The birthday that stuck with me the most was my 7th. I wanted a skateboard so badly back then. Really badly. I saw it, but it was very expensive and also quite dangerous. I had seen it in a sports store and thought, Oh, I would love to have that so much. And my mum, it cost around 80€. Mum ended up surprising me not only with the skateboard but also with the case, I was like, “I can’t believe it!” But really, the case cost another 10€, I was over the moon. I’ll never forget that birthday. Not bc of the gifts themselves, but bc of that feeling of attention and care. My mum worked a lot back then, but she didn’t earn much. #zeudiners

As the Patrick Kane signing as sunk in more as the day has gone on, I keep thinking of him watching the tribute video his first game back in Chicago with Detroit. He was going through it and it was written all over his face. Typically you get the smile and wave, maybe wipe a tear, but he was torn up. He snapped out of it after the first lap when he finally just took it all in. Truly believe if it was always up to him, he would've never left. Rebuild and all. Patrick Kane is Chicago, man. Welcome home.

What do you think of this? As much as I’d love to say this was so easy and brilliant it was the opposite. We had to actually rip it back out when 50% done because tiling was poor and not what I wanted standards wise and also the design wasn’t the best in my opinion. Back to the drawing board and re start. What a bloody job

This dog had just been abandoned by the person it trusted most. Even after being left behind, it kept running after the owner’s car. When the car stopped at a red light, the poor dog caught up and stood beside it, almost as if it was begging to be taken back home. But the moment the light turned green, the car drove off again. The dog was left standing there alone, confused and heartbroken. A man nearby had seen everything. He couldn’t just leave the dog there, so he got out, gave it some water, and decided to take it home. But adjusting to a new family wasn’t easy. The dog spent most of its time curled up in a corner. It barely ate or drank and didn’t seem ready to trust anyone again. The man gave it space, but he also kept showing it kindness. He cleaned its ears, cared for it, and slowly started bringing out its playful side. One day, they even had a little noodle-eating competition, with a roast chicken as the prize. But the man jokingly grabbed the chicken before the competition was over. The dog was clearly not impressed. Little moments like this slowly helped it feel comfortable again. Before long, it was eating, playing, and finally starting to feel like part of the family. Then the couple had a baby. And that’s when the dog showed just how special it really was. It followed the baby everywhere and always seemed to be watching over him. But the couple noticed something strange. Whenever the baby crawled toward the hallway or kitchen, the dog would gently stop him and guide him back to one particular corner of the living room. At first, they couldn’t understand why. Then one day, the wife watched closely and finally figured it out. The hallway floor was wet. So was the kitchen floor. Those areas took longer to dry after cleaning, making them slippery for the baby. That little corner of the living room was the only completely dry and safe place. The dog knew. I lived in the US for a year back in 2003. Matrix Reloaded came out in May, and the hype around it was seriously insane, beyond imagination. In the movie, the main characters are using this super cool phone, and then in a close-up shot, I spotted the 'Samsung' logo right there on it. It felt absolutely mind-blowing and magical. I came back to Korea full of hope that this thing would actually go on sale worldwide. But later I found out it was only released in the US as a super limited edition of just 5,000 units (or so I heard back then). I was hugely disappointed… but eventually, I tracked one down and bought it from a collector. Even now, looking at it, the design is still so damn cool. I took it to a carrier to try using it for real, but they told me it’s a 2G phone and can’t be used anymore. That was another big letdown, I remember it clearly. Do you guys like the Matrix movies too? I’m a total huge fan!

When I got to the hotel in NYC, I wasn’t expecting much, good thing because it wasn’t much I got either however it still was pretty expensive due to the fact it was NYC. Just like how these girls booked a room and it was basically a two story broom closet. What’s sad is that no matter how bad the room these girls booked was, mine was way worst, I would have gladly stayed in their room. When I got to the hotel, it looked neat and trendy, super busy. The room was $700 a night which I expected to be a room in a palace because k got a recommendation from someone and they loved it. When I got there it wasn’t horrible, the room was maintained neatly and it wasn’t super spacious but wasn’t cramped either. The appliances looked fairly new and it had a decent tv and PS5 to okay which is always a perk. What made this room not what I expected was it was the rat I saw in the corner. I could tell it was used to being there for a while because it didn’t bother running away when I walked in, in fact it was cozied out on the couch like it owned the place. I even sat beside it and didn’t get a reaction from it. I left and went downstairs to the desk after I took a pic and showed the receptionist what I saw. She said of that’s Gus, he visits the rooms from time to time we’ve never been able to get rid of him. How bad is it that you have a rat in the room and you named it because it comes back so often. These people never heard of the exterminator obviously. I didn’t have a choice but to stay there but following the receptionists recommendation I made sure I didn’t leave anything edible around. I guess he comes by from the restaurant the hotel is built into and then never have been able to fully get rid of him in a humane way.
