He was excellent today, held the ball up, won every header to get us up the pitch. Yes finishing could be better but overall impressive performance.

Tbf mate I’ve always rated him for his hold up play. His finishing just lets him down massively

I’m absolutely not, no. His interplay with the 3 attackers behind him would be excellent, instead we have that lump of shite Beto who can’t trap a bag of cement. Grealish, Ndiaye, KDH they know it too - they know there’s no point playing it to him unless it’s a sitter.

Calvert-Lewin 1-on-1 shouldn’t better and should be better with half chances like your little montage, but Beto is shot at them too. So yeh, DCL would be well fuckin better in this #EFC side than him, and would take the pressure of Barry that Beto cannot.

@jonsheaa We've seen him miss 3 a game like this for years, what's behind him doesn't change his end product. I'm not denying he's great at leading the line but without goals it's useless.

I love the commentary, “got to score” on the literal hardest chance of the 3. First one he needs to bury, second one he does well to get infront of the defender. Last one he’s coming backwards on a ball with no pace on it from 6 yards out, no way he scores it 😂

He was good today. The first is a half chance. The second is just good goalkeeping/unlucky, and he should do better on the third by directing it better or taking a touch and shooting. But don’t let that get in the way of your fail comp fairs

If Beto had those chances he’d 100% get an hattrick. 👍

Is there any need for this. He cost us £1.5 million, scored the goal that kept us up. He chose to leave and seek a new challenge. It was best for both parties. Why denigrate the guy unnecessarily. He didn’t leave on bad terms.

It’s a positive he’s getting into these positions and getting the chances. If he can consistently do this I don’t see why he can’t get 10+ goals
