1 ~ DIG X 🥀🔥 The first series I would to showcase is Dig X ~ from the early days of Tezos NFTs in October 2021, and our experimentations with storytelling, working within the ultra low-fi platform Hic Et Nunc and its retro minimalist functionality; we discovered we could bury treasures for them to find. As @Kopfgestaltung and I were carving away at the Tablets drop based on Michelangelo’s Moses, we had the crazy thought ~ what if Moses’ tablets were to slip and smash into fragments on the ground and each one would represent one of the Ten Commandments. Then each Fragment would drop in secret on HEN in collaboration with other artists whose work would fit the classic theme and people would have to follow the clues to find it, like an archeological dig... It’s was a wild ten days and I’m very proud to now present the first ever NFT collaborative series dropped entirely in secret ~ DIG X in full! The first piece is Tablets by @Kopfgestaltung & myself. Today, we take this art form a step further to bring to the digital art space what we call “Cinematic Fine Art” Starring Val Kilmer, as conceived by Henrik Uldalen, and performed by Laurence Fuller, “My Edens After Burns” illustrates this cinematic notion through point cloud special effects by Ruben Fro, and the interpretation by artists Henrik Uldalen, Tania Rivilis, Goldcat, Jeremy Lipking, and Ksenia Buridanova, of a story written by Val Kilmer & Laurence Fuller. The Story One morning in 1783 and at the dusk of America’s Revolutionary war a young lady, named Lovie, peers out into the prairie waiting for her husband to return home from battle. A portrait by the virtuoso painter and one of America’s premier realist artists Jeremy Lipking, is dissolved in point cloud vibrations by the maverick special affects artist Ruben Fro. The story is narrated to us by classically trained actor Laurence Fuller, who recites the words written by himself and one of cinema’s most iconic figures ~ Val Kilmer. But what comes galloping up from the horizon was not her beloved but his fellow soldier, delivering an envelope stained with a drop of blood. Predicting the worst Lovie jumps on her horse and gallops into the valley, dust kicking up around her, she can’t think of anything but to escape. The animated painting by Tania Rivilis beautifully captures the high emotional tones of the piece. The horse’s neigh the only thing which rivaled her cry of pain. She rides all day, tears streaming down her face. Until exhausted she settles by a camp fire and takes out she envelope left to her. About to read she’s interrupted by a familiar voice, the ghost of her husband Samuel. Val Kilmer depicted as the ghost traveling back from a journey through the afterlife to visit Lovie for one last rendezvous. Val Kilmer is masterfully portrayed as the ghost of Samuel, by the celebrated Neo-Classical painter Henrik Uldalen. ~ “And though each second for me is like a thousand years, my love, your face for me is so clear.” As night sets in and the ghost takes Lovie on a poetic journey through the afterlife ~ through poetry written by Val Kilmer and the magical realism of Ksenia Buridanova portrait with butterflies. Explosions of beauty and sorrow light up the night sky over the forest. In the final chapter, Samuel tells Lovie of his experience from beyond, the things he has seen and journey his journey through night. And as the chapter comes to a close, from the darkness we hear the voice of our narrator and the last message of Lovie’s husband. The expressive digital painting by Goldcat (Christie’s 3.0) is a fitting climatic ending to this Romantic story. The Dissolving Paintings series by Ruben Fro has deep roots in the web3 art world ~ becoming an iconic staple of the art in Tezos ecosystem. Interpreting classic masterpieces with point cloud special effects that Ruben was widely known for from his collaborations with Snoop Dogg, Pussy Riot and Michael Bay. 3 ~ Take The Throne was born out of an interest in strategy ~ and sportsmanship within art ♟️🔥 There is a timeless quality to chess ~ the analogue battles the players act out between themselves and from within represents a spirit of independence, strength and free will. Challenging a person’s capacity for conquest or merely a dialogue in the language of options the board presents is a fascinating place to begin a story. I was first taught how to play chess as a boy by my grandfather and then later at the chess club at school I was taught by a Russian Chess Master, I remember looking deeply at a marble chess set which was hand carved from the the pieces to the edges of the board ~ and imagining the life of the characters. Everyone who acquired the full set of six pieces was entered into a chess tournament ~ the winner of which was airdropped 1/1 of The King. At the moment we run weekly spaces with my co-host @TocoDeco where we challenge an AI artist to adapt the subject matter of a Take The Throne Wizard for a curated drop ~ meanwhile valiant combatants go head to head in nailbiting chess games to win art ♟️🔥 3/14 🧵

7 ~ City Nightmares 🥀🔥 Hello? Hello?! On the other end of an empty telephone a man’s voice is heard ~ as he runs through the empty streets a nightmare unfolds. A thrilling poetic art film, by Laurence Fuller follows a man thrust deep into his own nightmare. With no way out, he must confront the spirals in his own shadows. Crayon dinosaurs chew through cardboard, Cut outs of that perfect image of love that doesn’t exist. It all fell apart and there was nothing left but a giant crab in an existential crisis. Off to the night watchers and their dangerous party fancies, Off to the street that heaves in disappointed angry daggers, Off to that destructive force that makes you wonder why you were ever really here. Some stupid complacency inspires me to stare into colors of my nightmares, I’m burdened by this right to know myself, On the darkest level Through the safest objects, Growling midnight demons of my spirit prowling, in an open dark forest. She inspired the best parts of me by hunting my nightmares, And there I stuck like a petulant child, Until absence forced my will to act. There was once a chance to be what I believe, Climb the heights of Paradise and never once concede The thunder of youth brought me to my knees and now I lay in a cradle of leaves. Give me back to the first soil, Emboldened in the fresh oil, The swirling stuff of life, The rose in my heart and the toil in my eyes. When I thought I was immortal, I told the buried book in the garden of lies, That this is my art, And the rose burst into the skies, The fruit of life rots and falls from the branches, I fell asleep under the destiny of the banished. The art world has been around Laurence his whole life through his late father the art critic Peter Fuller and painter mother Stephanie Fuller, he worked at a number of galleries and auction houses while auditioning. The deeper he dug into his late father’s writing he discovered what he really wanted was to be a poet, and his love for the poet / art critic Baudelaire and the Romantics. Laurence went on his own journey with autobiographical poetry inspired by his training in the classics, paintings and visual art. But it wasn’t until the digital art movement in web3 that allowed Laurence to combine his love for cinema, poetry, performance and art history into a single practice.

12 ~ Emerald Nest 🥀🔥 x @Kx________ (Drops later this week on Manifold) When William Shakespeare coined the phrase “Green-Eyed Monster” in his seminal play Othello, it quickly became common vernacular for centuries to come. Today we extend the metaphor to the Emerald Nest. A dark fable about converting another’s nest and the eggs therein. Web3 can stir intense emotions surrounding the acquisition of precious treasures and we should never shy from exploring such truths artistically.
