Submitted in our DM’s: “In Edmonton I was behind a guy who was turning, but he apparently turned the wrong way, decided to reverse, and ended up hitting my car. I honked for him to stop, but he didn’t and just drove off, so we decided to follow him to his house. When we got there, we politely asked for his insurance and license, even after having to chase him down, but he refused—despite there being scratches on the car and even admitting in the video that he hit us. That’s when he completely lost it and started calling us Filipino cunts lol 🤣”

Someone should tell Rigathi Gachagua that I have a very functional brain and a remarkably clear memory that makes me lack sleep many days when I remember the atrocities that he conducted in the 1990s when he served in the Provincial Administration. I equally remember meeting him at State House, Kabarak, where President Daniel arap Moi warned him against humiliating and mistreating the very people he had been entrusted to serve. Gachagua should also be reminded that I started voting in 1969, when I voted for Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, and I voted for him again in 1974. When President Moi took over in 1978, I supported and voted for him throughout his presidency. Moi never lost an election, and I stood firmly with him as a member of KANU, a party to which I remain a member to this day. In 2007, I voted for Raila Odinga, who won the election but was rigged out. Indeed, Raila's ODM emerged as the largest party in Parliament after that election. It is, therefore, ignorance of the highest order for Gachagua to claim that, “If Atwoli supports you, you cannot win.” But I excuse him as he was born the other day politically and has no deep understanding of Kenya's political history. While Gachagua has only participated extensively in national politics, in 2022, some of us have been in this game since the formative years of this Republic. And if he wants to know what politics really is, he should wait for next year. WE WILL TEACH HIM! SHENZI SANA!

We waited for one and a half hours, but then he left without meeting us. He is an army officer's son, but he still did so... I am raising my voice just because my son said that he would not stay in this country as it is not worth staying. I had to prove to him that justice would be given... Then, we went to meet the governor, and he had tears in his eyes when I spoke to him and when I showed him the pictures and the brutality. He called the DGP and told him that FIR is my right with all the names and to please do what is needed. The governor then told us that if the FIR is not registered, we should get back to him. I want to thank the governor for standing up with us. I came to know through the media that SSP Nanak Singh had said that a magisterial inquiry had been set up, but the FIR could not be changed... Today, when everyone was standing up with me, all the politicians started calling me, but I didn't pick up a single call as this was not a political fight. They cannot say that we were under the influence of alcohol as it is there in the (medical) report of a government hospital... A police inspector told me that we cannot add the names of some police personnel in the FIR as they have been awarded as encounter specialists by the DIG and are about to be promoted. They said that police will do the needful but cannot name them in FIR ..." (21/03)
