Families were left cowering in fear and a woman broke her arm. This was not journalism. No journalist has a license to trespass into a house of worship. Don Lemon admitted on video what he did and why he did it. Instead of remorse, he quadrupled down. If Christians can be jailed for praying, Don Lemon is not above the law. Deterrence matters. After Don Lemon was correctly called out for participating in the disruption at the church in St. Paul on Sunday, he released this video to try to save face. He and the other disruptors who trespassed at the church are in serious legal trouble. Lemon and the group were asked by the pastor to leave but refused. That’s trespassing. Moreover, Lemon and the group interfered with the church service and intimidated the churchgoers. That’s a violation of the FACE Act. In this clip, Lemon claims the church disruption was free speech. But the disrupters refused to leave and staged their spectacle for political reasons. That’s at least trespassing.
