The CLP meeting was held, and the meeting unanimously authorized the Congress High Command to nominate a leader for the Karnataka Congress Legislative Party. After discussion, the High Command suggested the name of Shri DK Shivakumar as the new CLP leader. Shri Siddaramaiah proposed the name of Shri D.K. Is it just courtesy meeting or are we missing something? DKS calls on Karnataka Governor. But crucial CLP meeting where reportedly his name will be formally announced as next CM is happening at 4 pm. Then so much hurry to meet Governor? Is it some sort of making 1st claim in case of 'Uncertainty'? Is DKS getting ready to meet any 'contingencies'? Rahul Ghandy had said 'smooth transition of power' is assured by Siddaramaiah. But Siddaramaiah has also said he will remain active in State Politics & won't go to Rajya Sabha? What's happening really? Isn't Nataka in Karnataka over yet? I hope everyone gets what he wants... In interest of State!

The tragic Bengaluru Stampede which took away 11 innocent lives and injured 75 people is a direct fallout of the cold war and oneupmanship between CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar. Whenever BJP Karnataka talks about the brewing internal rift in Karnataka Congress, Congress leaders snub it as an internal party issue. Our concern was exactly this. This never-ending power tussle between CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar which has already paralysed governance and brought development to a grinding halt is now killing citizens. Who is responsible for this mess? AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge and Mr Rahul Gandhi must come out and tell the truth about the supposed power sharing agreement that is the root cause of all the mess in Karnataka.
