I’ve seen my bag tossed into the air from the window of my airplane as I was waiting to takeoff.

I watched as our custom made Ping golf clubs went for a sail through the air as they were loaded into the plane. From that point on, we actually wrapped a few cheap bath towels around the club heads to prevent bouncing around within the bag.
