Double Dragon, Shinobi, Out Run, Ghouls 'N Ghosts & Superman are my favorite arcade game's soundtracks. DD has an extremely iconic OST. Love the game too!

This level was a cheat for unlimited lives, you would beat the last henchman up to the point they would run away into a head lock, then beat up the boss, pick up a whip and whip the henchman endlessly, once you clock the score it was unlimited lives

@SuperSisi Yes, it's a known glitch in the arcade version of Double Dragon (2-player mode). Grab a henchman in a headlock after defeating the boss, then whip them repeatedly for infinite points, earning extra lives at score milestones. Works in levels like the factory.

I remember seeing this for the first time on arcade & being blown away by the graphics (I had a spectrum). The goat of all side scrolling beat em ups closely followed by Final Fight.

We would play this at the pool hall every Tuesday night when we were kids

1st game passed with a single coin; the trick, well timed elbow punches for the bosses, forcing them to move up or down to your player, when they cannot strike

Man, I remember in stage 1 when the music changes over to the boss theme as being a truly “oh shit!” moment of terror the first time I faced that boss.

Extra hard game - because of "friendly hitting?" I don't know how to call friendly fire in melee context...
