Don't believe the Tory spin. Ben Houchen has effectively been put into special measures over the Teesworks scandal. In 45 years of politics & public service, I've never read a more damning report about a public body and how it conducts its affairs. The NAO must now investigate.

Private Eye has been exposing this corruption for months. Maybe journalists working for a satirical magazine are better at their jobs than the stenographers working for the BBC
