What an incredible sight—just after our morning walk, we spotted a massive pod of dolphins in the bay. We managed to get the drone out and marvel at them playing and diving in the Raasay Sound! 🐬

Fantastic footage of the dolphins who were in Kilnaughton Bay, Islay on Sunday (June 4) evening. This was shot by some Norwegian yachties who were anchored opposite Islay Beach Cottage and were accompanied by the pod on their dinghy trip to shore.

Did you know that when a pregnant woman is near dolphins, they intuitively approach her and swim around her with extreme interest and focus? 🐬🤰 It's been found that human babies who were born while surrounded by dolphins in water (known as "dolphin-assisted birthing", look it up), showed significantly higher scores in IQ, overall health, and even extra-sensory perceptive abilities (ESP). Makes you wonder why dolphin-assisted births have been BANNED everywhere they used to be standard practice for mothers looking to bring the healthiest babies possible into the world...🤔🐬

A pod of around 30 dolphins became stranded on a beach in Brazil after strong waves pushed them ashore. They lay scattered across the sand, making desperate clicking sounds and weakly moving their tails for help 💔🐬 A group of local residents and tourists quickly gathered together, working side by side in an urgent rescue effort. Every time a dolphin successfully made it back into the ocean, people cheered and celebrated with joy. Some of the dolphins even swam back in circles, almost as if they were saying thank you before finally disappearing into the sea. 🌊🐬
