Does it go the other way? Does a wife have to drive you up the walls to be a real wife?

I’m 59 yrs old and I’ve been with my husband since I was 17. We raised 3 kids and that man loved those kids thru thick and thin. He had 100% more patience with my unruly sons than I did. You see my husband was the provider and I stayed home with the kids. He worked in the oil field where he was only home 5 days a month. Even though he was gone he called the kids often. There were no cell phones or face time. The kids would call daddy when mommy had to punish them for bad behaviour and took away their privalages. Oh the poor me syndrome ran high in my home. Daddy told them mommy’s the boss much to their dismay. We taught our kids good choices get rewarded and bad choices don’t. There are good and bad consequences for their choices. My husband loved my sense of humour and my quirky behaviour. I wasn’t one to worry about problems bcz with every problem there is a solution when we brainstorm together to solve them. I wouldn’t change my life for anything.

I'm starting to hate AI and it's only just beginning.

I love JP but I beg to differ, i am a man & those annoying parts arent to be neglected. If we love a person then why wouldn't we both change our bad & annoying habits for our loved ones. For our kids as well. Should I keep doing those habits so that our kids thought it's normal?

It’s what I’ve heard a lot of widows say they miss the most, and wish he was there doing all those things that drove them crazy.
