My oldest emphatically does not want to have children in the shit show this country has become. Who can blame him? He remembers how we struggled without Universal Healthcare, paid family leave, paid childcare, etc. He saw his little brother born with a birth defect and us going bankrupt trying to save him. Dr. Oz can just the fuck up now. This is not a modern, thriving Democratic socialist country. It is a grifting operation for handful of criminals running it.

You hear that woman, screw getting a job and stay home to pump more babies into this world. Approximately 450,000 infants and toddlers (ages 0–5) experience homelessness annually in the U.S.. Additionally, over 100,000 children in the foster care system are currently eligible and waiting for adoption. Yeah, but let's pump more babies out.

I have 3 kids. When I had my 3 kids 15+ years ago, we owned homes & cars. We had money for travel, leisure, & college. Then Covid disabled me in my prime, & now I spend $4000 a month on rent & almost $3000 a month on groceries.

Female here checking in. I never wanted kids. I'm now over 60, still don't want kids and never regretted not having kids. Not every female wants to be (or even should be) a mom. Nor do all of us want to be brood mares.
