Very bad take. It’s useful for many reasons. Example: It’s a way to see whether or not the “open air prison” was real or not- which it wasn’t. It goes to the depth of the understanding in this case. Doesn’t have to happen but it helps. It’s another data point. Personal experience fills in gaps or can challenge the narrative that Smith has digested.

Perfectly said, and I agree. Watched it last night, and the obvious elitism oozing out of Murray was a turnoff. So bad were some of his arguments that I started fast forwarding to Dave Smith so I could hear his down to earth and interesting opinions. That is not to say I agree 100% with Dave, but he at least argued his points.
