America was neutral during World War II until it was attacked. Many countries remained neutral until the war directly reached them. Ireland was never attacked, so Ireland remained neutral. It really is that simple.

Saying the irish never did anything to help the jews in the past is very dishonest framing. Douglas country ruled and operated ireland for nearly a thousand years. So if the irish didn't do anything in that time, its because his country said so. How can we be under occupation without sovereignty, a government, or an army and do somthing to help the jews? What's happening in the isreal/Palestine conflict right now, doesnt compare to what happened during England's occupation of Ireland, but Murray is crying we didn't help? My great grandfather was half Irish half British and was killed in WW1 (gassed) by the Nazis fighting on the British side. He was one of about 1500 airish regiment who succumbed to respiratory failure from mustard gas. We don't all hate Israel. Our lefty politicians are nuts

As much as I’d love for what he claimed to be true actually be true. It isn’t. Ireland in the 30s and 40s was only a decade and a half into its independence, off a civil war, off 800 years of oppression from the British. Rebuilding the country and still the Irish in WW2 -
