atlanta we called this the ragtop in the 90s

Stop trying to FLAT BLACK us. They don't appreciate it. They try to use your videos to claim #FBA #FREEDMEN Culture as African then go online and say we have no Culture. You gotta catch up to the streets.

One of the reasons that I didn’t really believe in Christianity was because I was told they don’t dance and I just thought about how many indigenous people have dancing as a significant part of their culture and how it has so many benefits

Imagine if yall tried idk building roads and cities - instead of dancing around for 3,000 years

Damn y’all really just hate us huh? I don’t care if y’all claim to be rage baiting for the few pathetic coins daddy Elon gives you for being the worst pieces of human trash on earth, it’s obvious that yall genuinely do hate us.

The tenacity of our culture

No not even similar give African Americans their credit for creating new culture stop the bull shit trying to claim our stuff

We call this jittin in Detroit

I was thinking more so Chicago footwork but still dope to see

@XavierLeoLopez Coolest thing is that they also do this in Central America indigenous to the Garifuna for Central America. Black ppl were all over the world before anyone else.

Who remembers the " Watch my feet " track from the early 2000s

These dances are not that old yall gotta stop

Who cares about a stupid dance

That two different cultures

Meanwhile, the rest of the world made progress and created modern societies

Still tethering unto us I see

amazing costumes and masks, any more info?
