Stranger Things didn’t end with a monster. For me, it ended with Steve, Nancy, Jonathan, and Robin sitting on top of building, crying because they finally have to admit out loud that life is pulling them apart. The hugs, the shaky voices, discussing desparate ways to stay close — I felt every second of it in my chest. I’ve been in that exact circle with my friends. We promised forever too. Some promises you keep, some you lose to distance and time. This show was my forever for almost a decade. Saying goodbye hurts more than I thought it would. Thank you for everything. 🖤
