Don't make the same mistake and stop using your Skell all the time as soon as you get it. Exploring Mira on foot gives you the biggest appreciation for this world.

This is why I explore everything before getting the Skell, then explore only where a Skell can go without the flight module, get the flight module and finally finish things off. Don't care how many hours of mountain goating it takes.

So true, what makes the Xenoblade games feel so grand and beautiful is the sheer scale and the great detail within the world, and Mira in XCX is no different. Exploring on foot lets you appreciate it so much more!

that's how i did it. you first have to experience large parts of the world on foot or with your skell on land. finding out how to get up a mountain or through a certain spot through a cave give you real understanding of how amazingly handcrafted this games world is

Here is a tip for returning players like me, never rush getting skell. I'm still at chapter five getting the available companions and even explored couldron on foot at lvl 25+ lol I finally got Neil not wondering how I forgot to get Phog

I'm always going by foot when entering a new continent just to explore the crap out of it, then retrace it all by Skell, then going by foot again cuz I missed so many little nooks and crannies (Noctilum was absolutely the best example for this)
