This is why @doordash should create a system where a customer who orders something enters a 4-digit pin when they order; and then the customer must also enter the same 4-digit pin in order for the delivery driver to give the customer what the customer ordered; confirming receipt.

I once ordered UBEREATS with a girl I was dating, not realizing the last time I had used it was to the address of a girl I had briefly dated before her who lived 20 minutes away. I caught it and reached out to the driver and gave her a $40 tip for my mistake.

I have had the same issue when you have multiple addresses if you’re not paying attention, you will get the food at the wrong place. I made an order that was delivered to a hotel room from two months prior, but I would never do that to a driver. I always owned my mistake when it came to my attention that I wasn’t paying attention to the switch that sometimes happens in the DoorDash app.
