Heading into clinic and just wanted to share a few things that have been sitting with me lately. Work hard. Work harder. Nothing works unless I do. If I’m asking someone to show up for me, I have to meet that with real effort—and I promise you, that’s exactly what I’m doing. I’m also reminded constantly: I don’t know everything. Just because I’m a doctor doesn’t mean I’ve stopped learning. I learn from my patients, my team, my mentors—every single day. When things get hard (and they do), I come back to this: have integrity. Do the right thing, even when no one’s watching. When I’m unsure, I think—what would my parents say? Can I go to sleep knowing I stood by my values? That usually points me in the right direction. And finally—ask for help. Be wise enough to know when you need it, and humble enough to accept it. That one’s taken me a while to learn. Thanks for being here. Just felt like sharing. ❤️

If you feel the wind shifting, I feel it too. This entire situation has been a shock to navigate, but I’m solid—because I know who I am. No amount of noise or pressure changes the fact that I am a woman who works hard, tells the truth, and takes care of people. That rain is falling exactly where we need it. The support has been overwhelming. Another day, another mass shooting with an AR-15. This is becoming too commonplace in America. This time at a Dollar General in Jacksonville, Florida. No, we don't need to "take your guns" in order to help stop this problem. As a nation we need to come to the table and agree to some common sense reforms. Yesterday, Tennessee Rep Justin Jones said: "We’ve spent the whole week here in special session and I’ve heard my Republican colleagues tell us that there is no issue of gun violence, and just making excuses. To be honest Jim, I’m frustrated, I’m emotional right now because America should be tired of this. "This is madness and we don’t have to live this way. And to see three precious black lives taken in a state where we have an asinine governor attacking black people — attacking black history — and then you have people making excuses, saying its not a gun issue when he had an AR-15. "I mean other nations have hate, but we’re the only that keeps having mass shootings because because of policy decisions. And we don’t have to live this way. We don’t have to live this way anymore. "Whether it’s a school in Nashville or whether it’s a Dollar General in Jacksonville, FL, this terrorism that we’re living under is a policy choice being made to appease extremists and the gun lobby. We need to call it out for what it is and we need to change this nation so that we can live free of this anxiety and terror and trauma." What do you think are some commonsense measures to help prevent this stuff from happening? Why can't we classify guns like the AR-15 in the same restricted categories as short-barreled rifles or automatic weapons? Even if it saves 1 life, wouldn't it be worth it?

Right now, it feels like the entire world hates us. France, Britain, Australia, Canada, Norway, Spain, and Belgium rewarded Hamas with a state after October 7. You seem to think this is about politics, or some “Jewish agenda” meant to exploit or silence you. It’s not. The truth is, our allies barely exist anymore, and we are being demonized constantly—even on your program. If coming to Israel only feels like a political issue to you, then please don’t—because for us it is far more painful than that. I don’t believe that everyone who disagrees with Israel is antisemitic or supports Hamas. And I believe you know better than to fall for that narrative. But I need you to understand: we are living through a continuous national trauma. Hamas is winning the propaganda war, and people like you—who once stood with us—are now reducing our greatest suffering into nothing more than a political debate. Are we really just another clickbait headline? The reality is that Jews are no longer safe across the West, and our so-called allies simply don’t care. We don’t need more lectures. Get off your ass, you are fat. This one’s for the fathers. For the older dudes in their 40s and 50s searching for that extra push. I was about to take a second rest day in a row. I never used to do that. But at 47, I started lying to myself. Started whispering things like “I’m sore” and “I probably need this.” No. I didn’t need it. You know what lit the fire today? I saw a fellow father (on my timeline) I actually like, on the beach, holding a beer. Stomach out. Tits thick. Just standing there. Looked terrible. And I thought, damn. That’s not strength. That’s not who we’re supposed to be. Beer? That’s not fuel. That’s not what a man drinks if he still wants to win. Thats a woman’s drink. So I got up. I hit the weights. Not for some vanity pump. For the future. For my kids. For my grandkids. So one day, when they remember me, it’s not a guy who gave up. It’s a man who kept pushing, looked great and played and wrestled with us until the end. Get up. Right now. You don’t need motivation. You need movement. Let this be it. I hope I inspired you, like the fat nameless man inspired me.
