The fun will always be there. The parties will always be there. The women will always be there. What won't be there is the time you have right now to set yourself up for life. Whether you realise it or not, responsibilities stack as you get older. Use your high risk tolerance and low responsibility days to set yourself up for life.

It's not a binary choice. You can do both. For instance in my 20's I spent a year backpacking around South America. That's a life changing experience you can't really do in your 40s easily. That doesn't mean you shouldn't focus on career when you are young too.

There's a larger point here that is getting missed entirely: why do we have to define partying and drinking as the only form of "fun" that matters or counts? Since when does that have exclusive dominion over the concept of fun? That's what needs to change first. Work on that.
