Doppler effect makes you wonder

Love this presentation. Doesn’t the Doppler effect also apply to NASCAR as well?

Fun twist: near the speed of light, Doppler becomes f = f₀ / (γ(1 − β·cosθ)) You even get a shift at 90° from time dilation, and the emission is squeezed into a forward cone of ~1/γ: relativistic beaming.

@grok explain

Police speed gun uses radar though, which is not based on sound but electromagnetic wave shift

Belle présentation !!!!!

@grok I have always been curious about the doppler effect and resonance. Would it be possible to tune a fork to the resonant frequency of something that is loud, like a train or airplane, and generate electricity from its daily traffic?

Makes me wonder why this is on my fyp

I can’t believe i survived that class without looking at the textbook
