"Don't think there is something imminent. But we truly have identified the universe of items that are sticking points", says United States Trade Representative (USTR) Jamieson Greer on India, US trade deal, points to PM Modi, Prez Trump talks

Better late than never

you can't have a "trade deal" with a rogue declining hegemon who wants to impose 100% tariffs and openly saying won't let india 🇮🇳 become a future economic competitor, these radicals in US 🇺🇸 are jealous of seeing india 🇮🇳 and even china's 🇨🇳 rise, and own (🇺🇸) relative decline,

US-India talks and the progress so far are welcome. Amid threats of 100% tariffs, India has strong leverage through generics & Pharma, which supply nearly half the US market and can’t be replaced quickly. Raising export duties on them would raise costs for American buyers.

The deal may not be “imminent,” ..... but the message is clear: the India–US negotiations are in the final stretch, the key sticking points are identified, and both sides are working to resolve them. No unnecessary rush....India will negotiate from a position of confidence, protecting its national interest while building a stronger 🇮🇳🇺🇸 partnership. #IndiaUS #TradeDeal #India #USIndiaRelations #MakeInIndia #Bharat #गांधी_जयंती #गांधीजयंती #NarendraModi #DonaldTrump
