Every time I hear Dan’s name I recall countless HR calls that ended up being routine fly outs.

You guys are nuts. Chip is a constant jinx who brings up the opposing batters stats like its just waiting to happen. Pair that with the exhausting foul balls caught by a fan from such and such city and the time at the ballpark at the too of the hour if just cheezy at its finest. Danny Mac was a real fan and you felt that on his calls. I miss Danny like I miss Larussa. Lets get back to the heydays of the Redbirds

I’m just gonna say this… no. No no no. Danny Mac was nothing more than nostalgia but as an announcer he just wasn’t good at all. This call sucked. And many others along the way lol.

I don’t miss his DUIs.

Chip is good. Danny was born for that job. It makes me sad.

Danny is nostalgia. He was good but chip clears him. When chip and brad are on the mic I feel like I’m watching a comedy show with good baseball commentary

Not a big chip fan myself, Danny Mac was great, but we’ve always been a bit spoiled with great play-by-play guys.
