this will be the first web3 born game i take seriously in a long time (disclaimer: they gave me free packs to make this vid, but it was so fire and i spent more $$$ anyway bc i see the vision) this is my intro to the game: > pack openings > flow of the experience > setting line ups > real thoughts well done, it feels really really good (this took me a day to edit, so ive learned a lot, binder is way better, i was a noob here, will update soon) season 1 starts with a $1M prize pool, but as players buy packs, enter into contests, etc. that volume adds $$$ to the prizes you see it? purely, i like the game, feels really good, so im betting that prizes will scale well the addiction loop is very good it feels like the team is so experienced and has taken all learnings and put it into this also after editing this vid, i bought a lot more packs and have 10x legendaries put 4 total line ups into my first contest, but we’ll be top of leaderboard moving forward

Are you ready for today’s bombshell? I can finally reveal that two weeks ago my colleague and I were in Dendera, Egypt on a “secret mission”—that’s the Egyptian temple with the highest number of mysteries per square meter on Earth. This is where you’ll find the famous “light bulb,” the hidden passageways inside the walls, and the melted staircase. Well, I don’t know about you, but I decided we’re going to crack this mystery. With an actual solution. No—this wasn’t the goal of the “secret mission,” just a side project, since the staircase happened to be right there… So, with the help of an expert, we created a 3D model of the melted staircase, which I’ll make available on my website soon so anyone can play around with it. Here’s how it works: you slowly walk up the stairs, taking a photo at every step, and then software stitches it all together into a millimeter-accurate 3D model. THowever, there’s still some work to be done. This is just a preview video, and the model still has a few glitches and holes here and there. We’re working on fixing those. But it’s already gorgeous—take a look! And what will it be good for? Well, anyone will be able to examine it, take measurements, and try to figure out how this material actually melted and accumulated—without having to travel there. It’s going to be a real treat for armchair archaeologists once it’s finished! And I still haven’t even told you about the “secret project”…

A year ago, I was moved to tears when govt agreed to consult on Council Tax debt collection. I’m reposting that video as today IT'S DONE. On the back of Money and Mental Health campaigning the govt said this morning it WILL change the rules - Currently miss a monthly payment & within 3 weeks, you can be told "pay the whole year". From Apr 27, Councils must wait 63 days to do that & signpost people to help meantime - The max added admin cost is also being capped at £100 Here’s my official quote on it…. “Council Tax debt collection is so aggressive it’d make banks blush. It’s the most vicious and damaging form of legal debt collection out there - causing counterproductive misery for millions. We’ve spent the last 18 months campaigning hard to change this hideous system, and having seen so much pain caused by it, I’m genuinely moved by this huge first step towards making things better.” “Currently, in England, if you miss a monthly payment, many councils, within usually 3 weeks, demand payment for the entire year. How people who can’t find a month’s money are expected to find a year’s I don’t know. Yet if they can’t pay, within just three more weeks, they are often taken to court, have ‘admin costs’ added, and soon see bailiffs sent in. No commercial firm would be allowed to do anything close - constituents are treated worse than customers.” The new rule from next April means councils must wait two months, not 3 weeks, to ask for a year’s money, and the ‘admin costs’ will be capped at £100. Information about tomorrow's launch of the #FM26 3d stadium megapack! First off, really freaking hyped for it, but it is also making me a bit nervous! Been a month in the making now and super cool to see it rolled out and well over beta, but for everyone is really different! Well, this post will contain info on how I roll it out tomorrow. Release time: So I have made the decision to launch the megapack at around 12:00 tomorrow Central European Time. Gives me a bit of time to get up, do final checks and that. Support: I will be streaming for the hours following on from that with the stream starting at about 11:30. I'll be there, probably making stadiums and providing support. I will also release a simultaneous video at 12:00 on my own YouTube channel. In that I will go over the process of installation, some customization you can have and how to do them, as well as chat about current challenges and planned features. Features: The pack features an initial 120 stadiums from (mostly) the top 5 European Leagues. Furthermore, there will be certain stadiums from South America in it for the first version. For more information, consult the google sheet in the follow up post below. It contains a custom made crowd system which has seen a significant performance boost causing nearly no stutters or lag, even on older hardware. The animations might look janky, but they will be worked on during post release support and updates. Bugs: Considering my level and skill in programming, it was only going to be natural that bugs would happen. I have not received any mention of either game breaking, save corrupting or other catastrophic errors. The bugs are relatively minor such as the position of the ball not always aligning or the referee and linesmen disappearing for some reason. Just like the animations of crowds, they will be ironed out over time. If you come across a bug, feel free to let me know, but do so respectfully please :D I also need to stress again, that it will not work on macbooks with apple silicon, and steam deck is still experimental. I will therefore not provide technical support for issues related to apple silicon. FAQ: Some frequently asked questions are: - Will it be free? Yes. 100%! If you see it somewhere and they're charging for it, step away, (kindly) report it to me and I will take the required actions if need be. My mods will always be free in its core, with you having the option to send a donation if you wish to do so! - Will it work on #FM24? No. Plain and simple this will not work in FM24 due to the difference in game engine. - Do I need to start a new save? Nope! Fully compatible with your saves as well as match history. So if you won the final of the UEFA Champions League in your home stadium, you can replay it with your ground ;) this is also the case for saves from FM23 and FM24. Lastly, this has been a mammoth effort, but could not have been done without the support from everyone who has been involved. The Chinese are advancing on 6th-generation fighters, but I have serious doubts about whether this is truly the right path. Recently, the Turkish company Baykar flew two combat drones that operate in perfect synchronization, guided from a ground base. They executed coordinated maneuvers autonomously and are already capable of conducting BVR (Beyond Visual Range) engagements. The Kızılelma became the first drone to achieve an autonomous kill with an air-to-air missile guided by its own AESA radar. This level of Turkish progress, combined with the kill web integration that Chinese drones are demonstrating, isn’t it a strong indication that manned 6th-generation fighters might be an extraordinarily expensive fantasy? I’ll go further: some drones are already reaching speeds above Mach 3.5 - more than double those of the leading current manned fighters. I’m talking about drones capable of high-speed coordinated operations, fully autonomous, with integrated and shared weapon systems, flying at altitudes far higher than conventional fighters, and employing systems similar to Aegis. How much longer until these drones take off in large swarms, equipped with ultra-modern sensors controlled by AI and armed with long-range air-to-air missiles? How could a human pilot, even at the height of adrenaline, make faster and more accurate decisions, involving multiple scenarios and factors, than an AI commanding a pack of smaller, more agile drones operating at different altitudes? We are entering the real competition between man and machine. Even if a pilot in a 6th-generation fighter has control over slave drones and an entire Aegis-like kill web, what is the point of having him there if everything can be done autonomously, more safely, more cheaply, and in far greater numbers? Some argue that the human pilot offers advantages in unpredictable scenarios where today’s AI still fails, and I agree. But I’m not talking about current AI: I’m talking about the AI of 2030–2040, far more advanced than anything we know today. Geran drones equipped with air-to-air missiles prove that air combat drones can be extremely low-cost, while the Turkish tests show, in a far more sophisticated way, that drones designed for air-to-air missions are evolving much faster than 6th-generation aircraft, whose development and production costs are exorbitant. When we put together the Geran, the Kızılelma, and the drone kill web integration the Chinese are achieving, the question arises: is the future really manned 6th-generation fighters, or much cheaper drones produced in greater numbers, better protected, and more capable? Wouldn’t it be smarter to invest in well-equipped autonomous 6th-generation drones rather than treating them merely as wingmen? It seems that keeping a human pilot on board has more to do with ethical principles and preserving our role than with genuine operational necessity. And how would humanity react to the constant killing of human beings by AI-guided drones? Drones will be cheaper to develop, easier to produce, and possibly more agile than conventional fighters, even 6th-generation ones. In cost-benefit terms, the price of a single 6th-generation fighter could buy dozens of equivalent or even superior drones. This would save hundreds of billions of dollars and could put whoever adopts the strategy a step ahead. The Chinese, by the way, are very well positioned in this race, with HALE drones already armed with air-to-air missiles and integrated into an extensive kill web, which I will describe in detail soon.
