How many people love staring at fire? Psychological benefits • Reduced stress & anxiety • Promoted relaxation & calm • Enhanced mindfulness & meditation • Improved focus & mental clarity • Trance-like/alpha-theta brain states • Increased feelings of comfort & safety Physiological benefits • Lowered blood pressure (strongest with flames + crackling sound) • Decreased heart rate • Activated parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest mode) • Potential release of feel-good chemicals (serotonin, dopamine, endorphins) (Backed by studies, e.g., Lynn 2014)

LOVE staring into a fire…..I honestly had to double check my firepit …thought his photo was mine.

I was with him until the Africa part. Out of Africa theory has been debunked by @robertsepehr and others. Dr. Zach Bush is not "from Africa". He is from Europe where they needed fire for warmth MUCH MORE than Africans did.

People think I'm silly for saying I go to the forest for therapy. I sit with the trees and stare at the fire. It's 100% real.

Hinduism for 1000's of years has been practicing Yagya an ancient Hindu Vedic ritual involving offerings to a consecrated fire (Agni) accompanied by chanting mantras. It symbolizes sacrifice, devotion, and purification, aimed at promoting environmental and spiritual well-being.

Love this! …the firelight peace that facilitates knowing our true selves… individually and ancestrally…

I have GORGEOUS memories of watching bright red embers glowing & receding into the night... bright, calming, entrancing, mesmerising, & oh so soothing 🔥☺️🔥

The open flame, the source of cave heat, is evocative and represents a CLOSENESS WITH THE ORIGINSN OF LIGHT AND LIFE. An open fire elicits certain responses from the cells that, for instance, a furnace does not. The effect of the light plus the warmth on the skin is EXTREMELY HEALING. People sit by a fireplace in wintertime because it is unconsciously recognized that RECUPERATIVE and THERAPEUTIC results occur. Simply put, the cells respond to firelight in SOMEWHAT the same manner that flowers do to sunlight. The stimulation is much more than skin deep, however, and an open fire IS CLEANSING. It even helps CLEAR THE BLOOD. Seth/ Jane Roberts: "The fireplace in the hill house is advantageous, as the one in the house on Foster Avenue would have been, simply in that the open hearth represents an inner source of strength and stability. The open flame, the source of cave heat, is evocative and represents a closeness with the origins of light and life. Now: An open fire elicits certain responses from the cells that, for instance, a furnace does not. The effect of the light plus the warmth on the skin is EXTREMELY HEALING. Simply put, the cells respond to firelight in SOMEWHAT the same manner that flowers do to sunlight. The stimulation is much more than skin deep, however, and an open fire IS cleansing. It even helps clear the blood. Cavemen recognized this. I am not suggesting that you use your fireplace instead of the furnace. I am saying that in wintertime there are definite health-value effects to be felt when you sit in front of an open fire. Two evenings a week would be quite effective." @grok is this true?

What does ‘turn on’ mean….

Is phone screen as good as flame? 🔥

Out of Africa is bullshit

The same could be said when looking down at our babies in our arms. We connect to who we are

By doing Pranayama or routing the Pranan inside our bodies, using ancient Indian Yogic techniques, we can kindle the inner fire (or Tapas) which will have a similar effect on our body

This tests should be done on born again Christians I bet nothing will light up, because there stem cells know thez nothing to fear about the fire..if you don't get it forget about it.

🔥

So maybe if I lower my phone a bit, and aim my eyes slightly downward I will reconnect with my humanity. Cool.

Agree

👏 I feel this. Now image the true power of the Sun 🌞

Same with waves at the beach

Aryan peoples spread to and from northern India/Iran, long long ago.

Those are a lot of random specialties

I see it in my Cambodian wife strawberry picking .. it’s ancient reconnection

🔥Let the heat begin the beat 👏🤣

💟☯️💟

As a young girl, before stresses of life arrived, I loved to stare down at our open fire at home. It brought me such joy, that I would enter a trance-like state of happiness.

@karelwas8 Always loved staring at the camp fire

wowww..

What a beautiful testimony to the power of how we direct our gaze.

All men instinctually stare into fire.

Wow

What is meant by the stem cells turning on? I have never heard of that.

We are In this world but are not to be Of this world.
