So important. I checked my risk and it saved my life. I discovered I had aggressive prostate cancer. Had the prostate removed and now my PSA is undetectable and I feel fine.

Thank you Bill. Your prompting made me go to the GP. I am now post radiography and on hormone treatment for at least two years. It is not a bundle of fun but better than dying.

The GP told me at 57 I was too young for a test. Now at 62 years old, I have stage 4 metastatic prostate cancer. Get your test done from 50 years old, it could save your life!

Had my 2 months of daily Radiotherapy; not pleasant but doable. A year of Hormone treatment alongside. PSA négligeable 0.025. 🎉 1 more year of HT. It’s worth it for you & your family. Get checked now.

My hubby was diagnosed about 14 months ago after having his meds review with our GP pharmacist and because of symptoms sent him for a PSA test coming back high. Biopsies, Hormone therapy and radiotherapy completed last Sept his 2 post PSA tests have gone right down. Don’t delay.

My husband was 60 on thev29/8/22 and he hasn’t been asked to go to any prostate cancer examination. What’s going on?

I Marched the Month in March. I was astounded at how many people I know had been affected by prostate cancer! It’s everywhere so please check on a regular basis! For those I’ve seen on here struggling to get appointments, pester the doctors with calls & emails. It’s your life!!

According to my father's biopsy result, prostatic adenocarcinoma was found. Age: 77 and Gleason score 3+3=6 (<5%) and last PSA result=3.9. Accordingly, is there a possibility that the disease has metastasized? Which treatment procedure should be applied?

Gleason 6 means all the cancer cells look likely to grow very slowly therefore it is unlikely that your father’s cancer has metastasized;an MRI scan would confirm this. Read more about treatment options here- Best Wishes the Specialist Nurses 0800 074 8383
