@TRIGGERHAPPYV1 is clearly unaware of the 4th amendment of the US constitution. Cops can’t stop people & interrogate them just because they want to. Cops can only stop you if you have committed a crime. Road blocks & checkpoints are a violation of your constitutional rights.

The 5th amendment protects the right to not incriminate yourself. If anything, this is exactly what you should do.

Hi. 25-year cop here. In this setting, it’s perfectly legal to do this at a DUI checkpoint.

An unconstitutional violation of someone’s 4th and 14th amendment rights? No, absolutely do what he did.

DUI checks are just trying to normalize police checkpoints in and out of certain areas. This should be completely illegal. It’s harassment.

Biker used his knowledge of rights and got unlawfully pulled to the side. That’s a win and a possible lawsuit. He obviously didn’t drink and still got “lawfully ordered”
