The Otjiwarongo State Hospital is asking the public for assistance in identifying a male patient who has been hospitalised for nearly two months. The man, who is now in stable condition, suffers from memory loss after sustaining a head injury about four months ago. Dr. Nelson Johannes, senior medical officer at the hospital, said the patient was initially treated at Katutura State Hospital in Windhoek for two months before being transferred to Otjiwarongo. Although he occasionally speaks, his statements are unclear. He has given two different names: 'Daniel Kandafi' and 'Johnny Angeni' and is fluent in Oshiwambo.
