I never tear my bread & individually butter the pieces but I'm not so much of a savage as to be an air butterer. Oh the horror. 😱

What tosh. The golden rule with butter, REAL butter, is spread correctly, wherever you bite your bread or toast, there will be clear teeth marks in the butter. This, @JamesMelville should be a legal requirement, teeth marks or no butter. The end :)
