I have worked & played with electricity all my life & it needs to be respected! Limiting current with a very high voltage wont give you burns but will damage your body electrical system! A low voltage but very high current will give you burns & cook you!

I think both ways of saying it could be true, depending on the source of power. If your source of power doesn't have the ability to provide meaningful current, then the voltage will only hurt, but not kill. Right?

NO! I told you don't say it! Now you said it!! 😁 If the voltage is high, a certain high voltage will pass through your body. If there is limited current though, it means the voltage will fall to safe levels.

I was working on a 26" TV in 1988 & 10am was the last time I looked at the clock. Then I came round as my mum came home at 4PM. I felt really Shakey with headache feeling like I had been hit by a bus. I had pulled muscle in a arm & sore for 10days! That was the worse event!

Nothing kills Electroboom. Neither voltage nor current 😄

Unless the voltage source is current limited. A static shock from rubbing your feet on the carpet can be 100,000 V but there isn't enough current to kill you.

"It's not the voltage that kills. It's the current." "It's not the gun that kills you. It's the bullet."
