Scared me to death when I was probably in elementary school. The music was creepy enough ..let alone someone pecking at your window. I was afraid of seeing something in my window at night.

I made my son watch that movie and he laughed at that part. He then complained about how long the movie was. Keep in mind, this was one of the first times a creep little kid was used in a movie. This trope won't hit as had now because it has been so overused.
