THE GAME IS RIGGED AND NOBODY SEEMS TO NOTICE They own everything. They own all the important land. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I'll tell you what they don't want. They don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don't want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. They're not interested in that. That doesn't help them. That's against their interest. That's right. They don't want people who are smart enough to sit around the kitchen table to figure out how badly they're getting fucked by a system that threw them overboard 30 fucking years ago. They don't want that. You know what they want? They want obedient workers. Obedient workers. People who are just smart enough to run the machines and do the paperwork and just dumb enough to passively accept all these increasingly shittier jobs with the lower pay, the longer hours, the reduced benefits, the end of overtime, and the vanishing pension that disappears the minute you go to collect it. And now they're coming for your Social Security money. They want your fucking retirement money. They want it back. So they can give it to their criminal friends on Wall Street. And you know something? They'll get it. They'll get it all from you sooner or later. Because they own this fucking place. It's a big club. And you ain't in it. You and I are not in the big club. By the way, it's the same big club they used to beat you over the head with all day long when they tell you what to believe. All day long, beating you over the head in their media, telling you what to believe, what to think, and what to buy. The table is tilted, folks. The game is rigged. And nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. Good, honest, hard-working people. White collar, blue collar, doesn't matter what colour shirt you have on. Good, honest, hard-working people continue. These are people of modest means. Continue to elect these rich cocksuckers who don't give a fuck about them. They don't give a fuck about you. They don't give a fuck about you. They don't care about you at all. At all. At all. And nobody seems to notice. Nobody seems to care. That's what the owners count on. The fact that Americans will probably remain wilfully ignorant of the big red, white, and blue dick that's being jammed up their arseholes every day. This Video Truly Can Not Be Shared Enough, George Carlin On American Education “Then everyone wonders why 17 other countries graduate more scientists than we do. Education! Politicians know that word, they use it on you. Politicians have traditionally hidden behind three things. The flag, the Bible, and children. No child left behind. Oh really? Well, it wasn't long ago you were talking about giving kids a head start. Head start, left behind, someone's losing fucking ground here. But there's a reason. There's a reason. There's a reason for this. There's a reason education sucks, and it's the same reason that it will never, ever, ever be fixed. It's never gonna get any better. Don't look for it. Be happy with what you got. Because the owners of this country don't want that. I'm talking about the real owners now. The real owners, the big wealthy business interests that control things and make all the important decisions. Forget the politicians. The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice. You don't. You have no choice. You have owners. They own you. They own everything. They own all the important land. They own and control the corporations. They've long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls. They've got the judges in their back pockets. And they own all the big media companies. So they control just about all of the news and information you get to hear. They got you by the balls. They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying, lobbying to get what they want. Well, we know what they want. They want more for themselves and less for everybody else. But I'll tell you what they don't want. They don't want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking. They don't want well-informed, well-educated people capable of critical thinking. Laura Kuenssberg skewers Rishi Sunak on the economic damage of Brexit Laura Kuenssberg, "The long term political choices the UK has made, including leaving the EU, has made it more difficulty for our economy" "Your old bosses at Goldman Sachs say plainly: in the long-term, Brexit has meant that the UK is notably under performing compared to other economies" Rishi Sunak, "We had a referendum.. The British people made a choice.. I was proud to support Brexit.. It's the right thing for our country" Laura Kuenssberg, "Goldman Sachs, the OBR say that trade will be much slower in the long term because we've left the EU" "Do you accept, as one of your own ministers Kevin Hollinrake said this week, that leaving the EU has made things more difficult for many businesses" Rishi Sunak, "Of course, when you leave the EU Single Market and the Customs Union, that is going to change our trading relationship" Laura Kuenssberg, "Making trade more difficult" Rishi Sunak, "Of course that changes your trading relationship.. We have now overtaken France, Japan and the Netherlands to become the 4th largest export economy in the world" For anyone confused. We are trading less goods which is making it difficult for British businesses, however we are selling more services Rishi Sunak, "The choice for people is, if they want to reverse that with Labour, that's what they'll get. Keir Starmer is very clear he will want to do a deal with the EU which will mean accepting some form of free movement of people" Yes please Laura Kuenssberg, "We've talked about that and Labour have denied it" "I want to make clear to our viewers that the vast majority of the trade deals were rolled over deals that we already had with the EU.. The US is not interested in a trade deal even though that was one of the big promises of Brexit" Rishi Sunak, "You haven't mentioned that we're the first European nation to join CPTPP" Laura Kuenssberg, "Which is not yet enforced" Rishi Sunak, "It just needs to go through parliament.. That's a big moment.. We are close to a trade deal with India.. I don't think it's right for Labour accepting EU rules we have no say over" Laura Kuenssberg, "I remind you that Labour have denied that.. And our viewers want to hear the party policies of the person sitting in the chair" Rishi Sunak, "There is plenty of evidence, even from your own minister, that the economic reality of Brexit is that the UK standing long term is more challenging than had we stayed in the EU"

MrBeast: "If you knew what I knew, you could get 10 million subscribers in six months" "Your videos suck. You think your videos are good, but they suck. They just do. And the sooner you learn how to make good, great videos that people actually want to watch, the sooner you'll get views." MrBeast shares his early reality: "When I was 14, I thought my videos were the best in the world. They weren't, they were terrible. To be successful, you kind of have to have a little bit of that ego where you think your content's great. But also, if you have sub-1,000 subscribers, there's a good probability your videos just suck. They just do." He explains what to do about it: "You need to make hundreds of videos. Improve something every time. And just get to the point where they don't suck. When you make good content, you'll blow up. It's not the algorithm. It's not anything. Most people who are in my position just made terrible videos, and that's okay. Because you've got to make a bunch of videos and improve over time to be great." MrBeast uses an analogy: "You don't just pick up a baseball and become an MLB-level athlete within a year. It takes many, many, many years. YouTube's kind of the same way." On analysis paralysis: "A lot of people get analysis paralysis. They'll sit there and plan their first video for three months. If you have zero videos on your channel, your first video is not gonna get views. Period. Your first 10 are not gonna get views. I can very confidently say that. So stop sitting there and thinking for months and months on end. Just get to work and start uploading." He gives the formula: "All you need to do is make 100 videos and improve something every time. Do that, and then on your 101st video, we'll start talking. Maybe you can get some views. But your first 100 are gonna suck." How to improve something each time: "The second video: put more effort into the script. The third one: learn a new editing trick. The fourth one: figure out a way to have better inflections in your voice. The fifth one: study a new thumbnail tip and implement it. The sixth one: figure out a new title. There's infinite ways. The coloring, the frame rate, the editing, the filming, the production, the jokes, the pacing, every little thing can be improved. There's literally no such thing as a perfect video." On the algorithm: "What YouTube wants is for people to click on a video and watch it. That's what it is at its core. By studying the algorithm, you'll learn that you're more studying human psychology. What do humans want to watch?" MrBeast shares a simple reframe: "Anytime you say the word 'algorithm,' just replace it with 'audience' and it works perfectly. 'The algorithm didn't like that video?' No, the audience didn't like that video. Literally, that's it. If people are clicking and watching, it gets promoted more. The algorithm just reflects what the people want." On titles: "Short, simple, and just so freaking interesting that you have to click. If someone reads it, are they like, do they have to watch it? Is it just so intrinsically interesting that it's gonna haunt them if they don't click?" He adds nuance: "Keep it below 50 characters. Above 50 characters, on certain devices it goes dot, dot, dot, and that's the worst thing because then people don't even know what they're clicking on." MrBeast shares the extremity principle: "The more extreme the opinion, typically the higher the click-through rate. 'Fiji water sucks', that'd do fine. But 'Fiji water is the worst water I've ever drank in my life', way more extreme, would do way better. But then you have to deliver. The more extreme you are, the more extreme you have to be in the video." On the first 5 seconds: "Before you film a video, what is the thumbnail? What is the title? Then what's the first 5 seconds? Then what's the first 30 seconds?" He explains why autoplay changed everything: "On YouTube now, videos automatically play. So many people don't even see the thumbnail because it autoplays so quickly. The thumbnail is irrelevant for them. I have to visually convince you to click on the video in the first 5 seconds. Before, the hook was important because you had to convince people to watch. Now you have to convince people to click and watch at the same time, with the first 5 seconds." On matching expectations: "Your title and thumbnail set expectations. At the very beginning of the video, to minimize drop-off, you want to assure them that those expectations are being met. If you click on a video called 'Tether is a scam' and at the very beginning, he starts talking about literally anything else, you're like, 'Oh, this is BS. This isn't what I clicked on.' But if at the very start you go, 'Tether is a scam and I'm gonna teach you why,' then it's like, okay, you match the expectations. Then you want to exceed them." He emphasizes the importance: "The thing people undervalue the most is literally the first 10 seconds of the video. That 15% difference in viewership between losing 35% of viewers in the first 30 seconds versus losing 20%, that really does make the difference between 2 million views and 10 million views. You just had a more strategic intro that hooked them." On removing dull moments: "You basically want to remove every dull moment. Find the 10 most critical people you know, make them watch the video, and just roast it. If I talk to a camera for 10 seconds without a cut, a lot of people will get bored. Having a B-cam and C-cam three seconds in, cutting to a different angle, now it's more interesting even though it's essentially the same thing." On keeping viewers watching: "Give them why they clicked. Tell them why they should watch. Then just stick on topic. That right there isn't even super complex, but I would already put you in the upper echelon of YouTube. A lot of people drag it out. It's like, 'I'm going to eat $100 ice cream, but first...' and then it's them birthday shopping for their mom. That's not why I came here." On quality over quantity: "It's much easier to get 5 million views on one video than 50,000 views on 100 videos. A lot of small YouTubers just post videos that aren't bad but aren't great, and none of them ever pop off, so they never get an audience. It might be better to upload half or a third or even a fifth of the videos, but make the videos you upload so freaking good that the algorithm has to promote it." He warns against the consistency trap: "When you set a consistent schedule and you're constantly having to upload videos that aren't as good as you'd like because you gotta hit 'Oh, this Monday I said I'd upload', that's a dangerous trap. The viewers notice the quality isn't as good and it makes them less likely to watch. I think it hurts your longevity." On the real metric that matters: "A big thing that everyone underestimates, what was your experience with your last video? If people loved the last video of yours that they watched, they're more likely to watch your next one. When people watch your video, you don't want them to go, 'Okay, that was good, but that's enough of you for the day.' What you want is them to go, 'Holy crap, that was crazy! Oh my god, what's that?' and they watch 10 videos. That's how you get high view counts. People watch 10 videos, not one." On thumbnails: "You want it to be simple. When they're scrolling, you want them to instantly understand what you're conveying and feel some type of emotion. Make it so interesting, or spike their curiosity so much, that if they don't click it, they'll wonder before they go to bed what happened?" He gives an example: "If you uploaded 'I rode a skateboard with 1,000 other people on it', and people are falling off the side, it's about to go off a big ramp if you don't click that, you're gonna be so curious. Later in the day, when you're daydreaming, you'll think, 'What happened to those 1,000 people on that skateboard?' That's the mindset you should have when making thumbnails." On knowledge being the only barrier: "It's all knowledge. It really is. I could start a new channel tomorrow without using my face or my voice, without ever promoting it, and in six months have 20 million subscribers. I just could. It's purely knowledge. If you knew what I knew, you could get 10 million subscribers no matter where you are right now within six months." He addresses the skeptics: "90% of the people watching don't agree with that. Everyone has excuses. 'Nah, YouTube just doesn't work like that, Jimmy.' But I mentor a lot of people. I see it all the time. It is possible. It is simply knowledge. The second you accept that it is knowledge and you start your journey of learning figuring out what makes a good video, what does my audience want, how can I elevate and then you take that knowledge and just assume 'I will never understand what the perfect video is' and every single day be devoted to learning and improving as much as possible there you go." On money not being the barrier: "There are tons of viral ideas that don't require money. It does not require money to go viral. One of my most-viewed videos was spending 24 hours in a desert, we just grabbed a tent and some stuff and went to the desert. It got 60-70 million views. People say, 'I could be MrBeast if I had money.' A, I didn't start off with money; I was poor, I had no money. It took me seven years just to buy a camera saving up from YouTube. And B, some of our most-viewed videos literally anyone can do." On why no one will outwork him: "No one's ever gonna do what I do better than me. It's just not humanly possible. I reinvest every penny I make. I work every hour I'm awake. I devote every atom in my brain to solving this. I hire the best people on the planet. I've been doing this for 14 years. And I think in decades, not years. I'm gonna be doing this for another 20-30 years. If I thought someone was doing better than me, I'd just start sleeping less so I could work even more." But he doesn't recommend it: "I don't have a life. I don't have work-life balance. My personality, my soul, my being is making the best videos possible. That is why I exist on this planet. And I don't recommend it. You should have work-life balance. You should not devote your entire life to this one thing. I have a mental breakdown every other week because I push myself so hard. I don't recommend it." The only question that matters: "Subscribers don't matter. Views don't matter. I mean, they do. But everything you want as a creator comes from making the best videos possible and thumbnails. The video part's the hard part. Ask: 'How can I make my videos better?' Do that every single day for years. And then you'll probably get views."

This is a good sign – the best thing I can say after any preview is that I want more – but big questions remain" ▪️No two matches ever play out the same, dynamic events, variable weather, unpredictable players etc ▪️Customization: Each Runner "brings their own flair", but serve as foundations to customize your playstyle - collect implants and equipment to augment your Runner, like stacking implants/upgrades to reduce heat build-up to allow you to keep running, jumping, sliding longer ▪️Contracts: "Ingenious" incentives, finish contracts you accept for permanent upgrades to your stats, add precious items like grenades, shields, inventory-expanding backpacks, etc to your market. The bigger your market, the better your minimum loadout becomes ▪️Contracts provide "valuable direction", bring welcome diversity and add a "precious hit of semi-permanent progression" ▪️Prestige Cores: Rare items that can "really push the boundaries" (ex: Glitch has an upgrade that turns double jump into triple jump for more manueverability) ▪️Another rare item is a backpack that turns you invisible while interacting with containers (very useful when everyone on the map is hunting you) ▪️Each match "feels like the most important one ever", high stakes, "surprisingly challenging AI enemies" that were "much, much better at surrounding and overwhelming players than the vast majority of AI enemies found in other games" ▪️Having a balanced crew helps in exploring the "dark and forgotten places" in maps - filled with deadly creatures like a species of giant ticks who swarm you frantically ▪️Battles can become frantic as you encounter other crews, stalk them across the map, encounter AI enemies to fend off when others come to claim your loot (one preview battle turned into a 9 player free-for-all) ▪️Downside could be the reward system where skilled players enter fresh matches with high level gear that outmatches less skilled players, though Bungie says it has gone out of its way to try and make it where a poorly equipped squad can still stand a chance if they play well ▪️Even if you die, you can can still get upgrades, improve your reputation with factions, advance in perk trees, etc by completing various quests, looting chests, or fulfilling specific objectives which unlock new bits of story and can grant perks like buying slightly better gear from vendors ▪️"The world Bungie has built is every bit as beautiful as it is creepy and dystopian, and there are moments where they satisfyingly hint at the events of the Marathon trilogy from the ‘90s", though "what little I saw did only slightly more than pay lip service to the world" ▪️Uses the seasonal reset model like in Diablo 4, where players are stripped of their loot and progress at the end of each season to mix things up with new content and new meta ▪️Game is designed to get you killed, Bungie expects average exfiltration rates to be comfortably below 50% ▪️"You will lose a lot, and losing hurts a lot[...]Extracts are snapshots of this unpredictability. That white-knuckle countdown may become a gut-punch defeat, an unforgettable clutch, a desperate last-second dive into the portal as your downed allies watch in envy and horror (couldn't be me), or an unnerving anticlimax. It's not always a pleasant one, but it is a strong emotional hook" ▪️Some previewers worried about variety, weren't impressed with the objectives in the alpha, like hunting computer monitors on the map, sprinting over, marking dropships, sprinting over, and repeating, though random events help spice things up ▪️Not a 20-map game says Bungie, map design "does have that sticky battle royale quality of generating memories", though still worried 3-4 medium sized maps might not be enough ▪️Bungie's "verbiage" on updates sounds like possibly 1 new map a year + refreshing existing ones in between, which could work in its favor pushing players to really learn maps, but will they hold up over hundreds of hours? ▪️Fights are decided by gun skill, clever ability use, map awareness, how strong your shield is, how many healing supplies you have, etc ▪️Example: If you have one bar of shield and enemy has four, you'll lose 1v1, but change it up with powerful grenades, status effects like toxic or overheat, backpacks are "transformative", etc Gameplay Trailer ▶️ Gameplay Overview ▶️ PS Blog ➡️ IGN ➡️ GamesRadar ➡️ ▶️

I spent 10 years in burnout. I've finally figured it all out. Understanding Burnout: The Five Interlocking Systems Burnout is a complex syndrome that affects millions of people, yet remains poorly understood by mainstream medicine. This comprehensive guide explores what burnout really is - not simply "being tired" or "needing a vacation," but a profound physiological state involving five interconnected bodily systems. By understanding these systems and how they interact, you can better navigate your path to recovery. What Burnout Really Feels Like If you've experienced burnout, you know it's far more than just feeling tired. You might have days where you feel relatively normal, followed by days where getting off the couch seems impossible. Your body might suddenly develop strange sensitivities - foods you've enjoyed your whole life now cause digestive distress, or you find yourself constantly too hot or too cold. Sleep becomes elusive despite extreme fatigue. Your thinking becomes foggy, your memory unreliable, and your emotions more volatile. These aren't just random symptoms - they're the result of multiple bodily systems being thrown into dysfunction by prolonged stress. Many people with burnout report unexplained physical symptoms: diffuse pain throughout the body, inflammation in unexpected places (like chronic sinus issues), dizziness when standing up (POTS), and a general sense that their body simply isn't working correctly. If these experiences sound familiar, you're not imagining things, and you're not alone. Why Burnout Is So Misunderstood Modern medicine excels at addressing acute problems with clear causes and treatments, but struggles with complex multi-system conditions like burnout. Most doctors receive minimal training on chronic conditions, and virtually none on how different bodily systems interact in states of prolonged stress. When you visit a specialist, they examine only their area of expertise - a gastroenterologist looks at digestive issues, a neurologist at brain symptoms - but rarely does anyone look at the full picture. This fragmented approach leads to medical gaslighting - being told "your labs are normal, it must be stress" or "this sounds like depression" without investigating the underlying physiological causes. Some providers dismiss "adrenal fatigue" as pseudoscience, despite extensive research on HPA axis dysfunction (the medical term for what many call adrenal fatigue). Others will acknowledge only the most extreme manifestations like Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, missing opportunities for earlier intervention. The Five Systems Behind Burnout Burnout involves five primary overlapping systems that become dysfunctional or dysregulated. Understanding these systems is key to addressing the root causes rather than just managing symptoms. 1. HPA Axis Dysfunction The hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal (HPA) axis is your body's main stress response pathway. This system connects your brain to your adrenal glands and regulates energy, stress hormones, and your ability to adapt to challenges. When chronically activated, this system eventually loses its ability to respond appropriately. This dysfunction manifests as cortisol irregularities - either producing too little overall, or producing it at the wrong times. If you struggle to wake up in the morning, you might have insufficient morning cortisol. If you wake too early and can't fall back asleep, you might have inappropriate early cortisol spikes. Recovery from HPA axis dysfunction typically takes 6 months to 2 years, with severe cases taking 3-5 years. 2. Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) Dysfunction Your autonomic nervous system controls unconscious bodily functions like heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and temperature regulation. Burnout can cause dysautonomia - a state where your sympathetic ("fight-or-flight") system becomes dominant, while your parasympathetic ("rest-and-digest") system becomes underactive. Symptoms include heart palpitations, dizziness when standing up, temperature regulation problems, digestive motility issues (feeling like food sits in your stomach for hours), and heightened sensitivity to environmental stimuli. Getting "stuck" in sympathetic dominance keeps your body in a state of hypervigilance, preventing proper rest and recovery. 3. Gastrointestinal System Dysfunction Your digestive system is often called your "second brain" for good reason - it produces 90% of your serotonin and houses its own nervous system (the enteric nervous system). The gut plays a critical role in immune function and overall health. Burnout can affect your gut through several mechanisms: chronic stress can impair the gut lining (leading to "leaky gut"), infections like H. pylori can cause inflammation, and your microbiome (the trillions of bacteria in your digestive system) can become imbalanced. When your gut is compromised, the effects ripple throughout your entire body, causing nutrient deficiencies, systemic inflammation, immune dysregulation, and altered neurotransmitter production that affects mood and cognition. 4. Mitochondrial Dysfunction Mitochondria are the power plants of your cells, producing the energy currency (ATP) that fuels all cellular activities. During burnout, these vital organelles become damaged and less efficient. Their internal structures (cristae) can physically deform, and they shift to less efficient energy production methods. The result is profound fatigue at a cellular level - your body literally cannot produce enough energy to function optimally. Every tissue, organ, and system feels the effects of this energy deficit. The good news is that mitochondria can recover with proper support, as they contain their own DNA and can regenerate when given the right conditions. 5. Immune System Dysfunction Your immune system becomes dysregulated during burnout, often becoming simultaneously overactive in some ways and underactive in others. This paradoxical state can manifest as frequent infections (showing immune weakness) alongside inflammatory conditions and hypersensitivities (showing immune overactivity). Chronic inflammation becomes a persistent problem, creating a constant state of low-grade immune activation that further drains your energy resources and affects brain function, healing ability, and overall wellbeing. Many people with burnout develop new sensitivities to foods, chemicals, or environments that never bothered them before. The Vicious Cycle and Downward Spiral What makes burnout particularly challenging is how these five systems interact and reinforce each other's dysfunction. HPA axis problems disrupt sleep, which impairs mitochondrial recovery. Gut issues create inflammation that triggers immune responses and stresses the HPA axis further. Mitochondrial dysfunction means less energy for healing and proper system function. Minor burnout can resolve on its own with sufficient rest and stress reduction. However, once a certain threshold is crossed, these systems keep each other sick in a self-perpetuating cycle. Without targeted interventions addressing each affected system, recovery becomes extremely difficult or impossible. This explains why some people remain burned out for years or decades despite their best efforts to rest and reduce stress. Navigating Medical Support Unfortunately, most healthcare providers aren't equipped to address burnout as a multi-system condition. This means you must often become your own health advocate and case manager. Some strategies include: When seeking medical help, speak the language of the specialist you're consulting. Instead of saying "adrenal fatigue" (which many doctors dismiss), use terms like "HPA axis dysfunction" or "dysautonomia" that align with medical terminology. Request appropriate testing. Standard bloodwork often misses the markers of burnout. More specialized tests like comprehensive stool analyses, organic acid tests, or cortisol rhythm testing can reveal the underlying issues. Consider working with integrative or functional medicine practitioners who are more likely to understand complex, multi-system conditions. However, be cautious, as quality varies widely in these fields. Remember that your experience is real and valid, even when healthcare providers can't immediately identify the cause. Persistent advocacy may be necessary to get the support you need. Recovery Is Possible But Takes Time Recovering from burnout is a gradual process that cannot be rushed. In fact, trying to accelerate recovery through sheer willpower often backfires, causing setbacks and prolonging the journey. The first rule of burnout recovery is "don't make it worse" - which means avoiding overexertion, respecting your body's current limitations, and prioritizing rest and healing above productivity. Recovery requires addressing all affected systems simultaneously through a combination of lifestyle changes, targeted supplements, stress management, diet modifications, and sometimes medications. This process is highly individualized - what works for one person may not work for another due to genetic differences, varying dietary needs, different lifestyle factors, and unique personal circumstances. The journey to recovery often requires significant changes to how you live and work. It may mean rethinking career choices, relationship dynamics, living situations, and fundamental priorities. While challenging, this process can ultimately lead to a more sustainable and fulfilling life built on a deeper understanding of your body's needs. Conclusion Burnout is not a character flaw or a sign of weakness - it's a complex physiological condition involving multiple bodily systems. By understanding the five key systems involved and how they interact, you can begin to address the root causes rather than just managing symptoms. Recovery is possible, but it requires patience, persistence, and a willingness to make meaningful changes. The path forward involves supporting your body's natural healing processes while avoiding the patterns that led to burnout in the first place. With the right approach, you can not only recover from burnout but emerge with greater resilience and a more balanced relationship with stress.

Warren Buffett turns 93 today! To celebrate, I'm sharing the greatest lecture he ever gave together with his 94 (!) best investment quotes. 1. Rule No. 1 is never lose money. Rule No. 2 is never forget Rule No. 1. 2. Diversification is a protection against ignorance. It makes very little sense for those who know what they're doing. 3. Do not take yearly results too seriously. Instead, focus on four or five-year averages. 4. All there is to investing is picking good stocks at good times and staying with them as long as they remain good companies. 5. American business - and consequently a basket of stocks - is virtually certain to be worth far more in the years ahead. 6. An investor should act as though he had a lifetime decision card with just twenty punches on it. 7. And so the important thing we do with managers, generally, is to find the .400 hitters and then not tell them how to swing. 8. The most important quality for an investor is temperament, not intellect. You need a temperament that neither derives great pleasure from being with the crowd or against the crowd. 9. Bitcoin has no unique value at all. 10. Buy a stock the way you would buy a house. Understand and like it such that you'd be content to own it in the absence of any market. 11. The years ahead will occasionally deliver major market declines - even panics - that will affect virtually all stocks. No one can tell you when these traumas will occur. 12. I insist on a lot of time being spent, almost every day, to just sit and think. That is very uncommon in American business. 13. Buy companies with strong histories of profitability and with a dominant business franchise. 14. For the investor, a too-high purchase price for the stock of an excellent company can undo the effects of a subsequent decade of favorable business developments. 15. I believe in giving my kids enough so they can do anything, but not so much that they can do nothing. 16. The world went mad. What we learn from history is that people don’t learn from history. 17. The key to investing is not assessing how much an industry is going to affect society, or how much it will grow, but rather determining the competitive advantage of any given company and, above all, the durability of that advantage. 18. Among the various propositions offered to you, if you invested in a very low cost index fund - where you don't put the money in at one time, but average in over 10 years - you'll do better than 90% of people who start investing at the same time. 19. Because if you're wrong and rates go to 2 percent, which I don't think they will, you pay it off. It's a one-way renegotiation. It is an incredibly attractive instrument for the homeowner and you've got a one-way bet. 20. Cash is to a business as oxygen is to an individual: never thought about when it is present, the only thing in mind when it is absent. 21. Don't get caught up with what other people are doing. Being a contrarian isn't the key but being a crowd follower isn't either. You need to detach yourself emotionally. 22. For 240 years it's been a terrible mistake to bet against America, and now is no time to start. 23. I never attempt to make money on the stock market. I buy on the assumption that they could close the market the next day and not reopen it for five years. 24. I have no views as to where it (gold) will be, but the one thing I can tell you is it won't do anything between now and then except look at you. Whereas, you know, Coca-Cola will be making money, and I think Wells Fargo will be making a lot of money, and there will be a lot -- and it's a lot -- it's a lot better to have a goose that keeps laying eggs than a goose that just sits there and eats insurance and storage and a few things like that. 25. I just sit in my office and read all day. 26. I won't say if my candidate doesn't win, and probably half the time they haven't, I'm going to take my ball and go home 27. If returns are going to be 7 or 8 percent and you're paying 1 percent for fees, that makes an enormous difference in how much money you're going to have in retirement. 28. We want products where people feel like kissing you instead of slapping you. 29. If you aren't willing to own a stock for ten years, don't even think about owning it for ten minutes. 30. The most important investment you can make is one in yourself. 31. If you buy things you do not need, soon you will have to sell things you need. 32. If you don't feel comfortable making a rough estimate of the asset's future earnings, just forget it and move on. 33. If you like spending six to eight hours per week working on investments, do it. If you don't, then dollar-cost average into index funds. 34. If you're in the luckiest 1% of humanity, you owe it to the rest of humanity to think about the other 99%. 35. If you're smart, you're going to make a lot of money without borrowing. 36. In the 20th century, the United States endured two world wars and other traumatic and expensive military conflicts; the Depression; a dozen or so recessions and financial panics; oil shocks; a flu epidemic; and the resignation of a disgraced president. Yet the Dow rose from 66 to 11,497. 37. In the 54 years (Charlie Munger and I) have worked together, we have never forgone an attractive purchase because of the macro or political environment, or the views of other people. In fact, these subjects never come up when we make decisions 38. In the business world, the rearview mirror is always clearer than the windshield. 39. Investors should remember that excitement and expenses are their enemies. 40. It is a terrible mistake for investors with long-term horizons to measure their investment 'risk' by their portfolio's ratio of bonds to stocks. 41. It is not necessary to do extraordinary things to get extraordinary results. 42. It takes 20 years to build a reputation and five minutes to ruin it. If you think about that, you'll do things differently. 43. The one thing I will tell you is the worst investment you can have is cash. Everybody is talking about cash being king and all that sort of thing. Cash is going to become worth less over time. But good businesses are going to become worth more over time. 44. It's been an ideal period for investors: A climate of fear is their best friend. Those who invest only when commentators are upbeat end up paying a heavy price for meaningless reassurance. 45. It's better to hang out with people better than you. Pick out associates whose behavior is better than yours and you'll drift in that direction. 46. It's better to have a partial interest in the Hope diamond than to own all of a rhinestone. 47. It's far better to buy a wonderful company at a fair price than a fair company at a wonderful price. 48. Just pick a broad index like the S&P 500. Don't put your money in all at once; do it over a period of time. 49. Keep things simple and don't swing for the fences. When promised quick profits, respond with a quick "no”. 50. Lose money for the firm, and I will be understanding. Lose a shred of reputation for the firm, and I will be ruthless. 51. Many management teams are just deciding they're gonna buy X billions over X months. That's no way to buy things. You buy when selling for less than they are worth. ... It's not a complicated equation to figure out whether it is beneficial or not to repurchase shares. 52. The difference between successful people and really successful people is that really successful people say no to almost everything. 53. Most people get interested in stocks when everyone else is. The time to get interested is when no one else is. You can't buy what is popular and do well. 54. Never invest in a business you cannot understand. 55. Your premium brand had better be delivering something special, or it’s not going to get the business. 56. One can best prepare themselves for the economic future by investing in your own education. If you study hard and learn at a young age, you will be in the best circumstances to secure your future. 57. The most important thing to do if you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging. 58. One thing that could help would be to write down the reason you are buying a stock before your purchase. Write down "I am buying Microsoft at $300 billion because..." Force yourself to write this down. It clarifies your mind and discipline. 59. Only when the tide goes out do you discover who's been swimming naked. 60. Opportunities come infrequently. When it rains gold, put out the bucket, not the thimble. 61. Price is what you pay. Value is what you get. 62. Read 500 pages like this every day. That's how knowledge works. It builds up, like compound interest. All of you can do it, but I guarantee not many of you will do it. 63. Risk comes from not knowing what you're doing. 64. If a business does well, the stock eventually follows. 65. Since I know of no way to reliably predict market movements, I recommend that you purchase Berkshire shares only if you expect to hold them for at least five years. Those who seek short-term profits should look elsewhere. 66. Someone's sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago 67. The best thing that happens to us is when a great company gets into temporary trouble... We want to buy them when they're on the operating table. 68. Speculation is most dangerous when it looks easiest. 69. Stay away from it. It's a mirage, basically...The idea that it has some huge intrinsic value is a joke in my view. 70. The best chance to deploy capital is when things are going down. 71. The stock market is a no-called-strike game. You don't have to swing at everything -- you can wait for your pitch. 72. There is nothing wrong with a 'know nothing' investor who realizes it. The problem is when you are a 'know nothing' investor but you think you know something. 73. This does not bother Charlie and me. Indeed, we enjoy such price declines if we have funds available to increase our positions. 74. Too-big-to-fail is not a fallback position at Berkshire. Instead, we will always arrange our affairs so that any requirements for cash we may conceivably have will be dwarfed by our own liquidity. 75. There are all kinds of businesses that Charlie and I don’t understand, but that doesn’t cause us to stay up at night. It just means we go on to the next one, and that’s what the individual investor should do. 76. You can’t buy what is popular and do well. 77. We never want to count on the kindness of strangers in order to meet tomorrow's obligations. When forced to choose, I will not trade even a night's sleep for the chance of extra profits. 78. We will reject interesting opportunities rather than over-leverage our balance sheet. 79. We've long felt that the only value of stock forecasters is to make fortune tellers look good. Even now, Charlie and I continue to believe that short-term market forecasts are poison and should be kept locked up in a safe place, away from children and also from grown-ups who behave in the market like children. 80. What is smart at one price is stupid at another. 81. What we learn from history is that people don't learn from history. 82. When stock can be bought below a business's value it is probably the best use of cash. 83. When trillions of dollars are managed by Wall Streeters charging high fees, it will usually be the managers who reap outsized profits, not the clients. 84. When we own portions of outstanding businesses with outstanding managements, our favorite holding period is forever. 85. When you have able managers of high character running businesses about which they are passionate, you can have a dozen or more reporting to you and still have time for an afternoon nap. Conversely, if you have even one person reporting to you who is deceitful, inept or uninterested, you will find yourself with more than you can handle. 86. Whether we're talking about socks or stocks, I like buying quality merchandise when it is marked down. 87. Widespread fear is your friend as an investor because it serves up bargain purchases. 88. You are neither right nor wrong because the crowd disagrees with you. You are right because your data and reasoning are right. 89. You can't borrow money at 18 or 20 percent and come out ahead. 90. You can't produce a baby in one month by getting nine women pregnant. 91. The most important quality for an investor is temperament, not intellect… You need a temperament that neither derives great pleasure from being with the crowd or against the crowd. 92. You don't need to be a rocket scientist. Investing is not a game where the guy with the 160 IQ beats the guy with 130 IQ. You only have to be able to evaluate companies within your circle of competence. 93. The size of your circle of competence is not very important; knowing its boundaries, however, is vital.

you saved up $3,000 to fly out some mid girl in economy while telling yourself you're a player i flew out 5 dubai models in emirates first class last month and it cost me exactly $0 not because i'm rich. because i understand math that you don't let me explain how to turn your business expenses into a harem marketing system that prints money: most dudes are out here sending $500 cashapps for "uber money" to girls who screenshot it and laugh in the group chat. flying them spirit airlines if they're lucky. splitting the fucking holiday inn. acting like they did something meanwhile i'm converting facebook ad spend into first class tickets here's what actually happened. i had $100k in ad spend coming up this quarter. was gonna pay it anyway, money straight to zuckerberg's pocket. instead i put it all on my amex platinum. boom, 150k points instantly plus another 150k from the signup bonus 300k amex points = 3 emirates first class tickets to dubai retail value of those tickets? $45,000 what i actually paid? nothing. zero. fuck all but i didn't fly out one girl. i flew out five when you fly one girl out, she owns you. she's doing you a favor. you're just another trick trying to impress her. but when you fly FIVE girls out? the entire dynamic flips. they're competing for your attention. they're creating content for you. they're selling you without even knowing it the psychology is fucking beautiful. these girls have never been in first class. probably never will be again. fourteen hour flight with champagne and caviar, their own private suite. they're taking 50 instagram stories before the plane even takes off and they're all tagging me girl #1 posted 52 stories from the flight alone. her 30k followers all sliding in asking who the fuck i am. girl #2 made a whole reel about the experience that hit 2.3 million views. the comments are just hundreds of dudes trying to figure out what i do by the time they landed in dubai i had 400+ dm requests here's where shit gets disgusting. they think this is a "brand trip" because i position it as a creator collaboration. technically they're right. they're creating content. i'm collaborating. the brand just happens to be me lmfao five models, seven days in dubai. they're posting from the villa, from the restaurants, from the yacht. every single post tags me. their combined reach? 4.8 million impressions. organic, authentic, impossible to buy those dudes sliding in their dms asking about me? they find my profile. see i teach funding and travel hacking. realize i'm giving away the exact system. they buy my program last dubai trip generated 42 clients at $5k each. that's $210,000 in revenue from a trip that cost me nothing. actually less than nothing because i was gonna spend that money on ads anyway you think this is about girls but you're missing the entire fucking point every expense in your business can be arbitraged. every dollar you spend can work twice. ad spend becomes points. points become experiences. experiences become content. content becomes clients. clients become more ad spend. infinite loop the girls aren't the product, they're the distribution channel and before you get all moral about it, everyone knows what this is. these aren't naive girls getting tricked. they're influencers who want content. i want marketing. we both get what we want. they fly first class to dubai, i get organic reach. capitalism at its finest the funniest shit is when they go back to dating regular dudes. guys taking them to cheesecake factory, splitting the bill, flying them southwest if they're lucky. they're comparing every experience to dubai first class i own real estate in their head forever and it didn't cost me a fucking dollar your favorite guru is doing this. every dude with a lambo is doing this. they just pretend they're above it while running the exact same game difference is i'm telling you exactly how it works q1 miami trip, 7 models, 300k points, resulted in 31 new clients q2 mykonos, 5 models, 250k points, 27 new clients q3 dubai, 5 models, 300k points, 42 new clients q4 planning maldives with 10 models, gonna break the fucking internet this isn't about flexing, it's about understanding leverage. you're trading time for money. i'm trading points for time for money for more points. every dollar does multiple jobs. every expense becomes an asset stop thinking linearly. your ad spend shouldn't just buy ads. your business expenses shouldn't just buy things. everything should compound i learned this from a 55 year old real estate developer who's been flying models to his properties since the 90s. he calls it "animated marketing material" and swears it's the only advertising that actually works he's worth $500m now so maybe the old fuck knows something anyway, keep saving up your pennies to impress one girl who doesn't even like you. keep flying coach. keep wondering why successful dudes seem to have infinite resources or realize that money isn't real, points are infinite, and everything is marketing if you're smart enough to see it the game is rigged but at least now you know the rules ps. if this triggered you, you're thinking too small. this isn't about women. it's about understanding that everything is leverage and nothing costs what you think it does. your competition doesn't know this. that's your advantage. fucking use it

The outgoing American ambassador to Zambia, Michael C. Gonzales, has accused President Hakainde Hichilema’s government of corruption and dishonesty, stating that Hichilema’s fight against corruption is bogus and is selectively used to arrest and persecute political opponents. He made these remarks while delivering his farewell speech. He said Zambia loses over US$4 billion annually through illicit or dirty financial flows, money leaving the country and not benefiting the Zambian people. Full speech below Remarks by Amb. Michael Gonzales Farewell Reception – April 30, 2026 Good evening. For decades, the U.S. relationship with Zambia was one centered around aid. The United States has provided billions of dollars of assistance to Zambia, helping the country reach HIV epidemic control, contributing to a 20-year increase in life expectancy, slashing malaria deaths, and truly impacting the lives of every Zambian alive today. When we paused funding to review our assistance programs last year, so much of Zambia’s health system began to crumble almost overnight. Despite over $7 billion in U.S. health assistance since 2000 and the hard work of many Zambians alongside us, that crumbling system revealed that while we thought we were building capacity, successive Zambian governments had not built systems. Too often, Zambian officials and leaders abdicated their responsibilities, letting the United States pay for healthcare while officials diverted government funds to their own pockets. Last year I shed tears before the world when I announced a $50 million cut in US health assistance. After years of pleading, I could no longer stand by while the Zambian government refused to stop or take action to hold people accountable for the systematic and nationwide theft of U.S. provided medicines while the Zambian citizens for whom those were intended went without. One year later, not a single notable person has been arrested since last February. Not a single notable prosecution has even begun. After last year’s pause, we resumed almost all of our health assistance, over $400 million including over $75 million in medication. We continue to pay the salaries for over 23,000 healthcare workers, as we have for decades. Such is the legacy of America’s support to the Zambian people. Now, I know there have been alarmist allegations recently. But let me be clear, any suggestion that the United States would withhold critical life-saving healthcare support from those Zambians whose lives and health depend on it unless we get critical minerals is disgusting and patently false! In reality, since October, my government has offered over $2 billion in additional health and economic assistance to Zambia. But we can no longer accept empty promises. The future must look different. The Zambian government must also increase Zambian funding, staffing, and genuine ownership of its systems. This is not to impose our will, it is the only way we know for Zambia to truly own a sustainable healthcare system and to enable robust growth. It is the only way we know to ensure that system serves the people while finally breaking the cycle of foreign aid dependency. Since January, however, like with so many of our other overtures to the Zambian government, we have had effectively zero substantive engagement from Zambian officials to move these efforts forward. Our calls go ignored, questions unanswered, meetings cancelled, leaving us without even opportunities to speak, much less engage in substantive deliberations. Instead of continuing to languish without engagement, the actual funding under our Health MOU should have started this month. Instead, we have reached April 30 still cobbling together funds for mismatched projects without an implementation plan to guide us forward under Zambian leadership, much less a finalized MOU that guides our strategic approach. We know that the Zambian budget cannot even afford to pay for public services today, not to mention the increased healthcare funding or the myriad other huge budget commitments that seem to get pledged daily. So, something has to change if Zambia will ever meet its full potential or be able to sustainably provide services to its own people. At the same time, the Zambian government’s own reports reveal that every year Zambia loses over $4 billion in dirty money flows to East Asia. That is Zambian money that does not benefit the Zambian people or contribute to the budget. If taxed, that would bring an additional $1 billion for the government to fund healthcare, education, social services, and development. Every year, hundreds of millions of dollars of government funds are lost to the Zambian people through corruption. Certainly, it is not just U.S. taxpayers’ support that is stolen. Every year, the country loses out on hundreds of millions of dollars in new investment and growth because they are hijacked by unmitigated petty corruption, blocked because law-abiding investors refuse to pay kickbacks to Zambian bureaucrats or leaders who are never held accountable. The narrative of the U.S.-Zambia relationship is adorned with flowery words of “partnership,” “collaboration,” “strategic,” or “mutual.” Regrettably, the reality of our unrequited relationship for decades has been starkly different. For years, the United States funded programs and sent technical advisors to help achieve Zambia’s development objectives. As we have for these past four months, we have often struggled to get successive governments to even bother answering the phone. It takes months to get a meeting that yields nothing. Officials draft policies they have no intention of implementing, invoking them only in speeches to sound like they are taking action. MOUs decay on the shelf among the others before the signing ceremony even ends, never to be implemented because the ministry will not even meet to discuss implementation. Why? Because generations of Zambian officials and leaders gain from the dysfunction. The non-responsiveness on our availed funding and efforts to truly build a Zambian-owned health system that serves the Zambian people is sadly the norm. The theatre of commissioning a report to get a scandal out of the news cycle but taking no substantive action on accountability is all too common. Of course, the systematic theft of public resources is not unique to American-provided medicines. Attacking the messenger who dares to name these dynamics out loud is not limited to targeting the U.S. ambassador and asking Washington for his removal. Today, 10% of my diplomats have family members who still have not received basic residency permits from the Zambian government. Several have received court summonses as a result. Like Zambians themselves experience, ZRA staff shake down my departing diplomats for fees that do not apply to them too. When elevated, their supervisors double down on the demand. Zambia’s institutionalised and refined corruption does not only dissuade transparent and law-abiding investors from the United States. The inaction, corruption, and intimidation of opponents also harms American citizens, it undermines American organisations, NGOs, companies, and philanthropies. Zambians and so many other global friends of Zambia are also hampered by these very same dynamics, often bearing far more of the brunt of their effects. America’s support to Zambia is long-standing. Our goodwill runs through the veins, the hearts, and the dreams of millions of Zambians. Our hands remain open, outstretched in a genuine, transparent offer of true, tangible, and meaningful collaboration for mutual benefit. But there must be change. Going forward, the benefits of our relationship must be mutual. Empty promises must be replaced with tangible action. Commitments must be honoured, laws must be implemented and enforced consistently and equally. The decades of paying for healthcare while national resources are pocketed must give way to ownership and systematic improvements that enable growth, development, and accountability. Since President Hichilema and I committed to reset the U.S.-Zambia relationship last July, America has redoubled our efforts to support robust Zambian agency. We have availed billions of dollars to support tangible investments and reforms to catalyse Zambia’s success. We have offered expert support to inform reforms that would systematically benefit both the Zambian people and their many friends from around the world, without bias or favour. Sadly, so many of our overtures and goodwill have been met with, to use the most persistent and notorious of the Zambian government’s responses, “Noted. With thanks.” But appointing a Director General of the Anti-Corruption Commission who was actively under investigation by the ACC, and her admonishment to her intentionally under-resourced agency not to investigate senior government officials, only cripples hopes that clean business can be done. Last May, multiple senior government officials shared with me and have confirmed that the government has a 500-page expert report detailing the irreversible harm and risk of generations of birth defects, cancers, heart and liver disease caused by carcinogenic heavy metals unleashed into the Kafue River ecosystem by last year’s Sino Metals tailings dam disaster. But my heart broke when on July 29 last year, one of the country’s senior-most leaders vehemently denied that the government even had the report, much less would act on it until the polluter themselves provided it. I pleaded with her to take action to protect the Zambian people and I again offered U.S. assistance, which the Foreign Ministry had already formally declined. While so many American prospective investors leave, put off by bureaucratic drudgery, inaction, and corruption, the Zambian government recently approved Sino Metals to expand its operations. Did this happen in the face of Zambia’s myriad impediments, or because of them? Today, Sino Metals is scarring game management areas abutting the Kafue National Park. When that tailings dam breaks, I will not be alone shedding tears. Punctuating this, apart from the truly exceptional cases, too many American companies cannot get licences, approvals, or action on basic administrative matters without being shaken down to give brown envelopes of cash. The Zambian people suffer the consequences of these dual offences, exploitation and foregone opportunity. When Parliament ignores the Constitutional Court’s ruling that the process used to ram through a constitutional amendment was itself unconstitutional, investors rightly ask, “If they can do that to the constitution, what does that mean for the sanctity of my contract?” They rightly wonder if the next constitutional amendment which the Attorney General has already announced is really just a guise for resetting term limits. Even the Chinese government convicted AVIC’s Chairman to death for corruption. AVIC’s Chingola-Chililabombwe Road was washed out last month, its negligence disrupting Zambia’s trade with the region. AVIC’s fraud in a $320 million police housing tender in 2014 is well documented. Despite that, this government ignored the competitive bid by renowned Zambian investors only to award AVIC the $650 million Lusaka-Ndola Dual Carriageway project, subsidising this notoriously fraudulent and corrupt company with $300 million from the public pension scheme. How does this happen? Can law-abiding investors do clean business here? Will donors be asked to backfill the loss when the pension money too is wiped out? The rhetoric of “no sacred cows” is rubbish when there are not any cows except those who are deemed to be disloyal. When only opponents are arrested, but not those in office engaged in the very same practices, the hollow rhetoric of “rule of law” only further keeps investors away, preventing the creation of growth, jobs, and tax revenues to pay for public service commitments. Zambia does not need money. It needs leaders who govern for the people with integrity. It needs the political will to put Zambia first. But, of course, you do not need me to say this. Dambisa Moyo, herself a daughter of the soil, made these same arguments 17 years ago. What America is trying to do here is both bolster Zambia’s sovereignty and catalyse Zambia’s growth. We are offering a transparent and open hand to join the Zambian people for mutual progress. We know that while you pursue a Zambia First agenda and we pursue America First, we are still able together to achieve something notably better for both of our countries, and we can do so without it coming at anyone’s expense, anyone’s exclusion, fully transparently, and legally. Now, of course, the United States will absolutely continue to honour our long-standing commitment to the Zambian people to provide critical life-saving healthcare support. We will not leave Zambians without access to ARVs. We are redoubling our support to ensure that babies are not born HIV-positive. But, against the unmitigated systematic theft of U.S. assistance, against the refusal by the Zambian government to engage and to own or enable a sustainable healthcare system that serves the people, in an environment where only the most exceptional of American investors can do clean business, and where Zambian government officials often can scarcely be bothered to take meetings with American officials or companies, not to mention capture the billion dollars of its own money secreted out of the country to East Asia or hold accountable the company that unleashes generations of cancer and birth defects onto the people, without fundamental change, as the American Ambassador to the Republic of Zambia, how can I ask American taxpayers, Congress, or President Trump to continue the massive aid budgets that have been the hallmark of our relationship for decades? The United States remains intent to work with Zambia toward our mutual objectives, but how Washington responds to silence, inaction, aversion to accountability, and lack of ownership remains to be seen. That said, I am confident that it will depend on fundamental changes by the Zambian government to take action to do right by the Zambian people. It will depend on actions to foster and enable the Zambian people, and their partners who abide by the rule of law, to be able to tangibly contribute to a mutually beneficial future. Washington’s hand remains open and outreached for transparent, accountable collaboration enabling tangible action to benefit both of our countries. But we can no longer own the projects more than the Zambian government. We cannot justify continuing to prioritise funding where the Zambian government also does not deploy its own resources. No longer will we lead while Zambian officials sit back unresponsively. Quite simply, America can best support Zambia’s sovereignty, agency, and success if we finally abide by the maxim and refrain from wanting development more than the Zambian government does. That said, what happens between governments and embassies is important, but it is only a small fraction of the broader relationship between countries. The ties between Zambia and America are profound, strong, and everlasting. The connections between churches and civil society, the linkages between students, artists, and researchers, the bonds between communities, the union of our peoples, these are the essence of the U.S.-Zambia relationship, and these will never fade. Too often people hope for change. They note what others should do. But hope is not a strategy, and we cannot control the actions of others, only our own. So, as I prepare to leave this country that I love, I ask those of you whose country it is, is this the Zambia you want? Are you on course to achieve it? If not, what action will you take to contribute to making that become a reality? I first stepped foot in Zambia in 1995. My daughter took her first steps in Livingstone. As I prepare to depart, I take with me beautiful memories of Zambia and the Zambian people, but I depart with a heavy heart wondering if realisation of the Zambian dream will be deferred for yet another 64 years while even more Zambians fall into poverty instead of being able to rise into the brilliant future that is possible. But my role here is not about this little guy with a big heart for Africa. It is about America and Zambia. America will continue reaching out to the people of Zambia, offering our support, seeking as much to learn as to share, doing so openly and transparently, and eager to help enable the realisation of that Zambian dream and the creative future that benefits, and can only be discovered through, our sincere partnership. I thank you.

This is a message for everyone who treats loyalty programs like they're a joke: today's Kith announcement should be a serious wake-up call for you. Here's why. 👀 I've loved Kith for years, so I've already been on the higher end of the LTV spectrum. But there's no doubt in my mind that Kith's new loyalty program is going to turn tens of thousands of happy customers into brand evangelists. And for the slice of their 3M Instagram followers that haven't purchased yet (let alone how massive their owned lists are), the program's new benefits are the perfect incentive to buy - and later fall in love with a new favorite brand. So, what's so genius about their program? In no particular order... 1) You need to download the Kith app to get started. Paging my pals at Tapcart here, but there's a solid amount of data to show that getting your customers to download and shop from a mobile app can drastically improve your CVR, AOV, and RPS. Kith will be able to nudge customers to purchase when they're close to unlocking certain benefits with push notifications, as well as deliver extremely personalized shopping experiences. Amazeeeeee. 2) Kith's rewards program offers customers more than just discounts. As Ronnie Fieg shared in this morning's announcement video, earning rewards means earning early access to new drops, premier experiences, and exclusive capsule collections based on your tier. Loyalty programs that encourage customers to spend $300 to earn $10 are so blah. Kith isn't launching a "points program" - they're launching an experience. 3) Kith's existing, loyal customers will be rewarded for all of their historical purchases - they don't have to start from 0. Kith is ~12 years old, meaning that many, many customers have already spent a significant amount of money with the brand. Prior to launch, their team diligently compiled each customer's historical purchases in order to reward points for dollars already spent. This is INSANE in terms of lift - but it is an absolutely incredible way to delight your high-value, VIP customers. Such a killer move. 4) You can earn points from more than just purchases - there's a gamified "achievements" layer built in, too. Further gamifying rewards for their largely millenial & Gen Z audience is a brilliant move. Rewards members can earn points by checking in at an IRL Kith store, attending Kith events, or even updating account information / preferences. Earning those points = little dopamine hits. Kith has literally built an incentivized system to draw customers into IRL shopping experiences, which is ingenious, because they have mega-optimized retail stores with mega-talented sales reps on the floor. This is how you make people obsessed with your brand. 5) There are 3 rewards tiers. From the color of each digital rewards card to the name of each tier, Kith delivers a beautiful, branded experience. Tiering system = more gamification. Love that. But beyond that, the dedication to naming each tier and thoughtfully designing their digital loyalty cards helps shoppers develop an even deeper relationship with Kith's brand. Plus, Kith's founder Ronnie is an ex-sneaker designer. This audience is obsessed with aesthetics. 6) Rewards tiers unlock access to unique community events, drawing together crowds of brand fans. You know how groupthink works? Typically not considered a good thing - but if you’re an ecomm brand and you’re putting a bunch of brand loyalists with credit cards in their wallets in the same room…groupthink is going to make you more money. And my personal favorite... 7) Each rewards tier unlocks access to an exclusive capsule wardrobe. Coming from a sneaker genius, I expected nothing less - but this team knows their audience. Kith is already a high pricepoint product (ex: men's tees run from $50 to $600). This brand operates on luxury and exclusivity. Kith people see other people wearing Kith, and they comment on it. It's a secret society, in a way. Now imagine seeing someone wearing a shirt from a brand you love, and you want to buy it. You ask where they got it, and you find out you can't unlock access to purchase until you spend X dollars. If you're serious, you're going to spend to unlock. And for already in-the-know members, they're going to see each other in that capsule wardrobe out in the world, and have that unspoken connection. BRILLIANT. *bonus note here: these capsule wardrobe items are all made to order. that is LUX. **additional bonus note: each capsule includes products in the colorway that aligns with that of the tier - so if you want exclusive items in blue (tier 2), you're going to have to spend even more to get it. -- Kith launched their announcement video on their social profiles at around 9AM EST on 1/25. They already have hundreds of comments, thousands of likes... this is going to absolutely blow up. Bravo to the Kith team - an absolute masterclass in building a loyalty program for YOUR consumer audience. 👏

Patrick Bet-David Noticing Some Amazing Coincidences With These College Protests, Things Like Both Election Year Protests started around the same time: The George Floyd BLM riots happened in May 2020 Now in May 2024, College Protests are happening The media is repeating the exact same lines, “If one student dies” David “If one student dies, it's as if they want this” “The date is May 26th, you can Google this, 2020, when George Floyd died and all they needed was a story like that. They need chaos. Today is May 2nd. We are roughly a little over three weeks away from that date with George Floyd.” Now Breaking Down The Money Trail: Do you know what percentage of the revenue that Harvard got in their endowment in 2021 came from actual tuition of students trying to get a degree from Harvard? Tuition, degree, Harvard. What do you think it is? A lot of people say, well, $60,000, $70,000 a year. $80,000, that's how they make their money. Really? Only 10% of their endowment came from actually doing their job, educating students. Do you know 39% came from donations? Do you know 10% came from gifts? Do you know nearly 49% of the money Harvard got in 2021 is from donations and gifts? Only 10% is from students. So let me ask you a question. Let's paint a picture here. Let's just say, let's just say the professor of Harvard, the dean, the president of Harvard, of Columbia, their assistant says, Mr. President, we have two people waiting for you on hold. Line one is, your number one student's parents. How much money did they give us last year? I think outside of the tuition, around $300,000. Who's on line two? George Soros. Oh, oh, tell Mr. Jackson, the number one student's parents, I'll call him back. Please put Mr. Soros through. Hello, Mr. Soros. How can we help you? Oh, because you gave so much money and da-da-da-da-da and all these other endowment money being given to them. FYI, let me go a little bit deeper for you. Do you know China, since 2019, 2018, they've given roughly $400 million to universities in America. Do you know what university they gave the most money to? 70 million went to Harvard. Who's Harvard's number one customer? Students? Or these people that are giving massive donations to them, who's their number one customer? It's very strange when you sit there and you ask yourself, why are they doing nothing about it? Why are they okay with Palestine flags going up and not America's flag going up? It's because we're not asking the right question. The moment we find out who the number one customer is, that gives the most money, it gives you a lot of perspective to realize, if you ran A, you do construction, you're a general contractor. You have two clients. One of them gave you $50 million of business to big buildings last year. The other one gave you $10 million. Which client is more important to you? So why are people confused? These professors, these professors that we're all trusting our kids with who hate America, we're supposed to spend that kind of money and send our kids there that are being controlled by the people that are giving the donations who hate America, and we're supposed to be okay with that. Yeah, I think we're naive. I think we need to start exposing and talking about some of this stuff. I'm going to put the link below for you to watch. But I wonder. Who do you think, from all the stuff that I just said to you, who do you think is their number one customer? You? The students? The parents? Or those people that are giving the most donation to these guys? I don't think it's a tough question to ask, but I want to ask you, what do you think? Comment below.” This is a summary of what’s being said, there’s much more good details in the video.

Analyzing Trailer 2, S2, Uzak Sehir Ah be. It feels good to be proven right sometimes, because frankly, at times it felt like I was making shit up from thin air - but I wasn't. There was a method to my madness (Thank God, I'm not ready for the straitjacket just yet). If you haven't read my analysis for ep 9, it'ks okay. It's attached below for your reading convenience because it's straight up tied to this beautiful scene in the latest trailer. The best thing that stood out to me at first glance, is that CihAl are still very much themselves. Yes, they've confessed and kissed, but they're still working through their issues. Yes, they're determined to fight for their love, but they're still also fighting their demons. Their awkwardness (when they're alone) is emphasized, because now they're going to learn each other as lovers. And, we get to watch that too (lucky us). Another plus point is they're still amazingly frank with each other. Cihan tells her 'If only touching you wasn't so difficult ' and Alya lovingly responds with 'When has anything been easy for us?' That tells us these folks are on the same wavelength to an undeniable degree. They've clearly had a heart-to-heart and understand where they stand. More importantly, they accept each other as they are, and that should tell you how mature their feelings are already. And then Alya tells him about how she had her own version of the infamous 'Beş saniye.' Obviously, she's trying to say the something sparked to life when she saw Cihan the first time. No, not like that you maniacs. Get your minds out of the gutter. She means the spark of recognition, of two hearts and souls recognizing each other. Like Bronte says, "Whatever our souls are made of, his and mine are the same." They see each and come to life, even though the circumstances are less than ideal. But, that's the thing about CihAl isn't it. It's not an ordinary love story. It's a tale about love beating impossible odds to be realized in the most beautiful way. And, it's also Alya's way (her gentle and loving way) of putting Cihan at ease. For a man who has been deprived of care and love for most of his life, Alya is the soothing balm to his wounds, it's no wonder the man fell in love with her. Wouldn't you love your salvation? Anyone who tries to twist into something disgusting and says stupid shit like 'bu ne rezillik' needs their creepy heads examined. Anyhoo, moving on, and this is my absolute favorite part, because its a direct throwback to the MAJOR foreshadowing in episode 9. Cihan says, 'The road we took wasn't easy, but despite it all we made good progress.' And what does Alya say? She says, 'But we still have a way to go.' This is directly linked to the song that plays in episode 9 when they're flying a kite. In my opinion, it's the writer's way of saying 'Don't worry, I've got this. These two will do just fine.' And here's why. The following is what I wrote in my analysis of episode 9: "...In ep 9, when Kaya's arrested for shooting whatsisname to save Zerrin, you can see Alya making an effort to help Cihan out...You can see Cihan not only accepting Alya's support and sharing his burdens with her, but you can also see Alya empathizing with Cihan. And that theme continues throughout the episode. When Alya overhears Demir's evil scheme to buy Sahin's home to cause trouble for Cihan, she promptly calls Cihan to warn him. In a way, ep 8 and 9 serve to break the cycle of blame CihAl are stuck in and replace that with understanding and connection. It's no wonder then that we get to see the kite flying scene on the roof with Alya, Cihan, and Deniz, where all three actually look like a real family for the first time. The song that plays in the background is 'Daha Gidecek Yolumuz Var.' And the lyrics? This is what the verse that plays during that scene translates to: Beneath the weeping willow’s shade, Let it be you and I, meeting at last. Take my body, take my soul — Let this weary spirit finally be free. Take all I am, every trace of me — So that this soul might know peace. We have so far still to go, my beautiful beloved. The road stretches on before us. So far still to walk, hand in hand — The path isn’t done yet. Many don't see ep 9 for what it is. It's a major milestone for CihAl and the foundation for their love story..." In my opinion, CihAl have a beautiful journey ahead, with a beautiful ending. Not any of that 'tragic end' weirdness, because their story from the beginning has been about overcoming obstacles. About not just realizing an impossible love, but also living it to it's full extent. And it's for that reason, we're remined of 'We have so far still to go, my beautiful beloved. The road stretches on before us. So far still to walk, hand in hand.' Hand in hand being the operative words. The best part is, Cihal's journey together is just beginning. And on that note, here's to the happiest of endings. Till next time, happy reading people! #CihAl #UzakŞehir

In 2005, a 21-year-old Mark Zuckerberg sat down for an interview at Stanford. Facebook was 18 months old. He said: "Every day we do more than 230 million pageviews. In like two weeks we're gonna pass Google in pageviews." He was right. This 60 minute interview shows how he thought about building before anyone knew what Facebook would become: The company started because Harvard didn't have a Facebook. A directory where you could look people up. "I did two years at Harvard. During my sophomore year I decided that Harvard needed a facebook. It didn't have one. So I made it." He wrote the first version in a couple of weeks. Maybe less. "By the time I was done throwing together the site, I had no idea how successful it would end up being. I was actually thinking that after like a week I had a different idea I wanted to do. I was gonna scrap it and not do this." He almost killed Facebook to build something else. Then people started signing up. A couple hundred at first. Then requests from other schools. Then it spread. His roommate Dustin wanted to help but couldn't program. "He went home for the weekend, bought the book Perl for Dummies, came back and said 'Alright, I'm ready.' I'm like dude, the site's not written in Perl." But Dustin helped anyway. For most of the first year, it was just a few guys working around a kitchen table. They came out to Palo Alto for the summer because "this was a place that a lot of startups had been from" and because Mark had friends working at EA he wanted to hang out with. He never went back to school. By the time he was supposed to return, they had hundreds of thousands of users and Peter Thiel had put in the first investment. "That sort of made my parents think okay, this is something that could be cool. When I first started doing it they were like, what possible value could this have for you?" The metrics were already insane. 70% of users came back every single day. 85% weekly. 93% monthly. "That's really important for us because we're not trying to create something that people use for a specific purpose. This is a utility that people can use to find relevant information socially." 5.5 billion pageviews in September 2005. The 10th most visited website on the internet. More than a million dollars a month in revenue. "And we're not even doing anything cool yet." He refused to call it a social network. "I don't really call it a social network. I refer to it as an online directory. Saying that something is a social network is like saying that a company that has factories is in the assembly line space." When asked why Friendster and others plateaued, he had one answer: utility. "Making the site useful and keeping the utility there is the thing I focus on most. A lot of the reason why some of them failed is the horizontal social network piece works really well at growing stuff. That provides a technical challenge as user bases scale up really quickly." Friendster couldn't keep up with the technical load. Facebook could. They were also doing things with data that no one else was doing. "We compute a percentage of realness that a person is. If they fall below a threshold, they're done." "This is something my friends and I like to do. We just go through and see how real certain people are who we know are actually real people. 'Well, you're only 75% real.'" They could predict relationships. "One of the things my friend and I were messing around with the other night was seeing if we could use the information we had to compute who we thought were gonna be in relationships. We tested this about a week later. We had over a 1/3 chance of predicting whether two people were gonna be in a relationship a week from now." On hiring, he only cared about two things. "Number one is raw intelligence. If you find someone whose raw intelligence exceeds theirs but has ten years less experience, they can probably adapt and learn way quicker. Within a very short amount of time they can do a lot of things that person may never be able to do." "The second is alignment with what we're trying to do. People can be really smart or have skills that are directly applicable, but if they don't really believe in it, they're not gonna really work hard." "The best people I've hired so far have been people who didn't really have that much engineering experience. I hired a couple of electrical engineers out of Stanford to do programming stuff. They had very little programming experience going in. But really smart. Really willing to go at it." "The guy who just wrote photos was one of those guys. If you're willing to just go and do whatever it takes to get photos out, you're probably more valuable than someone who's just a career software engineer." When asked about exit strategy, he shut it down. "I spend my time thinking about how to build this, not how to exit. What we're doing is more interesting than what anyone else is doing. This is just a cool thing to be doing. I don't spend time thinking about that." His investor Jim Breyer added: "I actually don't either. We're long-term oriented investors." The only tension between them was whether to bring in an experienced CEO. "They look at this investment and say we have this 21-year-old kid running it. We should at least try to complement him with someone who has more experience running a business. Honestly, that's something I'm a little afraid of. Even though it's probably really good." "How quickly do you want to transition from being in a dorm room to being around your kitchen table to then hiring people and going into an office to having someone run the company like an experienced company leader? It's not necessarily something you just do overnight. You want to get there, but patience is somewhat important." He never hired that outside CEO. This 60 minute interview will teach you more about building, hiring, and thinking long-term than every startup biography combined. Bookmark & give it 60 minutes this weekend, no matter what.

In the 1920s, a Stanford psychologist tracked genius children for 50 years. Malcolm Gladwell breaks down what he discovered: Rich families → successful. Poor families → failures. Not average. Failures. Genius-level IQs that produced nothing. He spent 60 minutes at Microsoft explaining why we're wrong about success: The psychologist was named Terman. He gave IQ tests to 250,000 California schoolchildren. He identified the top 0.1%. Kids with IQs of 140 and above. His hypothesis: these children would become the leaders of academia, industry, and politics. He tracked them. And tracked them. For decades. The results split into three groups. The top 15% achieved real prominence. The middle group had average, moderately successful professional lives. And the bottom group? By any measure, failures. The difference wasn't personality. Wasn't habits. Wasn't work ethic. It was simple: the successful geniuses came from wealthy households. The failures came from poor families. Poverty is such a powerful constraint that it can reduce a one-in-a-billion brain to a lifetime of worse than mediocrity. There's a concept called "capitalization rate." It asks a simple question: what percentage of people who are capable of doing something actually end up doing that thing? In inner city Memphis, only 1 in 6 kids with athletic scholarships actually go to college. If our capitalization rate for sports in the inner city is 16%, imagine how low it must be for everything else. Here's something stranger. Gladwell read the birth dates of the 2007 Czech Junior Hockey Team: January 3rd. January 3rd. January 12th. February 8th. February 10th. February 17th. February 20th. February 24th. March 5th. March 10th. March 26th... 11 of the 20 players were born in January, February, or March. This isn't unique to the Czechs. Every elite hockey team in the world shows the same pattern. Every elite soccer team too. Why? The eligibility cutoff for youth leagues is January 1st. When you're 10 years old, a kid born in January has 10 months of maturity on a kid born in October. That's 3 or 4 inches of height. The difference between clumsy and coordinated. So we look at a group of 10 year olds, pick the "best" ones, give them special coaching, extra practice, more games. We think we're identifying talent. We're just identifying the oldest. Then we give the oldest more opportunities, and 10 years later they really are the best. Self-fulfilling prophecy. The capitalization rate for hockey talent born in the second half of the year? Close to zero. We're leaving half of all potential hockey players on the table because of an arbitrary date on a calendar. Kids born in the youngest cohort of their school class are 11% less likely to go to college. 11% of human potential squandered because we organize elementary school without reference to biological maturity. Now here's the part about math. Asian kids dramatically outperform Western kids in mathematics. The gap is enormous and consistent across decades of testing. Some people say it's genetic. It's not. It's attitudinal. When Asian kids face a math problem, they believe effort will solve it. When Western kids face a math problem, they believe the answer depends on innate ability they either have or don't. Here's the proof. The international math tests include a 120-question survey. It asks about study habits, parental support, attitudes. It's so long most kids don't finish it. A researcher named Erling Boe decided to rank countries by what percentage of survey questions their kids completed. Then he compared it to the ranking of countries by math performance. The correlation was 0.98. In the history of social science, there has never been a correlation that high. If you want to know how good a country is at math, you don't need to ask any math questions. Just make kids sit down and focus on a task for an extended period of time. If they can do it, they're good at math. Why do Asian cultures have this attitude? Gladwell's theory: rice farming. His European ancestors in medieval England worked about 1,000 hours a year. Dawn to noon, five days a week. Winters off. Lots of holidays. A peasant in South China or Japan in the same period worked 3,000 hours a year. Rice farming isn't just harder than wheat farming. It's a completely different relationship with work. There's a Chinese proverb: "A man who works dawn to dusk 360 days a year will not go hungry." His English ancestors would have said: "A man who works 175 days a year, dawn to 11, may or may not be hungry." If your culture does that for a thousand years, it becomes part of your makeup. When your kids sit down to face a calculus problem, that legacy of persistence translates perfectly. Now consider distance running. In Kenya, there are roughly a million schoolboys between 10 and 17 running 10 to 12 miles a day. In the United States, that number is probably 5,000. Our capitalization rate for distance running is less than 1%. Kenya's is probably 95%. The difference isn't genetic. The difference is what the culture values and where it spends its attention. Here's the most fascinating finding. 30% of American entrepreneurs have been diagnosed with a profound learning disability. Richard Branson is dyslexic. Charles Schwab is dyslexic. John Chambers can barely read his own email. This isn't coincidence. Their entrepreneurialism is a direct function of their disability. How do you succeed if you can't read or write from early childhood? You learn to delegate. You become a great oral communicator. You become a problem solver because your entire life is one big problem. You learn to lead. 80% of dyslexic entrepreneurs were captain of a high school sports team. Versus 30% of non-dyslexic entrepreneurs. By the time they enter the real world, they've spent their whole life practicing the four skills at the core of entrepreneurial success: delegation, oral communication, problem solving, and leadership. Ask them what role dyslexia played in their success and they don't say it was an obstacle. They say it's the reason they succeeded. A disadvantage that became an advantage. Here's what Gladwell wants you to understand: When we see differences in success, our default explanation is differences in ability. We forget how much poverty, stupidity, and attitude constrain what people can become. We refuse to admit that our own arbitrary rules are leaving talent on the table. We cling to naive beliefs that our meritocracies are fair. The capitalization argument is liberating. It says you don't look at a struggling group and conclude they're incapable. It says problems that look genetic or innate are often just failures of exploitation. It says we can make a profound difference in how well people turn out. If we choose to pay attention. This 60 minute Microsoft talk will teach you more about success than every self-help book you've ever read combined. Bookmark this & give it an hour today, no matter what.

If you're a Christian man, it is obvious to see that the world is controlled by Satan. Everywhere you look, we see evidence of this—from entertainment to politics to social media. It is clear that the enemy's agenda is at play, and it's an agenda designed to sabotage the men who have influence in the kingdom of God. And if you’re an entrepreneur who’s been struggling with your weight… You are being affected by this satanic agenda. Why Your Health Is Under Spiritual Attack: My name is Gabe Pluguez, and since 2019, alongside my business partner Joey Yochheim | Default Kings , we’ve been helping men break free from unhealthy patterns—for good. And we don’t just help men “get in shape.” We teach them a faith-based approach to changing their unhealthy habits so that they actually keep the weight off permanently. Like Jim— shown in the video, a 70-year-old C-suite executive who lost 53 lbs in 5 months, kept it off through the holidays, and has sustained it since after working together. Like Alex— shown in the video, a crypto entrepreneur and a dad of one who’s lost more than 40 lbs, has gotten abs, competes in Jiu-Jitsu, and has kept it off for over 2 years since after working together. Like Gavin— shown in the video, a 50-year-old father of six who was busy running multiple businesses but still lost 32 lbs in just 12 weeks. Or like Vinnie— shown in the video, an entrepreneur who’s lost 50 lbs and has kept it off for over 2 years since after working together. So here’s the thing. You already know the truth. You know that you shouldn’t be eating garbage. You know that you should be exercising consistently. You know that God made you in His image and that you’re designed to be strong and actually commanded to honor the body He gave you to carry out His mission for your life. Yet… that's not the reality you're experiencing. Why You Keep Failing to Fix This (Romans 7:15) You're experiencing exactly what Paul talks about in Romans 7:15: “I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do, I do not do, but what I hate, I do.” These are your unhealthy default actions. And if you’re like most Christian entrepreneurs, you’re probably sacrificing your health at the altar of your business. You tell yourself: • “I’ll fix it later.” • “Business and family obligations come before me.” But here’s something that might make you uneasy… That is the exact lie that the enemy wants you to believe. The Lie That’s Keeping You Weak, Tired, and Ineffective: Satan wants you to believe the lie that you are incapable of honoring your body while stewarding everything else. He wants you: ❌ Exhausted ❌ Weakened ❌ A slave to gluttony and sloth ❌ To set a poor example to the people you’re called to lead And additionally... Satan wants you dead... Early... Because if your body is weak, you’re easier to tempt. If you’re out of control, you have less influence over the people you’re supposed to lead. And if you die early—then you’re not even here. And maybe you’ve known this for a while. You’ve tried keto, intermittent fasting, Weight Watchers, Personal Trainers, or even Ozempic… But here’s the part you haven’t heard before. You’ve Been Lied To. You’ve been trying to use a temporary Band-Aid on a spiritual wound. Mainstream diet methods promise a quick fix… but they leave you discouraged and defeated. That’s why studies show that 90% of people who try these diets gain the weight back. And after so many repeated failures, you start to accept the lie from the enemy— “I just can’t figure out this one area of life.” And here’s what makes it even worse. Your pastors aren’t helping—they don’t talk about gluttony because they’re still struggling with it themselves. Other Christians make it harder. They say: 💬 "It’s no big deal!" 💬 "God gives you grace!" 💬 "Come on, one donut won’t hurt!" But I need you to ask yourself: Are the men telling you this the type of men you respect? Are they disciplined? Are they leading by example? Or are they justifying their own addiction to comfort? How I Know Exactly What You’re Feeling: Maybe you’re reading this, and you already know all of this. You know you shouldn’t be eating junk… but you do. You know you should be working out… but you skip it. You know you should stop turning to food for comfort… but you still do. And if you’re feeling convicted right now, I understand. Because I was once enslaved to sin in the exact same way. For over a decade, I was addicted to pornography. I was having premarital sex while still trying to be a Christian leader. I read my Bible, went to church, and knew exactly what I needed to do… Yet I kept falling into the same old pattern. I felt like I fraud. And, there was even this moment when I was finally convicted—just like you are now. I told my ex-fiance: “We’re not having sex anymore.” She looked me dead in the eyes and said: “If we’re not going to do that, then I’m leaving.” And I looked right back at her and said: “Okay. Leave. I choose Jesus.” She walked out the door. And I was proud of myself. I thought: “Thank you, Lord, for the strength to make this decision. I can finally honor You.” And then… Less than 24 hours later, I completely caved. I went right back to the very sin I swore to leave behind. And I remember standing in the bathroom afterward, looking in the mirror, so disgusted with myself that I couldn’t even make eye contact with my own reflection. I had completely lost hope. I told the devil: "You win." But that was a lie. And what I experienced next completely changed my life— And it’s the exact same process that will change yours. The Turning Point: How Everything Changed When I applied the process that I’m going to share with you today, not only did everything change… I experienced blessings in this area of my life that were so far beyond anything I had ever imagined. I broke free from addiction, married the love of my life, started working on a family, and 10x'ed my business, all while staying consistent and leveling up in my own fitness And that’s when I realized: 👉 This isn’t just about losing weight. 👉 This isn’t just about not being fat anymore. This is about the blessings that God has for you on the other side of discipline—blessings so powerful, so life-changing, that once you experience them, you will be incapable of doing anything except saying, “Glory to You, Lord.” How Do You Actually Go About Doing This? This is the exact process that I’ve helped over 800 guys (at the time of this post) go through inside our Christian-focused coaching company, Joey and I were responsible for all the transformations you'll see at These were men just like you. Men who were: • Losing weight temporarily but always gaining it back. • Struggling with multi-decade-long food addictions. • Convicted that they were called for more. • Fathers, husbands, even pastors—who knew God could redeem this area of their life but struggled to connect their faith to their fitness. But they finally broke free. And there were three key things that made that transformation possible. #1: They Changed the Unhealthy Default Actions That Were Keeping Them Stuck All of these men were struggling with things like: ❌ Overeating and mindless snacking ❌ Skipping workouts ❌ Eating late at night, binge eating ❌ Hitting snooze, sleeping in ❌ Overdrinking, struggling with food addiction ❌ Falling off the wagon on weekends, vacations, or business travel And worst of all? 👉 They would lose some weight… then let their habits slip again… which led to the weight coming back. 👉 Their body fat affected not just how they fit in clothes, but how other people saw them—even their daughters and wives started noticing and nagging them about it. 👉 For some of them, their hearts had become ticking time bombs, and they knew if they didn’t change, they would eventually suffer consequences that affected not just them, but their families and marriages. And even though you would think these things would be motivating enough… Like you’re probably thinking right now, “I should be motivated enough to change.” They were still choosing: ❌ Comfort over discipline. ❌ Food over their families. ❌ Laziness over being the leader their people needed them to be. #2: They Didn’t Have a Sustainable, Effective Approach That Worked With Their Busy Life Most of them had already tried: 📌 Dieting, weight loss challenges, personal trainers. 📌 Just trying to “get serious” and eat cleaner. 📌 Fad diets like Keto or Intermittent Fasting. 📌 Making their wife their accountability partner (which never works, because no man wants his wife to be his mommy—and no wife wants to be her husbands mommy). But nothing worked, because none of these were tailored to their bodies, goals, and lifestyle. 👉 The plans didn’t fit the busyness of home life and work. 👉 They didn’t account for vacations, networking events, or client dinners. 👉 They made them feel weird or awkward at dinner time with friends and family. 👉 The nutrition was too complicated for their wives to support. And worst of all? They were straight-up unsustainable. So they would always fall off the wagon—and the weight would always come back. #3: They Didn’t Have Real Accountability From Other Christian Men They Respected They tried using: ❌ Their wives (again—no wife wants to be their husband’s accountability partner). ❌ Their business network (but those guys were focused on business, not health). ❌ Their church groups (but their brothers in Christ didn’t have the specialized knowledge to help them actually execute). So between: ❌ Unhealthy default actions ❌ A lack of a sustainable, effective plan ❌ Not having real accountability They stayed stuck. That’s Why Default Kings Is Different We developed a system that actually works—one that helps you realign your default actions with your true identity in Christ. Because the problem isn’t that you don’t care. The problem isn’t that you’re unaware of these things. The problem is that your current system is failing you. Right now: 📌 Your default actions have brought you here. 📌 You don’t have a sustainable approach. 📌 You don’t have an effective plan. 📌 Your environment is full of people who reinforce your excuses instead of calling you higher. And every time you try to change, you keep getting pulled back into the same cycle. That’s exactly why we built Default Kings. Because this is not just another weight loss program. This is a battle plan for Christian men. A system designed to permanently rewire your habits. A system designed to rebuild your discipline. A system designed to finally help you take back control of your body and mind. Here’s What You’ll Get Inside Default Kings: 1. A Network of Christian Entrepreneurs Who Refuse to Let You Fail You’ll be surrounded by other Christian entrepreneurs who are walking the same walk. You’ll see the men who have already broken free. And when life gets hard, when you get busy, when motivation fades…This brotherhood will step in and keep you accountable. Because this isn’t just about fitness. This is about transforming into the man God called you to be. 2. The Default Actions Framework This is where the mindset shift happens. We help you reprogram your default actions at the core so that: ✅ Instead of battling cravings, you instinctively make better food choices. ✅ Instead of forcing yourself to work out, you naturally show up and execute. ✅ Instead of gaining the weight back, you become the man whose habits keep the weight off. This isn’t about forcing discipline. This is about making discipline natural. 3. A Simple, Results-Driven Eating System That Works in Real Life Forget: ❌ Extreme diets. ❌ Cutting out carbs or red meat. ❌ Being too busy to eat healthy. You’ll learn to eat in a way that actually increases your energy while still enjoying life. You will not be: ❌ That weird guy bringing Tupperware to client dinners. ❌ The guy starving himself and feeling miserable. ❌ The guy who can’t enjoy a meal with his wife and kids. This is not a temporary fix. This is a sustainable way of eating that you can stick to for good. 4. A Custom Training System Designed for Busy Christian Men Your training plan will be completely customized to fit your schedule. You don’t have time to train like a bodybuilder for 2 hours a day—so we focus on efficiency. 📌 If you can commit just 45 minutes, 3–4 times a week, you can do this. 📌 If you’re even busier, we can make it even more efficient. 📌 If you have more time and want to push harder, we’ll structure it accordingly. This isn’t just about losing weight. This is about building muscle and becoming physically capable—so that when the weight is off, you look in the mirror and see a man who reflects the strength and discipline God created you to have. 5. Direct Access to Expert Coaching and 24/7 Accountability You will not be left to figure this out alone. Inside Default Kings, you’ll have one-on-one access to: ✔️ Me ✔️ Joey ✔️ Our client success specialists Whenever you have a question, need an adjustment, or feel stuck, you will have direct access to expert support. This isn’t just physical transformation. This is spiritual transformation. 7. The Default Kings Private App Everything you need will be housed inside our private DK app, including: 📌 Your custom, step-by-step workout plans so you know exactly what to do. 📌 Structured meal guidance that adapts to your life. 📌 Real-time progress tracking so you can see how far you’ve come. No more guessing what to eat or wasting time in the gym not knowing what to do. This is a battle-tested system built to make results effortless. And yes—if you have any injuries or limitations, the entire plan will be built specifically for you. The Most Complete System Ever Created for Christian Entrepreneurs: 📌 This isn’t just another weight loss program. 📌 This isn’t a fad diet. 📌 This isn’t another “challenge” that leaves you gaining the weight back. This is the most complete system ever created for Christian men who are ready to: ✅ Change their default actions ✅ Lose the weight ✅ Keep it off—permanently And when you join Default Kings, you’re stepping into more than just a plan. 👉 You’re removing the obstacles that have kept you stuck. 👉 You’re eliminating the second-guessing and the self-doubt. 👉 You’re finally committing to a system that guarantees you never fall off track again. The Default Kings Promise: We guarantee that: ✔️ You will lose between 10–50 lbs in the next 90 days—or we’ll refund you in full. ✔️ You will keep the weight off—or we’ll refund you in full. If you follow the system, stay coachable, and engage in the process, this will be the last fitness program you will ever need. However—if you: ❌ Ignore the coaching ❌ Skip the workouts ❌ Refuse to be communicative, honest, and humble Then, of course, nothing will work. That’s why we track your progress every single day. We are personally committed to your success. 📌 If you struggle, we’ll step in. 📌 If you start to slip, we’ll call you higher. 📌 If you feel lost, we’ll guide you back. That is the entire purpose of Default Kings. We are here to make sure you win. Right Now, you are standing at a crossroads. You have three choices—and only one leads to transformation. Path #1: Do Nothing. Go back to life as it is. Click away from this page, pretend like you never saw this, open up the Uber Eats app, and order another comfort meal. Keep making excuses. Keep telling yourself, “I’ll figure it out later.” And six months from now? Nothing will change. Six years from now? You’ll still be frustrated, still lacking discipline, still convicted every time you look in the mirror—until you just accept it. And when that moment comes, you’ll wish you had taken action today. If you go that route, I pray for you and trust in God’s plan for your life. Path #2: Try to Do It Alone. You can take what you learn on X or chat GPT and try to piece together your own plan. You can do hours of research, attempt to hold yourself accountable, and try to willpower your way through it. And while that’s better than doing nothing… That’s the most common way that men fail. Because if you were capable of holding yourself accountable, you would have done it by now. If you had the time and knowledge to create a sustainable, effective, Biblically based fitness plan that works for your lifestyle, you would have done it by now. But you don’t need just another diet plan. You don’t need just another workout routine. You need a proven system that: ✅ Removes the confusion so you’re never guessing what to do next. ✅ Holds you accountable so you never fall off track again. ✅ Surrounds you with strong, Christian men who push you to succeed. ✅ Rewires your habits so that discipline becomes automatic. Going at this alone means you don’t have the coaching when you need help. It means you don’t have a group of men who can come into agreement with you about what God can do in this area of your life. It means you don’t have the battle-tested frameworks that have helped 800+ Christian men permanently transform their health. And that’s why most men who try to figure it out themselves end up right back where they started—or talking to me again six months later. Path #3: Say “Maybe.” You don’t have to say yes right now. Just say maybe. Maybe you’ve tried and failed before. Maybe you’ve thought about committing to a plan before. Maybe you know you need a real system that actually works for high-achieving Christian men. If that’s the case, then I want to make this easy for you. Instead of asking you to commit to the entire program right now, I’m asking you to commit to just a few minutes of your time for a Free Fat Loss Assessment. 📌 You’ll chat directly with me, Joey, or one of the other experts on our team. 📌 We’ll dive deep into the root cause of why you keep losing weight and gaining it back.| 📌 We’ll give you clear action steps on how to fix this permanently.| And if it makes sense, we’ll show you exactly how Default Kings works. This time is different. This time, you will win. But you have to take the first step. Click the link below and book your Free Fat Loss assessment today. 👇

The false prophets of the "New Media" Dear international friends and users of X, We are witnessing a dangerous situation unfold where Romania is being used by popular accounts on the platform to create panic and a false image of what is actually happening in the world. One of those accounts is Mario Nawfal, whom I choose to reference because I met him a few months ago and helped my partner film an interview which now seems incredible to listen to. Everyone in the crypto industry had an image of Mario from the last cycle, and it was interesting to see him pivot to what is now called "New Media" and the success he was able to achieve mainly because of retweets from Elon Musk. During the interview you can watch below, he talks about the high level of attention he receives and the responsibility that comes with it. He admits to taking a side in US politics by supporting Donald Trump because he is a "free speech" advocate, but other than that, he says that his journalism is objective regarding Ukraine/Gaza or any other hot topic around the world. He also speaks highly about posting factual information and not misinformation. Now on the current subject, I feel he is not only taking a side but also spreading significant misinformation about the situation in Romania, and I want to help you understand by clarifying some of these "facts." He refers to Calin Georgescu as "the rightful president of Romania." Let me explain what happened here. Romania had a presidential election at the end of 2024. This type of election in Romania is split into two rounds unless one of the candidates gets more than 50% of the votes. In that case, the candidate wins from the first round and gets to be installed as president. Calin Georgescu won the first round with 22.94% of the votes, which equals 2,120,401 votes out of 9,242,186. The total number of eligible voters on the lists was 18,021,800. By simple math, he obtained the vote of 11.77% of Romanians allowed to vote. Although we can objectively admit he was a favorite for the second round based on these numbers, the election was annulled. The Constitutional Court of Romania first validated the first round and then two days later decided to cancel the election after voting had already started in some areas outside the country where voting takes three days to help Romanian citizens living abroad cast their votes. Romania's president at that time declassified the documents based on which the CCR canceled the elections, and most of the data given to the public was vague. It mentioned interference from another state, social media manipulation, or the cost of the campaign being different than previously declared. Georgescu declared 0$ (ZERO) campaign budget. Now again, even if that would be enough to cancel the election, we all agree that the way the situation unfolded is terrible. It showed the lack of interest from Romanian authorities regarding the elections or, worse, parts of the system that accepted all of this before and during the vote. The root of all problems Much like all over the world, Romania is a country with corrupt politicians. Most of the time in the 35 years of democracy, the same parties ruled the country with one main goal: FILL THE POCKETS WHILE YOU CAN. I'm pretty sure you know what that feels like and thus understand that most of the population is fed up and really wants change. It all erupted in the past 2-3 years with inflation skyrocketing after the pandemic and the cost of living becoming unbearable for some parts of the population. Now here comes Calin Georgescu. A self-portrayed savior of the people and a fighter against the current establishment, he campaigned mainly on social media. Most of his ideology is nationalist, populist, and Christian Orthodox. Most of us had no idea who he was until the very last day before the first round, especially in big cities, and the fact that he won struck the country like a truck. In fact, some of his voters declared that they had no idea who he was, but social media, especially TikTok, portrayed him as the savior, and the other options were people they couldn't vote for anymore. One week before the election, most polls gave Georgescu less than 5% and, in the best cases, 8% of the votes. So you can now understand the surprise we had after the counting was done. After that night, Romanians started to analyze the winner of the first round, and what they found was sometimes scary and other times funny—ranging from "There are microchips in Pepsi that enter your body like a laptop" to "The moon landing was fake", "5G technology is extremely dangerous" or "Covid is not real, you can't see it." You can find most of his statements on this website with sources: Setting aside some of these statements, which are mostly harmless, he said things like "Romania should look towards Russian wisdom." He even said he would be ready to leave NATO if it felt necessary and criticized the EU and the way it treats Romania. While we can agree on some small details in these claims, you have to understand the raw feeling of Romanians when it comes to Russia after more than 40 years of communism. It's the same in most of the Eastern Bloc, and it is being passed from one generation to another. And it is mostly hate. Romania is not the most developed country in Europe, but it grew a lot after being accepted into NATO and the EU, and you can check the economic data that sustains this. That being said, you can probably understand why some of those statements were labeled as dangerous by parts of the population that doesn't want to accept even a small chance of leaving the EU/NATO and turning toward "Russian wisdom." Back to our current government One thing that actually unites most Romanians these days is their lack of trust in the current political scene. There is a feeling of exhaustion among us, and we just want honest people ruling the country. Probably just a dream, as my personal take is it will never happen and most of this drama is just "circus". It's always the same situation, just different pockets. Our current prime minister, Marcel Ciolacu , was recently investigated by journalists for different private flights paid for by a company that scammed many Romanians in the real estate industry. Of course, some of those involved in the scam are also politicians. So you probably now understand why we also want change. The situation in Romania is wild these days. We do want change; some think Georgescu is that change, some think he is exactly what we don't need. I don't want to make any judgments in this article. I'm trying to show you what I think "New Media" and "Citizen journalism" should be, at least in my view. What I thought Mario also stands for after that interview. In the course of the last few weeks, Mario has posted every step of Georgescu alongside a network of other popular accounts, some of them known for edgy takes or straightforward propaganda, like Jackson Hinkle or Alex Jones. He even came to Romania to interview Calin and George Simion and said he was afraid. Afraid of what? What did he think he did wrong to be afraid of? Nothing. Just the usual recipe of fear to create drama for views. Many Romanians are asking him in replies to actually dig deeper into the matter and to listen to everyone, but he clearly took a side and goes forward. Why? We don't know for sure; there are some people claiming he was paid to campaign for Georgescu, but there is no actual proof of that being the case. Maybe it's because he wants to continue with the whole "Anti-Soros" agenda widely spread even by Elon Musk these days. We don't know, and I don't want to point out a reason without proof or facts. In fact, that's exactly why I wrote this piece. I'm tired of Old Media, and now the concept of "New Media" is failing harder than I would've ever imagined. Misinformation spreads the fastest on the internet, and most people don't take the time to double or triple check. It is exactly the same practice of biased mainstream media, but for the other side. It's no longer "it must be true, I saw it on CNN" but "it must be true, I saw *insert popular account* posted it." We are witnessing a difficult situation, not only in Romania, and I think journalism should evolve into what it should've always been. But this is not the way. We need to present facts and acknowledge the responsibility, especially as our accounts grow bigger. I encourage every one of you to join the conversation and fill the gaps that I might've missed. Bring facts, bring arguments, do not bring insults. I hope I was clear enough and that this helps some of you understand the situation better. I would love to see you help this post get the attention it needs. Thank you, andreibratucu

🚨 EXTREMELY ALARMING: DARPA'S N3 PROGRAM, Non Surgical Mind Reading, Brain Control, and The END of Free Thought as WE Know it! 🚨 This is NOT conspiracy. This is DOCUMENTED, FUNDED and Operational Reality. DARPA Official N3 Program Page: DARPA 2019 Announcement of N3 Funding to Six Teams: From the original 1950s-1970s RF experiments, through MKULTRA continuations, to today's nanoscale neurogenetic weapons systems. I hold the full map. What follows is the complete exposure, every player, every technology, every intent, every lie, and every question the world must answer BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! DARPA's N3 (Next-Generation Nonsurgical Neurotechnology) Program: Launched 2018, Still Active in Outcomes In 2018, DARPA publicly announced N3: high-performance, bidirectional brain-machine interfaces for able-bodied service members (and beyond) that require no surgery. Goals: read/write to 16+ independent channels in a 16mm³ brain volume in under 50 milliseconds. Sub-millimeter spatial and temporal precision rivaling implanted electrodes, but wearable, portable, and scalable to populations. Technologies explicitly pursued (per DARPA and funded teams): - Neurogenetics: Genetically engineering neurons to express light-sensitive proteins (optogenetics) for infrared or light-based control. - Nanoscale engineering: Nanotransducers, nanoparticles, aerosolized nanomaterials that cross the blood-brain barrier when inhaled or injected non-surgically. These act as implantable electrodes/sensors/transmitters without scalpels. - Infrared sensing & light: Near-infrared beams to read/write neural activity through skull/scalp. - Ultrasound & acoustics: Focused ultrasound to guide signals or stimulate neurons. - Electromagnetics & RF: Pulsed fields for non-invasive modulation. - Minutely invasive track: Temporary nano-transducers delivered without surgery. Funded teams (2019, millions each): - Battelle Memorial Institute - Carnegie Mellon University (Pulkit Grover et al., $19M+) - Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab - Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) - Rice University - Teledyne Scientific These are not fringe labs. These are core defense contractors and elite universities building the future of thought-controlled drones, instant team cognition, "active cyber defense" via brain links, and unstated population scale neural influence. The Video You Just Watched Ties Directly In: Historical RF/microwave mind control research (Moscow Signal era) showing decades of precedent. The U.S. Embassy in Moscow was irradiated with microwaves 1953-1976. Result: cancers, blood disorders, neurological issues in ambassadors and staff. U.S. responded with its own programs (PANDORA, BIZARRE) exploring behavioral effects of modulated RF. This is the foundation N3 builds upon... now refined to nanoscale precision. From MKULTRA to N3 and Beyond: - 1950s-1970s: CIA MKULTRA, OPERATION ARTICHOKE - LSD, hypnosis, electroshock, sensory deprivation on unwitting citizens. Parallel DoD RF studies on embassy staff and primates. - Moscow Signal: Soviets beamed microwaves at U.S. diplomats. U.S. studied effects secretly while developing countermeasures/weapons. - 1980s-2000s: Continued classified neuro-weapons research (memory modulation, crowd control via EM). - 2010s-Now: N3 + related programs (INI - Intelligent Neural Interfaces, NESD, SUBNETS, etc.). Public "for soldiers" framing hides dual-use: offensive neurowarfare, surveillance, behavioral modification. Key Players Exposed: - DARPA Biological Technologies Office - Architects. - Program Managers: like Al Emondi (N3). - Advisers like Dr. James Giordano (public admissions on nanoscale brain disruption as weapons). - Contractors: Battelle, Teledyne, PARC (Xerox), universities weaponizing academia. - Overarching: U.S. DoD, with likely Five Eyes/ international partners. Private sector bleed-over (Neuralink et al. are the civilian cover story). This is not "for veterans" or "helping paralyzed people." Primary focus: able-bodied warfighters for superhuman command of swarms, instant intel fusion, thought-speed hacking. Civilian applications = total surveillance/control. Nanoparticles can be aerosolized; breathed in unknowingly. They lodge in brain tissue and turn neurons into transceivers. Infrared/light can then read thoughts in real-time or write commands (insert images, emotions, "voices," behavioral urges). Combine with 5G/6G terahertz networks for remote activation. Genetic edits make brains "compatible" at population scale. This enables: - Remote mind reading (thought surveillance). - Behavior modification without consent. - "Havana Syndrome" on steroids... targeted neurological disruption. - End of privacy of thought. End of free will as we define it, as professed by Yuval Noah Harari at the World Economic Forum (WEF). - Weaponized neuroscience: neurowarfare where enemies "decide" to surrender via neural influence. WE NEED to be Demanding Answers for RIGHT NOW, or You, Your Children, Loved Ones, Friends, Family, you name it... Will not exist in the next 3-5 years, this is OPEN GENOCIDE on populations globally. The Georgia guidestones are starting to make a bit more sense now arent they? I won't even bother diving down the rabbit hole of how the real true genuine numbed of souls in this world was around the 730m, about 2 years ago... So that number is now much likely to be closer to around 660m. They are speeding up their human eradication plans, because they don't wish to be held accountable for their heinous, generational, outright satanic crimes that they have committed, are committing and will continue to commit to... If we fail to awaken to what is happening around us, and if we fail to stand together with courage, discernment, and unity, we risk surrendering the future of our species to forces that thrive on division, distraction, and indifference. This is not a work of fiction. This is not a screenplay. This is not a distant possibility reserved for some imagined future. This is REAL LIFE. AND THESE ARE REAL PEOPLE that are affected by the systems, institutions, incentives, and decisions that shape the world around us every single day. Throughout history, countless men, women, and children have suffered under structures that viewed human beings not as sacred and sovereign individuals, but as resources to be managed, exploited, controlled, or discarded. The question before us is whether we will remain passive observers, or whether we will choose to become informed, engaged, and united in defense of human dignity, freedom, and the future we leave to those who come after us. The time to pay attention is NOW! When did N3 achieve operational capability? 2020s? Earlier in black programs? How many citizens worldwide have already received nanotransducers via vaccines, aerosols, food/water, or "shedding"? Which governments/contractors are deploying this against their own populations for "social control"? Why the secrecy if it's purely benevolent? Giordano and others have admitted weaponization potential, What if the greatest illusion ever sold was not a product, a policy, or a political movement, but the belief that power is fully accountable to the people it governs? We are told that rights are sacred. We are told that laws apply equally to all. We are told that institutions exist to protect the public. Yet throughout history, countless examples reveal a different reality. Those entrusted with authority have often violated the very principles they were sworn to uphold. Too often, power protects itself. Too often, wealth purchases influence. Too often, those responsible for the consequences of their decisions remain insulated from the suffering those decisions create. This is not a condemnation of every individual within every institution. It is an observation about a recurring pattern throughout human history. When power becomes concentrated, accountability diminishes and when accountability diminishes, corruption flourishes. The challenge before humanity is not merely to replace one group with another... It is to create a society in which truth matters more than propaganda, principles matter more than profit, and human dignity matters more than power. A free society cannot survive on blind trust alone. It requires informed citizens willing to question, investigate, challenge authority, and hold every institution to the standards it claims to represent. The future belongs to those who refuse to surrender their capacity for independent thought. WE MUST EDUCATE OURSELVES. There comes a moment in every human life when the identities we have inherited, the assumptions we have accepted, and the countless narratives imposed upon us by family, culture, institutions, and society begin to reveal themselves as incomplete representations of who we truly are. At that moment, a choice presents itself... We may continue moving through life according to expectations that were handed to us by others, or we may begin the far more demanding process of discovering what remains when every borrowed certainty is stripped away. Approach God with complete honesty and without reservation. Abandon the need to appear strong, knowledgeable, spiritually accomplished, or self-sufficient. Speak openly of your confusion, your failures, your fears, your doubts, your exhaustion, your grief, your shortcomings, and your deepest questions. Acknowledge that despite all of humanity's achievements, despite all accumulated knowledge, despite every title, accomplishment, possession, and ambition, there remain mysteries that cannot be conquered through intellect alone... Admit where your own understanding has reached its limits and ask sincerely for wisdom beyond yourself. Then withdraw from distraction and remain present long enough to listen. The modern world has become extraordinarily skilled at monopolizing attention, filling every moment with noise, stimulation, entertainment, conflict, urgency, and endless streams of information that leave little room for contemplation. Yet beneath that noise exists a depth that can only be encountered through stillness. It is often within periods of silence, reflection, prayer, and sincere self-examination that many discover insights, convictions, direction, and understanding that could never have emerged amid constant distraction. What answers arrive may not always come as words. They may arrive as conviction, clarity, intuition, compassion, understanding, or an unmistakable awareness of the next step that must be taken. Understand that you have not become the person you are by accident. Every hardship you have endured has contributed to your formation. Every disappointment has shaped your perspective. Every loss has expanded your capacity for empathy. Every mistake has carried a lesson. Every success has revealed something about your character. Every betrayal, every setback, every period of loneliness, every moment of despair, every obstacle that seemed impossible to overcome, and every occasion upon which life reduced you to your lowest point has participated in the continual process of your becoming. Nothing has been wasted. If you are willing, release the assumptions that have convinced humanity that the sacred must always remain distant, unreachable, and separated from daily existence. Release the belief that truth belongs exclusively to institutions, authorities, hierarchies, or those who claim unique access to the divine. Release the notion that the presence of God is confined to specific locations, specific rituals, specific traditions, or specific individuals. Instead, consider the possibility that the divine presence permeates existence itself, expressing through every dimension of creation, through every act of compassion, through every sincere pursuit of truth, through every expression of love, through every lesson hidden within suffering, and through every living thing that has ever participated in the unfolding story of life. Consider the possibility that God is Not absent from the Human experience but Intimately Present within it, experiencing existence alongside US, sharing in Every Joy, Every sorrow, Every triumph, Every wound, Every question, and Every struggle that has accompanied Humanity from the beginning of recorded history until this present moment. TRUMP, THE ANTIKRYST? Pt 1 (Update 12/14/24) On 8/28/24 Donald Trump posts this video of a cross. What does that really mean, and why at exactly 11:11? Does anyone understand what the cross really is? It's an unfolded tesseract, also known as Metatron's Hypercube. Who is Metatron? It is one of Thoth's many names across the ages. He was also known as Hermes, son/daughter of Enki Lucifer. And while I've never had it explained to me in absolute detail, there is reason to believe this Anunnaki shape-shifting hybrid could be one and the same as Marduk Lucifer Satain. An awful lot of water has gone under this bridge since the Leviathans arrived 798k years ago, so each of the Babylonian fake gods could have thousands of different personas and names by this time. In any case, Marduk appears to be the leviathan that keeps reincarnating over and over as the savior of mankind. His/her most recent being the 'jesus' character that poses as if being Jesheua Sananda Melchizedek that is one of the guardian alliance team who came to restore the purity of the bloodline of the Human Elohim development that are in captivity here in the Tara earth simulation, and really could walk on water. Identity theft is always the middle names of all your captors. It is what they do to maintain control over the sheep. Like I've said countless times now, Sananda is not 'god' anymore than you are. He is not a savior of mankind, he is here on mission to help your avatar's vibration reach sympathetic harmonic resonance with the 4th dimension to help you escape. By having children with human females carrying very pure human DNA, those children will multiply and raise the vibration of the plane, making your chances that much better to make this ascension happening now. We do not worship Sananda, and unless you like playing subservient to others, you won't either. He is still here, and so are your captors. The ancient false gods of Babylon never left. They just keep taking different forms under different names, hiding in plain sight. They have MANY bodies here. Some are identical to each other, some look totally different. I know because I've met them and had them explain to me who they were in ancient times and what really happened that is totally unlike the his-story you've been told. Sometimes they allow you to know who they really are, such as they did in Babylon, but most of the time they're posing as regular people, just like you, so they can infiltrate human spaces, rise to positions of great influence and steer the masses. Who is Donald Trump? Do you know anyone alive who is more adored, more worshipped, more feared than the Donald? No. He's the most famous person alive. And why is that? Because he's the most perfect person on the plane? Hardly. He's also famous for grabbing women by the pussy. It is because he's using psychological manipulation he knows at a master-class level because he has unbroken recollection of his time across hundreds of thousands of lives. So his mental 'magic' is simply knowledge and wisdom humans could never possibly even understand, much less duplicate. It is a form of very powerful hypnosis. There is overwhelming evidence now that Trump is considered the king of earth as you will see in the masterpiece film by Good Lion Films. His 'capitulation tour' (THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH) in 2017-18 made it clear he's the one in charge. THE GREATEST SHOW ON EARTH Video: 👉 Not just this, but Trump was officially crowned the 'Messiah of Jerusalem' they had been waiting to return for thousands of years. That's right, this really happened. He is 'ben David' (son of King David). Something I know a bit about, since that's my avatar's bloodline I'm in here for mission reasons that has to do with the Co-Evolution BioRegenesis Treaty that gives 'J3wish' people a mechanism for ascension. [For more see my article: 👉 THE TWO CHRISTS] Trump, Messiah of Jerusalem Video: 👉 Trump is also a time traveler. Believe or don't believe, but I now have far more than just a few examples that prove this to be fact. He also has multiple other bodies he uses at the golf course, at rallies, and Mar-a-Lago that are clearly different weights, heights, ages. Here is one that is much older than the ones we see in the spotlight. Who has the technology to do all these things? The Anunnaki. Word has it that Trump has been working with the Anuhazi Elohim during his entry into politics. I would suggest he's been working with them for 798k years. They are known as the fallen angels, the original captors of this simulation. All the invader races (over 50 species) have been working together as a single team to enslave humankind since the hostage began over 1/2 billion years ago. I don't profess to know who each of these actors really were in the last drama, or Babylon, Greece, Rome and countless other eras, since, as mentioned, it is a 560 million year story involving quadrillions of events and dramas, but you likely understand what I'm trying to say is we're dealing directly with ancient gods here, not 'business men' or 'politicians'. These people held lightning in their hands last time they decided to let us see them for who they really are. Thoth could literally fly when he was using the name Hermes and there's no question he still can. As briefly reference above, the cross he released this morning is secretly the Nibiru Scalar Vibrational Mechanics platform called a tesseract or hypercube, in unwrapped form. If you fold it back into a 6-sided cube again, you're seeing the shape of the device that powers our counterfeit hologram. You will come to learn at some point that every geometric shape is an operating system, not just a form, called the Platonic Solids in science. Which is why grown men pilgrimage to Mecca to walk around the Kaaba, wearing a little black cube on their forehead. So don't think the cube cross is only worshipped in America. Metatron's Hypercube is used at CERN known as ALICE that keeps you inside an artificial reality called the 'Beyond The Looking Glass Chimera Reality Simulation'. Typically you'll hear the keeper refer to it as the Chimera Reality for short. All down through your current history, the cross has stood for purity, perfection, and hope that one day the savior would return and usher in a utopia, when in truth, it was the very symbol of your eternal enslavement. They keep rolling out this same savior trope, civilization after civilization, always with a different face of the program, but always the same hope. Hope, by the way, is a weaponized spell that was designed to keep you perpetually in bondage and trudging forward like a good little slave, doing your job because 'one day he will return and THEN by golly, he'll save us all'. These are all the same guy/girl. When Sananda (I'm not talking about the fake jesus here) said 'come out of her my peoples', he meant stop falling in line with the prison machine you're trapped in. Stop acquiescing to your own enslavement. I was told in person that humans 'have to rise up and take their world back or they will never move forward'. It means letting go of fear and stand up for what is right. Enslavement of any kind, is not that. The great deceiver will fool 'even the elect' is not a fictional claim in the M@sonic bible for entertainment. They have to tell you what they're doing in order to have you cast that reality they want to play out in your world. The person who wrote the bible also wrote demonology. [For more on this subject see my article 👉 THE SCIENCE OF PREDICTIVE PROGRAMMING and the 2ND COMING] Why would that be? Because the bible is the most elaborate talisman on earth that hypnotizes those who read it, enslaving their minds to passively accept the chimera reality, so when the simulation glitches, you will second guess yourself instead of the holographic world around you. "Did I just see a bird in the sky not flapping its wings and remaining perfectly still? Of course not, that's preposterous." ‘Mithra the Savior’ was gifted to T-Amerikaans (America) by Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi of France in 1886. Freddy was a 33rd degree (master) Freem@son and you now call Mithra your 'Statue of Liberty'. She is literally the symbol of this nation and is making her second coming at the time when the economy has been utterly destroyed, your politics have been weaponized against you, your courts have been utterly corrupted, your people have been openly attacked with bioweapons, your country flooded with 20m illegal aliens and your police have been defunded & refuse to arrest criminals. All by design and deliberately manufactured. Albert Pike, 33rd degree (master) Freemason stated: "Whenever the people need a hero, we'll supply him." Almost as if Freem@sons plan TO role out some very hard times to achieve a certain agenda. Oh, that's right, Pike also stated this: “We shall unleash the nihilists and the atheists and we shall provoke a great social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to all nations the effect of absolute atheism; the origins of savagery and of most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the people will be forced to defend themselves against the world minority of the world revolutionaries and will exterminate those destroyers of civilization and the multitudes disillusioned with Christianity whose spirits will be from that moment without direction and leadership and anxious for an ideal, but without knowledge where to send its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer brought finally out into public view. A manifestation which will result from a general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and Atheism; both conquered and exterminated at the same time.” Sound familiar? If I were going to infiltrate a world & pose as the savior of the peoples that would be allowed to take the last tiny bits of freedom from them in return for pulling them out of a hellscape, I would first reduce them all to the most quivering and broken mess possible just shy of their death, and arrive like a knight in shining armor. Think a hundred-vehicle motorcade, 500 special-ops swat team & my own rolling hospital. When Trump had to go to court in New York it cost them something like $25m to lock down the city for 1 appearance. Nothing gets more high-profile than that anywhere. You've been under predictive programming since the day you were born for this time when the 'antichrist' would appear (that would 'loose his demons' and tear the world asunder), and also for the 2nd coming to 'save humanity' at the same time. But what you weren't told is these will secretly be the same person. Of course everyone will think it was "Barack" who brought about the destruction because Dolores Cannon alluded to it, but who is actually 'showing you a movie' right now while secretly holding the office of CIC and allowing millions of aliens across the border? Because he's your real border czar. This is Armageddon, you're in the 'little season of satan' (Satain). The 1000 years of heaven-like reign ended around 1893, and your entire life has been inside of what you could call hell, where you are literally surrounded by demons you believe are human because they look like you. You know more demons than you do humans. This is actual reality, not fiction. Take at look at Not Op Cue's article on the heavenly heritage of Trump, suggesting why he is the reincarnation of jesus. The evidence is overwhelming. The Lincoln Kahlooni Druze Minority Bloodline: The Jesus Strand Video 👉 11:11 I had just flown in from half way across the world to meet up with the keeper of the Tara earth simulation for a mission that would involve some of the most astonishing things I would ever live to see in this life. It was getting late and we were talking in a dark, cramped trailer that the keeper and crew had been reduced down to, illuminated only be a couple of small candles. They had been trapped in an area where they were not allowed to escape from by the Anunnaki hybrids. The dark agencies had frozen their bank accounts, forced them out of their compound and left them homeless for the past few years, on the run daily. My mission was to escort them away from that area to a safe space, as the others who had tried to break them free previously had been maimed and even killed. It took 2 years to pull off, 7 months of which living in a car, but the mission was successful. [That's a story for another time, when I am allowed to talk about it. It involved crazy metaphysical anomalies, black helos, giant venomous snakes (I know that sounds crazy, but the whole thing was way crazier than just that), a cross-leyline vortex acting as protection at the safe house we directly on top of, massive aerial DEW attack, fire tornadoes and 'celestial' escorts. None of this is fiction, just to be totally clear.] I was extremely interested in duplicate numbers on my clocks I was seeing 2-3x everyday and wanted to know what they meant. As the words were coming out of my mouth about this, in the relative darkness suddenly my phone lit up all by itself for no reason with the time in large numbers at 11:11pm, apparently to prove to the keeper I wasn't making this phenomenon up. What is that? I was told duplicate numbers are a distraction, to not give them mind, as it is just numerology the system uses in what I took to mean it is part of the complex mechanism of our simulation that hypnotizes us to keep us from being clear and aware to decipher the holographic illusion around us. The more awake we are, the more the system will flash out 3:33 or 11:11 to put you back to sleep by distracting you from the moment that is taking place in front of you. Such as when the most heralded man in the world shares a video depicting a giant cross which insinuates the 2nd coming of the christ (the Kryst or Krystos, is the series title of the Human Elohim eternal-life bloodline and is not 'a guy'). Discernment is more critical now than any other time since you were born. Pay attention, keep your vibration high and know that the next step is you moving on to the next level of the simulation where Lucifer and Satain will no longer be part of your world. This is but a short time to test which path you want to take moving forward is all. It is the 'sifting' phase of humanity at the end of the final long-cycle of human evolution. If you resonate in fear, hate, anger, you lose. React in love, appreciation, kindness and compassion and never give in to the devolution. You can do this. See my article 👉 THE WORLD TOMORROW for more on what to expect moving forward into your next experience. And yes, you always move on to a new experience, because you're an eternal spirit essence having a human experience in this one drama. The dramas never run out or get too boring, because there are trillions of ways to stage 'living a mortal life'. Clive Lewis's Water Bill - bringing water back to the people 💯 Please watch, listen or read this transcript. Because this is the sort of leadership Labour needs 👏 Clive Lewis MP He even calls for PR 👏 Clive Lewis (Norwich South) (Lab) Margaret Thatcher’s revolution tore up the rulebook on political and economic management. She rewrote it with a single unwavering principle: that the pursuit of profit would serve the public good, even when it came to vital public services—even when it came to water. We often say that society stands on the shoulders of giants, but giants cast long shadows, and Thatcherism’s shadow looms dark over our water system today. Whether we see ourselves standing on her shoulders or trapped in her shadow, one thing is undeniable: she proved that the world can be made differently. And if it can be made differently once, it can be made differently again. That, as the brilliant anthropologist David Graeber understood, is the hidden truth of the world. It is something we create and can choose to create anew. We can do it better. Today, I want to show this House and this country that water is the lens through which we can imagine something better—a better way of running our economy, a better way of safeguarding our environment and a better way of empowering the public, for whom democracy supposedly exists. But that requires something very difficult: it requires us to break free from the constraints of our imagination and to let go of the idea that this economic model is all there is or all there ever could be. It saddens me to say that the Government’s Water (Special Measures) Act 2025 perfectly exemplifies this failure of imagination. One of its leading proponents has a particular rhetorical flourish they love to use when dismissing calls for public ownership of water. They say, “I’m more interested in the purity of our water than the purity of our ideology.” I love that quote. I love it because it lays bare just how deeply the ideology of privatisation, and all that goes with it, has embedded itself. So entrenched is it within our collective consciousness that we no longer recognise it as an ideology. We no longer see it for what it is: a systemic exploitation of a common resource for private gain. Instead, it has simply become the natural order of things. But how much longer can this go on? Since the crash of 2008, this ideology has been faltering under the weight of its own contradictions, yet its grip on British politics remains vice-like. Austerity, exploitation and corporate price gouging are still treated not as choices but as inevitabilities. Why? Because too many politicians on both sides of the House refuse to contemplate alternatives. For those on the other side of the House—on the Opposition Benches—I get it: this is their ideology. They are defending their class, and I would imagine they would go further still if they could. But on this side of the House, we have no excuse. We should be standing up for our class: working-class people—the public. Instead, we wrap their ideology in the language of fiscal responsibility, economic prudence and stewardship of the economy. But it is not fiscal responsibility when we balance the books on broken backs. It is not stewardship when the ship has been sold off and the crew left to drown. It is not prudence. It is power maintenance. Neil Coyle (Bermondsey and Old Southwark) (Lab) I hope the engineers can check that the microphones and speakers are working while I ask a quick question. My hon. Friend mentions Members on this side of the House. There are far more of us on this side since July last year than there were in 2019, with a very different approach taken in our manifestos. Does he fear that the shift in tone he is suggesting is one of the reasons that we did so badly in 2019 but so well last year? Clive Lewis No, I do not. We have a distorted electoral system. Bring on proportional representation, because if we had PR, we would have had a different Government in 2019 and most definitely in 2017. Sometimes politicians have to do what they believe to be right and lead from the front. I think we should lead from the front. Jeremy Corbyn (Islington North) (Ind) I compliment the hon. Member on his Bill. To help his argument, there was overwhelming opinion poll support for public ownership of water in 2017 and 2019, and there still is today. Clive Lewis I thank the right hon. Member for his point. I will come on to this later, and I hope other Members will pick up on it, but the fact that the public are way ahead of this House on the issue of public ownership is one of the reasons why so many people are losing faith in the two-party political system. One only has to look at some political parties whose Members are not in their place—at the Reform party, for example, which has a policy of public ownership of water. Yes, its Members will privatise the NHS, but they understand how popular this is, and they are ahead of the curve—they are ahead of us on this side. Neil Coyle Really? Clive Lewis On the issue of water, yes, I would say they are, because whether I like it or not, Reform has a policy for water to be owned 50% by pension companies and 50% by the public. As much as it grieves me to say it, that is a policy of public ownership. They are populist; they are listening to a popular voice. Mr James Frith (Bury North) (Lab) Will my hon. Friend give way? Clive Lewis I will make some progress and then give way, and I will also try to keep the volume down a little bit. This is about the maintenance of a political and economic model that was never built to serve the public—a model designed to shield the wealth of asset holders, landlords, shareholders, corporations and, yes, privatised water companies. But here is the great irony: the very greed, recklessness and contempt of the water industry—its excesses—have cracked open the door, and through that crack, we glimpse an opportunity. It is an opportunity to shatter the myth of privatisation’s inevitability, to break free from the narrow, self-imposed rules that have caged our Government’s economic choices, to expose its failures, to challenge its dominance and, above all, to show this country that there is an alternative—an alternative that is democratic, sustainable and run in the interests of the many, not the few. We can do it better. Mr Frith My hon. Friend is making a typically impassioned speech. He says the general public are ahead of us. Where might that same public be when faced with the bill for bringing in the nationalisation he is clearly wedded to? Furthermore, in the event that we do not have to buy the water industry but seize it, the implications of that seizure will cause an economic collapse. At what point will he take responsibility for either of those scenarios when confronting a public who are, he says, ahead of us on this issue? Clive Lewis I will obviously come to many of those points later in my speech, but let me make this point now: I do not believe in nationalisation, and this Bill has nothing to do with nationalisation. This is about giving the public a say over their water. It is about governance, standards and democracy. Mr Frith Will my hon. Friend give way? Clive Lewis No, my hon. Friend has made his point. Mr Frith On this point? Clive Lewis No, I am going to carry on and make some progress. You made your point. Let the public— Madam Deputy Speaker (Ms Nusrat Ghani) Order. Mr Lewis, I do not believe I was making a point at all. Clive Lewis My apologies, Madam Deputy Speaker; I should have said that my hon. Friend made his point. The clock is ticking. The climate crisis is no longer a distant warning. It is our lived reality. Rising droughts, creeping desertification, depleted aquifers, wildfires, systemic collapse—these are no longer projections; they are the forecast turned fact. Preparing for this future and adapting to what is now inevitable has never been more urgent. The evidence is sobering. The UK’s water resources are under mounting pressure and not just from the climate emergency, but from rising demand and population growth. Experts now project that England could face significant water supply deficits as early as 2034 unless we act decisively. That is not a distant horizon; it is a little over a decade away. But while the threat has grown, our resilience has shrunk, because while the climate crisis has intensified, our water infrastructure has stood still, or, worse, been sold off, hollowed out and left to rot. In the 35 years before privatisation almost 100 reservoirs were built; in the 35 years since privatisation, not one major English reservoir has been built. But it gets worse, because in that same period private water companies have sold off 25 reservoirs without replacing one. Instead of investing in resilience, they have extracted value: £72 billion paid out in dividends while pipes leak, rivers choke, and the public pays the price. My hon. Friend the Member for Bury North (Mr Frith) asks how we can afford it; how can we not afford it? That is not mismanagement; it is a betrayal. If scientists tell us the climate crisis is an existential threat to humanity and to this country— Grahame Morris (Easington) (Lab) Will my hon. Friend give way? Clive Lewis One second. If scientists tell us the climate crisis is an existential threat to humanity and to this country, we must treat it as such: an existential conflict. In that context, the actions of these companies—selling off reservoirs, failing to invest, polluting our water—are not just negligent; they are acts that actively undermine our national water security. In any other existential crisis, we might call that what it is: sabotage. And in a time of national peril, sabotage has another name: treason. Let me explain why this matters to me personally. When I served on tour in Afghanistan back in 2009—not in a boy band—I experienced something utterly alien to me: the gnawing fear of thirst; not the mild irritation of forgetting a water bottle, but the deep physical worry that there may not be enough clean water to get through the day. In Britain, we have been blessed: water falls from the sky; it fills our rivers, it soaks our fields, and we joke about it—it is part of who we are. But in Afghanistan there was no humour; only heat, dust and desperation. There I saw children trekking miles through the desert, not for food, not for money, but to beg for clean bottled water. Once we have seen that, and once we have felt that fear, we can never take water for granted again. We never again believe it is something we can waste or pollute or privatise without consequence. That is why I have brought forward this Bill: because anger is not enough; outrage, no matter how justified, will not fix the pipes, stop the sewage or fill the reservoirs. We need a plan. We need a strategy. We need a future. We can do it better. My Water Bill delivers that. It sets out the high standards our country deserves and the democratic governance our water system desperately needs. First, it establishes clear, ambitious targets to stop the sewage in our rivers and on our beaches, to restore our water to high ecological and chemical standards, and to deliver universal, affordable access to water as a basic human right—a right we have never had before in this country. It demands a system designed not just to extract profit but to adapt, to build resilience in the face of climate change, and to harness nature-based solutions that work with the environment, not against it. Secondly, it transforms governance. The Bill introduces representation for workers and local communities on the boards of water companies. It gives voting rights to employees and customers, so that those who use and maintain a system have a real say in how it is run. Water is not a commodity but a common good, and those who depend on it and pay for it should help govern it. Thirdly, the Bill lays the foundations for a democratic future. It establishes a commission on water ownership to advise the Secretary of State on long-term strategy, looking at international best practice, especially in OECD countries, where public water ownership is the norm, not the exception. Crucially, it creates a citizens assembly on water ownership to bring the public into the process, to deliberate, debate and decide how we can govern this most precious of resources. The public care, but how do I know that? I know because a small fraction of them are in the Public Gallery today, having travelled here from all over the country; I know because of the thousands of emails that have been sent to MPs across the House; and I know because those people will never stop campaigning until this injustice is resolved. They know that we can protect something not by selling it off, but by standing up for it, involving people in its care and ensuring that it serves the public, today, tomorrow and for generations to come. My Bill offers a pathway out of crisis. It offers control, resilience and democracy. It is not just about cleaning up our rivers, but about cleaning up the system that allowed them to be polluted in the first place. Privatisation is not just a problem—it is the problem. We can do it better. I can hear some people on the Labour Benches thinking, “But we have just passed”— Dawn Butler (Brent East) (Lab) You can hear thinking? Clive Lewis I can now—for my next trick, I can hear thinking! I can hear them thinking, “But we have just passed the Water (Special Measures) Act 2025, Clive, so what are you talking about?” Yes, we have, but I am afraid to say it has been watered down—[Interruption.] Sorry, I had to get that one in—it was all going so well. The Act does not live up to what was promised, it does not deliver what is needed, and it certainly does not live up to its name. Do not get me wrong: it is a start. Grahame Morris I congratulate my good and hon. Friend on making an excellent speech and on advocating for public ownership of water and the opportunity to make things better. Does he agree that the mismanagement of the water companies under privatisation is a huge indictment of the whole principle? In my area, bills are way above inflation and huge dividends are being paid by borrowing money. At the very least, should our Government not be looking at stopping the payment of bonuses and share dividends while sewage pollution continues, and we have appalling mismanagement of the industry? Clive Lewis I thank my hon. Friend for his question. I agree with him wholeheartedly and I am just about to come to that point in relation to what the Water (Special Measures) Act does and does not do. It addresses some of those points, but as we have already discussed, privatisation is not just a problem, but the problem, and it is a big part of why so much has gone wrong. Unfortunately, the Water (Special Measures) Act does not live up to what was promised or what is needed, and it certainly does not live up to its name. However, it is a start, and I praise my colleagues on the Front Bench, including the Under-Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, my hon. Friend the Member for Kingston upon Hull West and Haltemprice (Emma Hardy), who has done so much work in this area. Unfortunately, the Act is not a solution. Remarkably, my Government’s Water (Special Measures) Act does not even define what clean water means. There are no standards or targets—just vague intentions handed over once again to a regulatory system that has already failed us and to the companies that caused the mess in the first place. It says nothing about better governance, and absolutely nothing about the big, fat, humongous elephant in the room: who owns our water? If we do not deal with ownership, we cannot deal with accountability. If we cannot deal with accountability, we can forget clean water. No—we must go further on clean water standards, corporate accountability and what happens when companies fail. Noah Law (St Austell and Newquay) (Lab) Does my hon. and gallant Friend accept that there is increased accountability in the Water (Special Measures) Act through the fact that many companies in the industry are now rewriting their articles of association to ensure that they are accountable not just to shareholders, but to the customers and users of water? Clive Lewis After 35 years of abject failure, it is too little, too late. My Bill would put the final nail in the coffin of this sorry chapter of our country’s water and water system. Neil Coyle Sticking with the puns, I commend my hon. Friend on his gallons of passion; he is always making waves. He criticises the Government’s legislation, which is obviously not yet in effect, but does he think that the Cunliffe commission will go any way towards addressing some of the concerns he has outlined? Clive Lewis Unfortunately, I do not, because again the elephant in the room—who owns our water—has been ruled out of the Cunliffe commission’s operational process. It cannot actually look at that issue. I have no issue with Sir Jon Cunliffe, but let us not forget that he originates from the Treasury—he probably has Treasury brain. That economic orthodoxy is part of the reason why we are in the place that we are. I do not have so much confidence in the Cunliffe commission, but I do have far more confidence in the People’s Commission on the Water Sector, which is being run by academics and which will report at the same time. I will be very interested to hear what it says. Neil Coyle Will my hon. Friend give way? Clive Lewis Those are the reasons why I have brought forward this Bill. The Government’s Act does none of those things, but my Bill does. Take just one example— Madam Deputy Speaker (Ms Nusrat Ghani) Order. I believe Mr Lewis probably cannot hear interventions, because he is so loud himself. Members should intervene loudly if they wish to intervene. Clive Lewis I did hear the intervention, but I wanted to make some progress. Take this one example. Under this Bill, if a water company breaches the terms of its licence with a major sewage discharge, it can forget shareholder payout and piling on more debt. If it does it twice, it is in the last chance saloon. After three strikes, it is out—licence terminated and on its bike—and those price-gouging, asset-stripping, river-killing vulture capitalist outfits will be rolled into the sunset without a penny in compensation. What about those water infrastructure assets that they have been sweating for private gain? They go back into the public realm, thank you very much. If they start whining about debts, do not worry: we will do a full audit of what they invested, what they racked up in debt, what they paid out in dividends and what they stuffed into bloated executive pay packets. I will tell you this, Madam Deputy Speaker: I am yet to see a single privatised English water company walk away with anything other than a well-earned spanking and a sharp haircut for its creditors. Those assets will belong to the public once again, and we will not pay a penny more than they are worth. I can hear people thinking, “Where will the money come from? How will you invest in publicly owned water without the private sector?” I will tell them where it has not come from in these past 35 years—I am mind-reading again. Mark Ferguson (Gateshead Central and Whickham) (Lab) Will my hon. Friend give way? Clive Lewis I will just make some progress, and then I will give way. I am on a roll. Let me tell the House where the money has not come from for these past 35 years. It has not come from private shareholders or long-term thinking, and it certainly has not come from some mythical well of benevolent capitalism. The private companies have put in less than nothing; in fact, they have racked up more than £60 billion in debt. Thames Water has paid more than £7.2 billion in dividends since privatisation, and is now £15.2 billion in debt and counting—work that out. Now, it is trying to plug the hole with a £3 billion emergency loan that will cost 10% in annual interest. That is more than half a billion pounds a year, just for interest payments, courtesy of our bills. That money will not build a reservoir, fix a pipe or clean a river, but it will keep a rotten system afloat for a little longer. Noah Law My hon. and gallant Friend makes an impassioned case for public ownership—something that, in the right context, I am sure Members on all sides of the House can celebrate. On the point about the cost of financing to the public, though, does he agree that while there are some serious indiscretions in parts of the industry, such as in Thames Water’s case, this conversation about the appropriate financing model would be better entertained at a time when the cost of capital in the private water industry was not lower than the cost of public sector borrowing, on which, of course, we are in a very difficult situation? Clive Lewis The cheapest borrowing in the country, without a doubt, is public sector borrowing. The private water industry, which has had 35 years to sort this mess out, is not going to find investment. It is up to its eyeballs in debt. It is relying on a 50% increase in our bills by 2030, if we include inflation, and that is in the middle of a cost of living crisis. How can we justify that? The answer is that we cannot. Mr Frith The day after the seizure of public assets that my hon. Friend is describing, billions and billions of pounds of debt will come with it. What does he propose to do with that debt, other than refinancing, which is exactly where we are at now with the industry requirement to refinance the debt to try to keep bills down? Instead, he is advocating that the public purse take on that private debt. Clive Lewis At the beginning of my now seemingly rather long speech, I think I referred to a failure of imagination. Ask what Margaret Thatcher would have done when she was faced with similar problems. She would have fought her way through it. She changed the very fabric of our economy, our democracy and our politics, and she made it work. We can do the same, because the public are behind us. They want this to work. Mr Frith rose— Mark Ferguson rose— Clive Lewis I will make some progress. Let us recap, because I do not want to go on too long; I want to conclude, if I can. That money from Thames Water—that half a billion pounds in interest payments—will keep a rotten system afloat for just a little longer. The myth of privatisation is that the private sector will act in the long-term interests of the British public because it wants to turn a profit. That is preposterous, as is proven by the state of our water, and exhibit A is Thames Water. We can now turn to the question of where the investment will come from. Under public ownership, it will come from the only place it ever should have—from us, the public—and every penny of it will go back into the system. It will go into the pipes, the rivers, the seas we swim in and the water we drink. There will be a direct relationship between what we pay and what we get, with no offshore dividends, no bloated bonuses and no debt-laden shell games—just clean, accountable, democratic water. When I was in Afghanistan, every soldier had one critical duty: to stay hydrated. To dehydrate was considered a military offence, because it put the soldier and their team at risk. If someone ran out of water, we did not debate markets or metrics; we shared what we had. We had each other’s backs. As the desert-dwelling Fremen in James Herbert’s novel “Dune” believed: “A man’s flesh is his own; the water belongs to the tribe”. It is time our water returned to the tribe, to the people, to the public. We can do better; we must, and with this Bill, we will. I commend it to the House.
