Two Texas children did not die of measles. At a recent congressional hearing, RFK Jr. was asked a “burning question” about whether he was responsible for the measles outbreak. His response was piercing and addresses two purported deaths from measles – you should watch it. Video below. To further drive Secretary Kennedy’s point, today we sent a letter to Congress in which we provide critical information concerning measles and measles vaccine, and importantly, provide a medical record review authored by Dr. Pierre Kory in which he clearly shows how the deaths of these two children were not from measles. We don't have detailed data for the whole world back then, but in the United States, the infection rate was around 300 Americans per hundred thousand. It was in 1963 that John Enders created the measles vaccine, and we can see that infections and deaths plummeted very quickly. Since the introduction of that vaccine, we've reduced measles infection by more than 99% in the US."
