Just put a light on a timer. That way your lights are on when you get home. Walking around a dark apartment is not a great idea.

Also, don't answer your door if someone is carrying an Amazon package. They can get an Amazon box from anywhere, and Amazon leaves your packages without getting a signature.

Sad the lengths that women have to go to to stay safe. This seems like damn good advice.

Also, DON'T get a firearm to defend yourself. The police will be there in about 10 minutes or so (according to recent statistics).
