Complete selection bias, this narrative is pushed to diminish black Americans. But the reason why is because America is selecting the top 1% of Nigerians (from Nigeria) and allowing then entry. You have to compare Nigerians as a whole and then how successful you think they'd be?

No one can deny the will to overcome poverty in America. However, most likely Nigerians don’t have the traumatizing history of America forefront in their minds. Their work is done in an effort to overcome their African decent. The bar they are trying to reach is much lower. If that makes sense. I worked with Africans and they barely indulge in the American culture with others. They are siloed into an African community…

I wonder why Nigeria hasn’t surpassed America then. Since their mentality is so superior. As he said shouldn’t they just come in and take it?

Forget Nigerians or Asian or even in America. Use Asian countries with great economic capabilities and it’s immigrants in same selection mode, and still African immigrants are succeeding more than Black Americans, so what’s the cause there?
