Despite the "D" I had by my name, West Virginians knew I would always vote in the best interests of my state, not a political party. More and more people feel like neither of the two major political parties are in tune with the issues that everyday Americans are facing. The parties continue to reward bad behavior and lead from the extremes — even though Americans are asking for sensible leadership.
