Here's another interesting detail about fishing🎣 We all remember the scene in the novel where Shen Wenlang took Gaotu fishing. Then, in the October 20th live stream, they listed fishing as one of the three things they've done together. At the time, 🌲 explained it was a spur-of-the-moment thing. However, what makes this even more interesting is that they had already brought up fishing earlier, during the live stream with Lele. Right after 🌊 said he would take Lele out to play, he murmured "go fishing," and 🌲 nodded in agreement. So we don't know if this reveals a truly "spur of the moment" trip, or if it was actually a shared plan all along😌 Btw, in real life, 🌊's dad is a big fishing enthusiast 😉

This stranger sat next to me at the quiet bar in the Beverly Hills Peninsula lounge. We then spent the next hour “choppin it up” about fatherhood, our upbringing and the importance of the great woman in each of our lives (Rihanna and Neela). He introduced himself as Rocky. He eventually asked to make this video for my sons, betting me that they may know who he was, since I did not. All I knew is that I met a genuinely great person, with an incredible heart and mind…and knew that his Dad must be incredibly proud of him….I finally learned that most of the planet already knows this about this man known as A$AP Rocky! 🤦🏻‍♂️ Rocky, Thank you for the moments, connection and your authenticity. 🙏🏽 LORD FLACKO JODYE II Rihanna Music

Something very good happened yesterday at Nza Ozubulu Anambra State....My very good friend from Nza Ozubulu called me to come around that something good is about to happen that yesterday...Me as a jolly good fellow started car and ran to ozubulu immidiately...I got to his place... people already gathered and drinking..I was like OG wetin dey sup? Give me info before I join them drinking...He told me that he's giving Chibuike Ani Obi where he will start his own life....Tears comot from my eyes... Chibuike was a boy he picked up at age of 7....He lives with him till today...Now he's come of age and have refused to go back to his parents house..The father have come with his kingsmen uncountable times to take Chibuike home but he said NO that he's comfortable where he is....So yesterday my friend gifted him a plot of land at Nza Ozubulu where he will build his home and start his own family.... You see IGBO premium men? They knows how to make life beautiful for anyone that gives them peace of mind...... We all proceeded to the location of where the land is and the documents handed over to him.... If you like don't adjust your life and start living a good life....be behaving like Tinubu.

I stepped inside the shelter and asked a question most people never voice: "Which dog here has been waiting the longest?" eg The woman at the front desk didn't smile or reach for paperwork. She exhaled slowly, as if the weight of that question pressed down on her. "Okay," she said quietly, then grabbed a set of keys and started walking without checking if I was following. We passed the bright, bustling areas first-puppies bouncing with excitement, friendly dogs pressing against gates, that hopeful energy that makes adoption feel easy. But we kept moving. Down a quieter hallway. Somehow colder, even though it was the same building. The lights buzzed overhead I, every sound echoing off the concrete. "Most people don't come back here," she said. Her name tag read Maya. "I figured," I replied. She nodded slightly, as if she'd already known. At the very end, she stopped at a kennel that felt too big for the dog inside. He had that look older dogs get-not small or fragile, just worn down by time. His coat was faded, gray settling around his face. One ear drooped slightly, as if even holding it up had become too much. His eyes were cloudy, but not empty. They were still searching. Not for toys or attention. For something that mattered. Heaned closer to read the card. Max. 16 years old. Pitbull mix. Quiet. Senior. Overlooked. Notes about needing a calm home, soft food, patience-the kind of words shelters use when they're trying to stay neutral while quietly hoping someone will care. Sixteen. For most people, that number feels like a ticking clock. Max didn't try to impress me. No barking. No jumping. He just sat there. Still. Steady. Like he'd already decided he wouldn't beg to be chosen. Maya spoke softly. "He's been passed over more times than I can count." "Why?" I asked, even though I already knew. She glanced at the card. "Because people don't want something that comes with an ending they can already see." That stayed with me. Because it wasn't just about him. We all tend to choose what feels safe. Max was still leaning into me, and I didn't want to break the moment. The drive home was quiet. He didn't whine or pace. He curled up beside me like he trusted the motion of the car. At a stoplight, I glanced over-his paws tucked neatly under him, completely still. He wasn't trying to leave. He was trying to stay. When we got home, he stepped inside slowly, taking it all in like he was memorizing it. Then he came over to me. And leaned again. Just contact. Like he needed to know I wouldn't disappear. I finally unfolded the paper. If someone chooses him, please tell him he was a good dog. He wasn't left behind because he wasn't loved. Life just got in the way. Please let him rest somewhere he can feel seen. I read it twice. Then I looked at Max. He had climbed onto the couch, turning in a slow circle before settling down with a soft sigh. HOW WE MAKE OUR TRIPS MAGICAL - Cooking classes. In Mexico City, our guide took us to the market, then we all made extra-spicy salsa together. This is a beautiful way to visit places you wouldn't know about and get involved in a tactile activity. Perfect for families and older parents and very inexpensive. - The $325 underwear. We'd been traveling for weeks and needed to do our laundry. Our hotel, Aman Kyoto, would have charged $325 for a small bag of laundry (standard price for all ultra-luxury hotels). I said "NO WAY!!!" and we decided to go into town and find a laundromat. It turned into an adventure (as we stumbled into place after place that wasn't quite right -- one lady translated for us and said, "Are you trying to wash your clothes? This isn't the right place. This place restores kimonos"). We finally found a local laundromat, took our best guess if it would work, and went to lunch. Now this is a fun ritual for us every time we travel. Sometimes cheaper is way more fun - We hire a local photographer. We love our memories of our trips and local photographers know the best spots/time to take photos. Find the best ones on Instagram. In Tokyo, we use the same photographer every year - On complex trips, I work with a travel advisor. I used a larger firm for a 6-week trip across multiple continents, which was invaluable: They helped us navigate different transportation, recommended which safari lodges to visit (and in what order), and even suggested where to economize & where to splurge. Sometimes I know exactly where I want to go so I call a more surgical travel advisor. In the video, he got our NYC hotel triple-upgraded. Or sometimes I just do it myself. TAs are especially helpful for Disney trips, honeymoons, and multi-generational trips. (They also cost you nothing, but you should look into how they work. I find them very valuable) - 1 major activity every two days. The ultimate luxury is time, so we have a rule: 4+ days in any location. We also book 1 major thing (food tour, museum, etc). The rest of the time, we've pinned a bunch of stuff and we wander where we feel like that day - We know exactly what we DON'T want to see. When I'm attending a private tour, I tell them what I want to experience and what I'm not interested in. Most tour guides will take you to the usual hotspots because it's safe and people can say they saw X or ate Y. I know exactly what I want to see. For example, on a coffee tour, I told them the exact kind of beans I wanted to try and what I was not into. People in hospitality love someone who knows what they want!! This level of intentionality means you get to experience magic (it's not rude) I travel several months per year and I want my travel to be incredibly meaningful for my loved ones and me. We don't agree with the comparison that #MunawarFaruqui and #ElvishYadav game was like #IndiaVsPakistan. Although there can be an argument that #MunawarFaruqui represents a secular ideology hence he is symbolic of #India and since #ElvishYadav is a religious hardliner like #Pakistan but the fact remains that both of them are Indian and represent #India only. While #MunawarFaruqui's nature of love and respect for all is like an open book and we have seen so many instances where he has shown the traits of "Sarva Dharma Sambhava". #ElvishYadav also just keeps a facade of being a religious bigot. Elvish's bigotry is only for his bigot fans who are in huge numbers otherwise if you look back at his #BBOTT2 journey, he was as liberal as #PoojaBhatt or #FalaqNaaz. You must have seen him eating from the plate of #FalaqNaaz and flirting with her in a healthy way. We know both the ladies Falaq and PB hold strong anti-right-wing ideologies, still, Elvish was bonding with them well and showing his liberal side. In fact, there has not been any personal animosity between #ElvishYadav and #MunawarFaruqui ever. #MunawarFaruqui is a good friend of Raghav Sharma who openly supported him in #BB17. Elvish is a good friend of Raghav so it is possible that offline they must have been already on good talking terms. Why would Elvish Yadav just after coming out of #BBOTT2 follow #MunawarFaruqui? He followed him on Instagram and then due to backlash from fans he unfollowed. But the question remains, why did he follow in the first place? Something that suggests this to me is this stat: He started to figure some things out himself in isolation over the last 2 games against the Cavs. He had six isolation possessions in the final two games against the Cavs; he scored on five of those possessions and drew a foul on the other. Game 6 he started to look confident and really made them pay out of isolation. I really think a ton of it was he got hit with a punch early against ORL and really struggled to handle the pressure and struggles after, and just kept stacking and stacking. So, him being in his own head is #1 for me. #2: His handle got exposed quite a bit. In the regular season, he only had a 4.2 TO% in isolation, which is incredible. In the playoffs, though, that spiked to 20 TO%. On drives in the RS, he had a TO% of 4%. In the PS, it jumped to 13.3%. The first clip below shows how the right-to-left cross he loved doing all season was really taken away from him. Too loose of a handle, and he often got his pocket picked trying this exact move over and over. I think having his go-to move taken from him shook him a bit and left him scrambling a bit in his head to find a counter. The second clip shows, imo, him starting to lose trust in his handle. He immediately turns his back to the defender, which is what you do when you're worried about losing the ball. But, even then, he loses control of the handle and it ends up in a turnover. If I'm the Pistons, I'm showing all his turnovers due to his handle and working with him on tightening his handle and also helping him get comfortable with a counter/second move so defenders don't just sit on the right-to-left cross. #3: I think he really struggled to adjust to the playoff whistle. In the regular season, he drew free throws on 21% of his isolations and 31% of his post-ups. In the PS, it dropped to 14% and 11%, respectively. There were many possessions where in the RS he would've got free throws, but did not in the PS and he was frustrated. In the third clip, you'll see how physical he was being played by Mobley (which we all want physicality in the game). But, in the RS, he probably is getting FTA's here. There are many examples of this where it felt like a lot of his value during the RS was being able to draw FTA's on his drives, and in the PS, refs just allowed more physicality, and he struggled to deal with it. #4: Ausar-Duren duo. I believe in this duo, and I do not think this was the main reason Duren struggled. However, I am not blind to the fact that there were obviously some possessions that hurt Duren. In the regular season, Duen actually got less efficient when Ausar wasn't on the floor. However, in the playoffs, Duren went from 51 TS% with Ausar on the floor (302 minutes) to 64 TS% with Ausar off the floor (121 minutes). In the 4th clip, you really see how the lack of spacing caused a tough shot from Duren. He gets a step on WCJ going right, and probably would prefer to then just use his strength to create spearation. However, he sees Suggs sitting in the right gap off of Ausar, which forces him to spin left. Once he spins left, Paolo is completely leaving Tobias open. This is one of the reasons I really think DET needs a spacing 4 because this should be an easy kickout from Duren to a shooter. He still should've made this pass to Tobias, but a legit shooting 4 I think would relocate to the corner and make an easier outlet/easier to see for Duren. But, he still coulda made the pass, tbf. Either way, you see how the lack of spacing from both Ausar and Tobias forced Duren into a really awkward drive where he was forced into an extremely tough shot. I think if the passing returned from Duren, some of these situations wouldn't happen. Hitting Ausar early as he cuts into the space would work, or hitting Tobias (who again shoulda be making himself more available) beyond the arc results in better offense. But, also, having better spacing probably allows Duren to just get to his original move once he beats WCJ off the dribble. and lastly #5: He really just didn't play well. I can't include any more clips (I'll put some in the immediate thread reply to display), but he really just didn't play well. Missed *a lot* of looks we're used to him making. His touch around the rim left him, looked like he really felt rushed in the paint. He was struggling to secure rebounds after dominating the glass all season (during the RS, he averaged 4.3 second chance points a game, in the PS it dropped to 2.3). During RS, he had a 22.0 DREB%, which dropped to 16.0% in the playoffs. So, I think a lot of factors played into why he struggled so much in the playoffs. My takeaway is I don't think these things are unfixable; actually, I think they're very fixable. Experience of dealing with what playoff physicality is I think is going to help moving forward. All young players have to adjust to that--I think Cade really learned that from NY series to this playoff run. Tightening his handle and just having a second move to go to is not something that should be considered impossible. I'd like to believe it's pretty likely with how much he works and the raw skill he already has with his handle. Pistons adding a legit spacer at the four I think solves a lot and will make Duren's life a lot easier. The most concerning part is mental. And we won't know an answer to that until the next playoffs. Did this experience help him on his journey towards becoming mentally strong and prepared enough to move forward? Did this run help him find a routine that helps him lock in mentally, as many players have said they had to discover? Or will the pressure from struggling last postseason get to him this upcoming postseason? Will he let mistakes get into his head, compound them, and start playing rashly? I don't think the second option will be the case, but no one will know until the next postseason. Honestly, I'm more concerned and critical of his defense in the playoffs (which at times was pretty good and at other times was an incredible struggle), but that would require its own thread. My ending thoughts: I still very much believe in Duren. This playoff run showed he has areas he must sharpen up and learn from, but at 22 that shouldn't be a shocker. He is incredibly talented and made a large jump during the RS. The PS posed challenges he didn't quite have answers to yet. But another run of experience, another offseason of training, and another year older should lead him down a good path. I am fully supportive of paying Duren and extending him. I am not at close to 50 million dollars. 35-40 million is where I think they'll settle on, and I'm fine with that. But, he's gotta learn from these playoffs! Every offseason he's gotten better, I don't have a reason to believe Jalen Duren won't learn and improve again this summer. He's only 22.

Instead of just talking about it, I wanted to go through it and really break it down to figure out the exact reason for the difference in Jalen Duren's play between the regular season and the playoffs. *LONG BREAKDOWN COMING* First, lets list how much the difference was: Iso in RS: 82nd %ile Iso in PS: 21st %ile Post-ups in RS: 88th %ile Post-ups in PS: 59th %ile PPP on drives in RS: 1.18 ppp PPP on drives in PS: 0.80 Layups in RS: 79th %ile Layups in PS: 19th %ile It was a staggering drop off.
