Don't Disturb This Groove - The System (1987)

never knew this had a video

what an odd coincidence 😭 i was tryna hum this to my mom last week because she played it all the time when I was little and she didn’t know what i was talking about. this was the song. thanks

One of my fav old school songs. Even though I didn’t realize what it was about until I got real grown 😂😂was a kid jamming this song, and had no idea what I was singing

@lustforlife87 “Sexyyyyy Lady give me your number girl”….UCB had me in a chokehold with their GoGo version of this. Classic DC GoGo staple IYKYK 🔥🔥🔥

This one just cooked. The gritiness of the keys in the melody. The dramatic pause on the bridge. Dudes voice and look was very similar to another shonuff artist named O'Brian!!! The System had us rockin'!!!

Thought she was being cracked at the very beginning 😂

Some songs are truly Timeless and this gem 💎 is certainly one of them❗️🎤🎥🎬🔥🔥🔥

This song used to make the roller skating rinks go crazy in the 80's..

One of my mom’s favorite songs. What a classic.

Their biggest hit...☝️ but this the Jam right here...especially this rarely heard Spanish version!!! The System - Tu estas en mi systema (You Are In My System)

Omg the memories from hearing this song 😩😩😩😩

I used to think this guy looked like Miguel Nunez 40 years later and I still see it 😂😂😂😂

“Hang the sign upon the door…..” 💃🏽🎉💃🏽🥰

This is My Jam!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾♥️♥️♥️🔥🔥🔥

Fantastic song. Perfect synth bass, great chord changes. Love it. You can hear why they went on to produce a ton of early 90s acts.

I learned something new today…

2pac sampled this masterpiece with Lost Souls, it was featured in the opening credits of Gang Related! QD III (Quincy Jones son) really did his thing flipping the beat, into a timeless Pac record! 🔥🎶🔥

The very first cassette I purchased with my own money.
