In 2022, when Dolly Parton came to Ohio in support of Dolly Parton's Imagination Library of Ohio, she presented me a copy of her book, "Coat of Many Colors." I have been enjoying reading it to kids across Ohio and doing an arts and crafts activity with them so they can make their own coat of many colors.

"I was surprised and delighted that while he talked to me, he looked at my face (a rare thing for me)," Parton once said. She stopped going to country music award shows after her announcement - even if she was nominated. She took her young daughter to the Phoenix public library expecting classic tales and wholesome fun.
