🚨 I support the recalling of parliament for the Bondi Condolence Motion ... but I do not support rushing in new laws in the aftermath of a tragedy. The further erosion of free speech and the rights of law-abiding firearm owners is chilling. Seems likely there will be Royal Commission ... so surely the proposed news laws should be drafted and then debated when the findings of that inquiry are published. Rushed laws in the aftermath of 9/11, the sub-prime crisis and COVID proved to be counter-productive. The problem with rushed laws is that we do not leave ourselves time to think through the long term consequences.

Sadly stupidity has become a prerequisite for having an opinion because those 13 million illegals are also not racking up hospital bills crowding schools and taking resources from American citizens such as jobs.
