I remember 20 years back, when I stepped in Delhi for the first time, English was the most adopted language. If you don't speak it, you used to be considered as Gawar and Lower class. Many used to make it a status symbol. People will make fun of your spelling mistakes, grammar and your accent and embarrass you. Corporates still make it the first criteria to for a Job interview. Many are there who have good IQ and good business sense in India but they are left behind because of this language. Many are confident in Hindi or their mother tongue speaking but they become hesitant because of this. It is a communication channel we should know but it is the most dragged language.

I live in NewYork. Everyday I witness, ppl talk to thr kids in thr own language not in English. English only in school or with whom who doesn’t know thr language. My 4 old daughter talks in fluent English in school and fluent Hindi at home bcoz we never talk in English at home.

Chalo kisi ne is issue ko mahatva to diya nahi...to hm Hindi medium se padhe bachcho ka isi inferiority complex me .....

Take Japan, South Korea, France, Italy, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Spain, Russia, China, Poland.. they all provide school, college and university education in their national language. Why Bharat is offering education in invader's language?

She is absolutely right !! And this English fashion has crept into the society so badly That we are now not encouraging Hindi enough .. It’s a sad reality

After this video she told his son “beta don’t touch it, it’s not healthy you know”.. Hypocrites the one who is posting and other who is sharing..

I disagree, now in India, English is a must. If not why @divya_gandotra your last 10 tweets are in English.?Some intellectuals ( like the woman in the video) don't want the middle class to speak and learn English( which is now an essential part of day-to-day life). Peace out✌️

What if we change all the subjects to Hindi?

🤓👏👏

Hindi ki counting kisi school me nhi likhwayi jaati jabki yeh compulsory hona chahiye
