When doing this, remember to always have carburetor side up. Or your oil will run into your carb and won't start.

And don’t forget to sharpen the blade.

Pull the wire off the plug and secure, spinning the blade is like starting an old prop airplane it will start and you'll get a new nickname.

I have a quarter acre to cut. I have done that sharpened and replaced the blade. New spark plug, change oil. I'm on the same lawn mower for 5 years. And it runs fine.

A leaf blower? Hose it down, start it, engage the blade for 15 seconds and push it into the shed / garage. Done. Afraid of rust? Use it. Who are these people? 😂🤣😂🤣

I scrape the deck on this every time I mow, never skip it.

I bet that is even more fun when you own a dog.

Change the oil and clean the air filters too.

Cleaning lawnmower to that level is OCD stuff or strictlyfor social media.

They actually make a non-stick spray for lawnmower decks. Was thinking of buying a can and testing it out this summer.

Never lay a petrol mower on its side...

On our commercial mowers the deck flips up. Kubota even puts a handle on them to make easier. Doesn’t hurt to oil them in after cleaning either. Deck will last longer.

Yeah, no shot i am doing that....4-5 hours is enough time on the mower per session.

Pull the spark plug first, though.
