@IndianaGPA I believe this I had one at 35. I was very thin and flat chested the pain it caused me for at least a week made me start researching and I haven’t had one since.

I've always felt like we grow tumors and they dissolve themselves most of the time. Getting frequent mammograms increases the chances of finding one in transition and causing women to become more sick from the surgeries to follow. Call me crazy but..

@MagaGrunt1 100% agree…I stopped those years ago after years of them. I was considered “high risk.” Thermography now, out of pocket of course, but worth EVERY PENNY.

How about a breast ultrasound, instead?

I think breast ultrasound should be the gold standard because it’s always the follow up for dense breast tissue regardless.

Hard blows to the flesh cause cancer. X-rays cause cancer. That is exactly what they do in a mammogram, so YES, they cause cancer.

The more I hear people talk, the less I trust them, and the more I realize that we can ONLY trust God.

@GidgitVonLaRue My bestie found out she had breast cancer with a routine, recommended, free mammogram, without it she wouldn't have known, she didn't feel a lump or have symptoms.
