What about the HS school coach? The high school coach has more time to teach the game to our kids. AAU is more on the fly teaching because of the lack of time they have with the players. It all done fall on AAU basketball.

Both things can be true.

I think it’s so admirable when guys like Matt Barnes decide to coach youth. He’s a great person to coach as well because he was not a guy who had the ball in his hands all the time. Lucky to have people willing to spread knowledge.

I stepped away from traditional travel because parents were too worried about winning tournaments no one would remember next year but also expecting results for the work their kids didn’t put in.

At the high school level it's a constant battle against all of this. Building a team when each guy is being drilled into one v one is a challenge. Getting guys to move without the ball, replace and fill on the weak side....the game is so easy. Move ball move body.

WINNING IS WHEN MOMS AINT GOTTA PAY ISH FOR EDUCATION

I wouldn't say 90%...more like 89.98😅

Some of the worse coaches played the game at the highest level

As a parent. My main concern is/was and always will be. Is to grt my child to college. Where your wings take you sfter that id on the growing young sdult.

This was my model when I coached.
