He didn’t smear anyone. He described a documented political movement with its own words, history, and objectives. And while CAIR cries to the media, Texas has moved in the opposite direction. Texas has formally recognized the Muslim Brotherhood and CAIR as extremist-aligned foreign influence networks under state authority, cutting through decades of denial and narrative manipulation. Those actions were not driven by “Islamophobia,” but by evidence, federal court records, and national-security concerns CAIR has never been able to answer. So CAIR can cry harder. They always do. But Americans see what’s happening and they are proud of leaders like Chip Roy who are finally willing to say what others won’t, defend the Constitution, and draw a line where it matters.
