This group is Mulund Riders , Mumbai (I am a part of it). This campaign took shape after we lost a cyclist due to a rash car driver. We have done similar campaigns earlier also to create awareness.

🙏 surprised to see there are so many who believe cycles must be allowed on highways along with regular traffic. Instead of doing it wrong they should visit govt authorities for designated lane for cycles in their towns and cities

That’s would actually be great but you know how things work here. In Hyderabad there are designated lane for cyclists. 2 weeks back there was news that car tried entering the lane.

On the backdrop of one of my friend knocked down by a drunk Mercedes driver during the Pune Pandharpur cycle ride last Saturday. Pure luck that he survived with some major bruises.

I don't know how you do it. For me, I tried 3 times to cycle and realised that it's too dangerous.

Cyclist do not belong on the main road.

If bikers give 4 feet distance, opening car door should not lead to accidents. But bihere come close to one feet near parked vehicles.

Hmm .. Today one cyclist was riding her bicycle right in the middle of the road. St Johns Hospital junction... So 4 feet on side of her? This idea is great.. But cyclists themselves need to sanitise their thinking n attitude.. Same story occurred few days back on Hebbal flyovr

That cyclist swerved past the lane (dotted line) just as the car merged, basically faltu ka panga lene gaya. Just as is the responsibility of fast vehicles to be considerate of slow movers, the slow movers should stick to the left most section of the road. Hamare desh mein logon ko chaudhary banne ka shauk hai lekin lekin usse pehle gyaan ki kami hai.

India is unsafe to ride cycles. After finishing @IRONMANtri I stopped cycling and running. I just swim pools and open waters

Our @MORTHIndia road & transport Minister @nitin_gadkari says our roads meets international standards so we need to make provision that is separate lane for cyclists as well. Not a single city has it
