Douglas Murray has a point 👏🏻 If their religion is so great and it’s the final word, why do they live the way they do?

History of the Hissing Curse 1 Kings 9:8 KJV And at this house, which is high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?

It's all about controlling the people! If mass amounts of people are controlled, it's easier to achieve other objectives! Religion was one of the earliest systems of control! An easy way to control people is to use fear! Thus, religion was born!

@BeSeriousBertie Douglas Murray always has a point and he gets it across so well too. He'd make a great politician since he's such a good orator.

Meanwhile, Mrs Deputy Leader of Reform UK has migrated to a Muslim country where everything "works" while Britain is "broken." As for Douglas Monkeypox, the only part of the Muslim world he's drawn to is occupied Palestine, where nuns get spat at, mosques and churches bombed and shot at, babies get buried alive and butchered; where Rabbis sanctify the right of non-Jewish children and men to be rāped, and Jesus' alleged boiling eternally in excrement they celebrate.

Because it isn’t God’s final word and if inspired by anything it was Satan

nails it. If Islam, as interpreted by the Islamists, truly produced a superior civilisation, their countries would be the envy of the world. But they aren't. They're riddled with corruption, poverty, oppression, violence, and stagnation. Millions are desperate to escape them - risking their lives to reach the very secular, liberal, "infidel" societies they claim to despise. Look at the Islamic world today: where are the flourishing democracies? Where is the scientific innovation, the cultural leadership, the human rights record that rivals the West? You won't find it - because Islamist ideology stifles freedom, punishes individual thought, degrades women, persecutes minorities, and replaces enterprise with fatalism. And yet, they flood into Western countries, not to embrace the systems that gave us prosperity, freedom, and stability - but to exploit them while demanding the imposition of the very beliefs that wrecked their own homelands. It's hypocrisy of the highest order. They want Western benefits without Western values. They want the infrastructure, the welfare, the medical care - but not the freedoms, responsibilities, or cultural foundations that created them. If Sharia law, as they champion it, was so perfect, their own countries would be paradise on earth. Instead, they are defined by authoritarian rule, sectarian violence, economic failure, and mass emigration. They flee what they built - and then try to rebuild it here. And Western leaders, too cowardly or corrupt to say no, allow it. Douglas Murray simply points out what millions know instinctively but are bullied into silence about: if your system worked, you wouldn't be running from it. And the West needs to wake up to that basic, brutal truth - before it’s too late. "They flee what they built - and then try to rebuild it here."

“live the way they do” How do they live? So funny to see the irony and complete lack of awareness in these 13th century comments.
