The best thing that ever happened to me is that I didn't care what other people said. It's not because I don't respect it.. I respect it, I listen to it, but at the end of the day, I'm just not built to have it dicate my one at-bat at life

Jodar about Carlitos:”he's given me good advice on how to play here, that I should enjoy it, that in the end it's an event where the best players are, and that I should take it one match at a time, that it's a very long tournament, that in the end everything is decided on the last day, and that above all I should enjoy the experience.”

“The Church is on the side of the immigrants. “It used to be that we would think of the church as aligned with right-wing parties. It’s not anymore. It is on the side of unity. It’s on the side of acceptance. It’s on the side of welcoming different peoples and different cultures. And the pope is saying that these are the things that help Europe grow as a culture and as a civilization.”

Lara speaks on how deeply false narratives & mischaracterization can affect them: “There's just people like say such horrible things and run with it And [..] they don’t realize [..] how painful that can be to be on the receiving end of that. Steph Curry on if it bothers him the way the Hornets guarded him tonight: “There’s a part of you that like fights it just because it’s not real basketball. But there’s also a part of it that it’s flattering. Just knowing that you demand that much attention, and also what it does to create shots for other guys on the floor. I’ve seen it all, so I know if that’s how they wanna guard, how I can be effective, not letting it take me out of the game, but also use it to our advantage as a team. It’s also funny at times just how egregious it is.”

It is incomprehensible that Graham Platner is on the verge of securing the Democratic nomination in the Maine Senate race. At the end of the day, we just need the people of Maine to send Susan Collins back to the Senate and keep that Republican Majority in the Senate!🇺🇸

👮‍♂️This female officer was not mentally equipped for this 1st Amendment auditor. She illegally detains him for taking pictures in the police department parking lot and ends up regretting it. "At the end of the day", she violated this man’s rights! We could turn this video into a drinking game... Take a shot every time she says "at the end of the day." So "at the end of the day", "at the end of the day", and by the "end of the day", it will be "the end of the day" so at "the end of the day", we will all be at "the end of the day". When will it become common knowledge among police officers that public photography is not illegal?

Chamath Palihapitiya on Elon Musk: “Whether you like his style or not, his substance is irrefutable.” “Maybe he may mistweet from time to time. My point is, who cares? Your job as a smart investor is to separate the facts and the news from the fiction and the noise. And all of that stuff doesn't matter. It does not change the fact that tens of thousands of consumers are buying that car faster than they can get their hands on it. It doesn't change that the minute you sit inside that car, your definition of what is expected is altered forever. And you wonder why every other car around you that you ever step in that you may buy doesn't have the same things that that car offers. So, at the end of the day, whether you like his style or not, his substance is irrefutable.” CNBC, May 1, 2019

Kelly Oubre Jr. was asked about so many Knicks fans being in Philadelphia tonight: "I could say something that could get clickbaited, but I'm not. At the end of the day, we're the show on the court. We're not necessarily focused on the crowd, the things like that. Obviously, we need it. We love it and we love our fans. But at the end of the day, we have to lock in on our task. We have to figure out our gameplan, just have a tight huddle. No matter what, it's loud. It's kind of the same no matter who the crowd is cheering for. It's loud. We have to be focused on the task at hand and just kind of have a short-term memory when it comes to things like that. But at the end of the day, we are home. This is the court that we practice on, we shootaround on and we're comfortable here. We just got to go out there and just perform."

Kuminga on people who question if he’s committed to being with the Warriors after the way contract negotiations went: “I feel like a lot of fans get in their feelings. And it’s mostly not the ones that actually be at the games. It’s the ones that just be at home on social media. The actual fans that come here every other day and support us, they are the real MVPS… The people I talk to. The front office. The coaches. They know how committed I am to this team.”

Cooper: What we did is put together a coalition of people so that at the end of the day, their own constituents were telling them that we need Medicaid expansion in North Carolina. And now we have 675,000 people who have health insurance. Right now, though, Washington’s trying to take it all away. And it’s one of the reasons that Tillis stood up on the floor of the Senate and said, “How can I vote for this?”

Don’t think about the fact that when Outro: Tear was written, it was for the members. It was written in contemplation of whether they should quit or not. Don’t think about the fact that it was during a time when they were being faced with such physical, mental and emotional burnout from extreme stress and pressure. Don’t think about how the lyrics of Tear are meant to counterpart the metaphorical embodiment of the mirror between tears shed from sorrow and grief of something ending and the physical act of tearing or ripping something apart. Don’t think about how rapline’s individual verses speak of their fears and internal struggles in coming to terms with how they are coping with the distraught of the inevitable end of something they thought was forever, something they were heading towards together, something that was their dream that is now destroying them. Don’t think about Namjoon’s raw conflict with the illusion of forever when he sings:- “Goodbye that ended up coming to me is what I deserve at the end of my playacting full of lies” Or “Forever, stop saying things like forever Theres gotta be an end anyway” Don’t think about Namjoon’s ever present conflict with the mask he wears, wondering if people would still love him the same if they saw the bare face that only he knows behind the illusion. Wondering if that goodbye was what he deserved after all since he’s not been sincere, always hiding behind something. If forever is really forever when an end was always coming for him. Don’t think about Yoongi’s verse of burning rage and despair when he sings:- “Slowly cut out my heart, yeah yeah squeeze with your foot the broken pieces of my heart so that my lingering feeling don’t remain anymore” Or “I hope you kill me quickly without hesitation, yeah yeah burn it so that even the burnt ash doesn’t remain” Don’t think about how it is actually Yoongi’s demand of a clean break. To rip his heart apart, doesn’t matter how deep it goes. Rip it. Burn it. Torch it. Don’t hesitate. He’s saying if this beautiful thing needs to end then he wants it to end completely, so that even the hope of possibly putting all the pieces back together are gone. Don’t think about Hoseok’s verse that serves as the final climax to the visceral pain and heartbreak in his chest when he sings:- “At the moment a word comes out of your mouth, at the moment where focus becomes irregular, at the moment where everything is in danger ” Or “From now on I’m with incurable disease of parting, you’re my beginning and end, that is all, my meeting my parting, that was all, from now on fear will repeat itself, caused by you, tear, tear” Don’t think about Hoseok’s delivery of his lines here. How at a certain point, he stops singing it. He is screaming it. “I should not have shed tears I should not have torn it off.” He is hyperventilating it. The pain is too much and it’s affecting him. The way he’s basically crying saying what once was his salvation, his beginning, is now his weapon. His end. How goodbye was just a moment but now it’s here. This inevitability of parting that was always gonna be the price he pays for loving you. This is his end. This is his fear. And it’s because of you. This is his tear. As in rip. Just don’t think about any of it. At all.

people twisting his words here calling him straight and say he dgaf about representation in queer love is so upsetting. how is saying “it’s just a story about two people” wrong? it’s not ignoring identity, it’s normalizing it. BL as a label is important for representation but it doesn’t mean the story has to be limited by it. queer romance should be treated normally like any romance films of straight people and can exist in any genre such as action, thriller, horror, anything. at the end of the day love is love so treating it like it always has to stay in a separate box kind of goes against that idea.

It just goes to show that it’s all about politics with them. The sad part about that statement is that it ignores the American people. We finally have a person who is willing to take a look at all the fraud waste and abuse‼️🇺🇸
