I love how their is outrage over airfares but conveniently forget that the MCG on GF day is full of seats that normally go for less than $100 bumped up to thousands of dollars because they are suddenly “corporate” seats!!

Great call TJ. The airlines do this all the time & then ask for traveller loyalty. Sport events, school holidays, Christmas… Impossible to do but wouldnt it be a ‘f&$k You’ to the airlines if all the travellers decided to drive instead of flying for the Granny.

Actually good point with the AFL Partner part. If they want to claim airline of the AFL etc, the least they can do is charge fans with a ticket a reduced / regular price if they show tickets or something.

Just buy the ticket earlier than the week before the flight. Is literally airfare buying 101. They sell refundable fares too. Could have easily been bought months ago. Lack of preparation is not an emergency
