Facts: Under worldwide pressure Israel fully withdrew from Gaza in 2005, no settlements, no troops. Just months later, Palestinians voted Hamas into power. Hamas’s own charter called for Israel’s destruction by jihad. What happened was predictable. By 2007 Iran-backed Hamas seized total control and turned Gaza into a terror launchpad. They didn’t build a state. They built October 7. That’s why the “two-state solution” was effectively tried and died in Gaza.
